Badly need show that focuses solely on the character/romance development of both leads. I hate shows that are straight up romance, no development, and has love triangle.

What I read in your post is that you want a romance that gets across who the leads are as people, and doesn't have poorly written clichés. And you want the romance and relationship to be front and center. Because you say you want to get a good night's sleep, it sounds like maybe you want a sweet romance that brings up real issues, but stays away from artificially extended crises. Any problems that arise develop the characters and add layers to the relationship. Also, the problems are resolved quickly and in a way that works. If that's what you're looking for, Amidst a Snowstorm of Love has a lot of backstory and detail about the characters, and the romance is beautiful.

But when I look at your Watchlist, it seems like you particularly love unique, quirky characters and dramas that have some comedy and attitude plus dynamic chemistry. Is that where you are coming from? If so, you might like Love to Hate You. It has some suspense, but everything gets resolved quickly. It also features two edgy, strong personalities in conflict, and it generates a lot of chemistry. It's pretty original, and has some very funny moments. There's a lot of role reversal in the drama, and they carry it off with style.

Which direction sounds better for you, the dreamy sweetness of Amidst a Snowstorm of Love or the wild sparks of Love to Hate You?

@kabocha Love your thoughtfulness! I genuinely appreciate the effort going through my list, post and possibly my comments. I'll definitely check out both of them but as of now, based on the description and tags Love to Hate You sounds more interesting.

I second kobocha's recommendation of Amidst a Snowstorm of Love if you want a soothing, calm watch before bed. Another in that vein of calm serenity is A Calm Sea and Beautiful Days with You.

Here are some other recommendations:

Hi Venus, a romcom of two decent people who get off on the wrong foot but resolve their misunderstandings.

My Sweet Mobster, a romcom of an ex-con falls in love with a children's entertainer. I don't see this recommended very often, and it isn't perfect, but I enjoyed watching the big, tough guy fall in love.

Oh My Venus, another romcom with a trainer and an unhealthy lawyer.

Road Home, finally a break from romcoms. This is a romance to two adults reunited after a long separation. It's slow and soothing.

Romantics Anonymous, and it's back to romcoms. I thoroughly enjoyed this short series of two people struggling with anxiety disorders.

Still 17, a romcom about two people struggling due to trauma and a coma, respectively. It's quirky and has deeply sad moments, but it resolves beautifully.

Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo, a romcom with a female weightlifter. There is a love triangle, but it isn't toxic at all. I despise love triangles, too, but this one is respectful and supportive. It's sweet.

You Are My Hero, is a romantic drama between a doctor and a member of a SWAT team. There is occasional violence, so maybe you don't watch it right before bed; however, the relationship is supportive and realistic.

That's quite a list, what's more each of them has a short insight. Thanks a lot @bojojoti! I'll go through them once I've cleared up some show.
