I don't know if what I'm searching for exists but I want a solid romance drama involving terrible people! But I don't want them to just be terrible for the sake of being terrible to the point of annoyance, I want their mindsets to actually make a lot of sense. Sorry, I'm just tired of green flag characters that have zero personality, no offense. Anyways, here are some things I'm looking for, please help a gal out!:
- Mind games
- Both are toxic and manipulative but likeable/charismatic with loads of personality
- Both are morally grey and mentally complex
- Loads of sexual tension and chemistry
- Can be enemies to lovers, or one-sided rivalry.
- I want them to be smart and actually have critical thinking skills, like they could see through each others bullshit and take it to their advantage, ykwim?
- Mutual obsession! I want both of them to YEARN like crazy for one another.
- Both will hurt each other at some point. Gimme, gimme angst!
- Both of them know each other the most, like they know the most painful way to hurt the other and also vice versa.
- Satisfying ending
