Quantcast

I agree with many already listed.  (But not CLOY, haha)

My disappointments:

  • Perfect Marriage Revenge
  • Welcome to Waikiki
  • The Legend of the Blue Sea
  • Undercover High School
  • My Liberation Notes
  • Marry My Husband
  • Kill Me, Heal me
  • A Time Called You
  • King the Land
  • Love Next Door
  • Idol I

I also think less eps is generally better overall.  Long drawn out is borrrrring!

 AmelieLucan:
How interesting that you said this. In the last few days I've dropped two dramas because I couldn't handle the hairstyle of the MLs.

I've never heard of anyone else having difficulty with hairstyles! I thought it was just me so I never talk about it. I feel kinda petty, but it's a thing. For some reason hair matters to me - male or female. I don't think I've had to drop a drama for that sole reason but I know it's a contributing factor for sure!

So true. There have been many dramas I either dropped or did not enjoy as much as I should (I loved the reincarnation trope in Chicago Typewriter! but that us army buzz cut was a total buzz kill!)

We should organize a club here. Something along the lines: Bad Hair Day in Dramaland where we can rant about bangs hiding eyes, hair extensions and bad haircuts.🤣🤣🤣

I'd join that club. I'd love a chance to rant about bad hair! It can totally spoil a drama for me.

 potatocouch:
No way!! D: Where did you see this??

Posted the link right above:  https://www.reddit.com/r/CDrama/comments/1mtax6r/megathread_online_rumours_about_chinas_nrta/ (rumours so far, but a drama aired with 48 eps recently, so... :/)

 potatocouch:
If the government lifts the ban, production companies, tv stations, and ad companies will get greedy again, and start making 50 episode dramas with plots as thin as string cheese.

Yes, tho... pls, I can't go back to this...

 potatocouch:
But no...someone in the court's gotta plot for six whole episodes.

And drinking tea uninterrupted for 20 minutes, and crying for 3 episodes straight, and walking around, and talking endlessly about metaphors and boring stuff and-

Gosh I have a few very popular ones. Some of them I tried to watch 2 or 3 times but couldn't... I'm going to anger a lot of people :( I think it's just personal preference in the end.

  • Goblin - the age gap was too much, 16 (or was it 18?) and 500 years, plus the female character acting was so cringe, she acted like a 13 year old. I know the character was supposed to be like that, but I can't figure out why the heck why?

  • Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha - I was super bored and the MLs chemistry was 0 imho

  • Hwarang - this one was one I really, really did not like

  • Tale of the Nine-Tailed - Just, the FM was so helpless

  • When the Camellia Blooms - Couldn't make it past episode 1, tried 3 times, just not for me

  • Beyond Evil - Didn't vibe with it at all, had to drop it, the acting was not great because I felt they were leading the viewer in a certain (mis)direction and weren't being subtle at all

  • Signal - Sorry, I really did not like this one, I had to drop it. I really wanted to like this one too, I tried to watch it 4 times!

  • Healer - really disliked the MFL

  • Angel's Last Mission: Love

  • What's Wrong with Secretary Kim

  • Doom at your Service

  • Hello Monster

  • Abyss

  • Moving (hides. Sorry!)
