Those are good points! Though I'm not keeping my hopes up since there are only four episodes left to the series and the last two episodes killed me with frustration, I'll try to point these out to lower expectations and lessen any impending heartbreak:

The wallet is a very good point but the one who caught it used his right hand in catching. Chilbong is a right-handed pitcher. He throws with his right hand and catches with his left.

The camera angle is from Shi Won's height so it may have created an illusion that he's that tall or we can go with the PD's 'trolling' and assume he's a stand-in.

This is probably the single-most convincing piece of evidence posted on every site I visit. Those are definitely not Trash's parents. But after the red car that passed by Binggrae from the last episode, I bet there's another explanation why the parents are like that or go by their earlier explanation that they are, like the groom, are also stand-in actors.

Exactly my thoughts xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD but worst, I thing! At least in HIYM we didn't have anyyyy clue of who it was, so i could be anyone...but this "hunting" for clues in the 1994, 2002 and 2013's scenes is seriously driving me crazy! And unless it's a HUGE GIGANTOUS ENOURMOUS plot-twist, I don't think in 4 episodes the story line and couple thing will change that much...
great pictures ylisse really makes you wonder ...

and i'm confused why everyone is so upset about the red car, did i miss something? Does red = male?
and i dont really think you have to define someone as either gay or not gay, you can be bi too.

because at the last episode of reply 1997, it was a red car who fetched hoya
It's not really about sexual preference nor is it about the red car, it's how the PD kept on 'trolling' the viewers.
Well, if the battle is on the logic and everything, it's easy to root on Trash, I know. But my heart can't fully give up Chilbong yet, not until he comes back or totally give NaJung up. No matter what, if ever it's Trash, I would really love to if the drama will show the entire 2013 and wedding (2002) scenes Full, with husband on it, negating all every possible hint on Chilbong and proving that he isn't the one on those timelines. PS: But I will still Hate the writers if Chilbongie isn't the one. XD
what is irking me about the trolling, esp in the case of the red car, is that it's lame and skill less. in r 97 the indentity of Shiwon's husband was a mystery b/c of good story telling and plot twists. it was the way the story was developed, not gimicks like baseballs and wallets, that kept us from being sure, not just about the identity of Shiwon's husband but about other events. here's what's so cheap and lame about the red car in r94. this whole time the writers/PD have been playing with BingRae's attraction to Trash. and by playing i mean waking up from the trash/na jung coma long enough to shake Bingrae's story and see if it's still awake. instead of developing the plot and the characters w/in that sphere of the story it's all watered down lame looks and inuendo that depend on us the audience to remember the previous season and wonder if Bingrae is the token gay kid. and then we see this red car and we have hope that maybe it could be, mostly just b/c we're sick of not knowing. if he was truely just confused or even bi his character's personality dictates that he struggle with it all a bit more than he was shown to. the red car is the writers/PDs way out of having to build the plot up to a point of real climax, b/c hell that takes skill and it's hard. it's like a your asshole friend locking the car doors and pulling up a few feet when you try to get in. it's not plot, it's not development, it's "HAHAHA!!!! made you look!" and it this point i cant be the only perosn who is sick of it.

All I can tell you is: you're not!
This is starting to stress me a looot! I think that r97 all "let's go until the end to know who the husband is bla bla bla" was so successeful that they just decided "hey, let's make 94 ALL about trolling the audience and CONSTANTLY throwing curve balls"

Not amused, my friends...not amused.

It may be a very small scene but it was memorable because it signified that Joon Hee moved on from his feelings for Yun Jae. A lot of people loved Hoya's character and sincerely wished for him to be happy. But this is not the point.

ahha i know what u guys are saying, this whole drama is kinda built on that kind of concept .... just like the over used sheep
when this started out i felt like it was a very sincere portryal of the characters at that time and their coming of age story. somewhere along the line it stopped being about that story and started being about how many times the auddience could be fooled and misdirected. the misdirection was ok at first, but nopw they've over used it and it feels lazy.
@nekoblah: yeah I guess you could put it that way. The sheep sound used to be spot on and it added to the humor. Now it's used too often, it just became unnecessary.

* * *

I think the drama also suffered for its slow pace (other than the repeated misleads), purposely fitting the 1994 to 2002 timeline in 20 episodes.(I'm assuming the narrative will end 2002 at NJ-Kim Jae Joon's wedding.) Given, these years were the most important for the bunch because this period was when they lived together, got into meaningful relationships, two pairs (or more) got married and so on, but they could have balanced out the story-telling. Several posts ago I remembered saying that I liked how supporting characters are taking turns at the spotlight but then later there's a pattern: one character takes the spotlight while another one becomes noticeably absent (as in the case with Haitai and then CB).
I agree that the writers are taking each element that made 1997 successful and amplifying it for 1994, but I don't think that makes this drama any less good. What I like about 1994 is that they developed each side character really well and they all feel real. Each of them has a story, and each of them gets little stories in different episodes. I think that people are getting frustrated with 1994 because they're focusing on the romantic parts. Yes, we all thought Bingrae was gay, and that he would end up with Hoya, and then he wasn'tm and that sucks for us (still think he's a repressed gay), but the truth is that they never said he WAS gay, unlike with Hoya, he was just confused, and I think that is way more refreshing than having "the gay character", because we already had that in 1997. And as for who will Na Jung end up with (I think it's pretty obvious by now), both of them are really good, and I love them both, but it's not really about which one is better, it's about who she loves, and who she thinks fits better with her. I get why people are so upset, and I was like that before, but now I'm just rolling with it and enjoying this drama for the friendship between all of them and their developments through life.
Let's see; up until episode 10, I was confident that this drama is better than Reply 1997. There are many things that drew me in such as the characters' developments, the likeable female lead, the awesome friendship and so on. Starting episode 11 or so; things began to go downhill whether because of the stupid "Who's the husband game" that became so tiresome after episode 13 or because the lack of developments and the focus on certain characters while ignoring others. What also bugged me off is the drama and the episodes' length; they're the perfect conditions for dragging and I insist that this drama dragged a lot in the latter episodes. Those factors keep deducting points from Reply 1994 and I blame the poor execution because with this concept, the drama makers could've done an outstanding piece of work.
