I recently noticed this new feature that shows comment and like history. While I understand its usefulness for personal tracking and record-keeping, I believe it should not be made publicly visible by default. This raises serious privacy concerns.
On this platform, people already tend to attack others over minor or even unnecessary issues. If someone becomes upset with another user, they could easily go through their entire comment and like history, pick apart everything, and start criticizing or trolling them. This kind of behavior is already common with publicly visible mywatchlist and profile , where people make assumptions and target others unfairly.
Given this environment, it’s unrealistic to expect that comment and like history won’t be misused in similar ways.
Therefore, I strongly request the introduction of proper privacy settings for comment and like history. Users should have full control over whether this information is visible publicly, limited to certain people, or kept completely private.
thanks
