Hello everyone. I hope you all are doing well and having a great week. I love strong female leads and female centered plot. I recently completed decision to leave (2022) and I loved how female lead portrayed her complex villain character with raw emotions and grit. Alongside this I also came across price of confession (2025)and I absolutely loved how she portrayed herself to be very sweet lovable innocent and very vulnerable during her interrogation/getting into bus/entering prison scenes. It was an amazing performance by female lead. So I genuinely believe this trope has become my new favorite and now I am looking for dramas and movies with female lead being accused/criminal/interrogated/in prison etc . For example 1-Doubt (2024) Absolutely loved dark character portrayed by female lead and amazing cat and mouse game with police. 2- Clairebell (2025) Really loved two ultra opposite female leads one very innocent vulnerable in prison and other absolute ruthless fearless in prison. 3-Price of Confession(2025) 4-Mask Girl (2023) Absolutely loved acting and portrayal different stages of her criminal life/trying to evade justice and also loved how female lead become badass crazy when she entered prison lol :) 5-Decision to leave (2022). I know there are lot of movies and dramas made in this trope with male leads but sometimes I feel like it is little bit tough for me to connect to main character maybe because they do lot of action scenes/lot of violence/ 10vs 1 hand to hand combat. So now I am looking for reverse trope with female lead being criminal/accused/in prison etc . I know it is a very rare troop but If you friends can help me with anything I would be very grateful. It can be from any country and I am completely fine with future recommendations as well (2026,2027 etc). I will add it to my plan to watch list if it is going to be released in future because I have no idea if anything in this trope is going to get released in 2026/2027 and I already know it is a very rare troop :).
