well i say good for him. he's thinking about his future and where this band is taking him, and it's not the direction he wants to go. he's smart to get out while he's still ahead. he still is popular enough to get out on his own and do well, and i hate to say it but boybands don't last forever, they're getting older, he probably sees that and realizes that NEWS' days are numbered so he's better to get out before they become nobodys, and continue his career rather tha have to try to make a comeback later on.
smart move in my opinion.
i know it's sad for NEWS fans, but i think it's very good for Yamapi fans.
and i'm excited to see him try different acting roles. i like the characters he plays so far, but... they're kind of all the same character. he really is good at the brooding emo prettyboy character but he can't keep playing that character forever. i'm anxious to see what else he can show us :)
