From what I've heard, the two admins are the ones who repeatedly ignore this request.  The rest don't have the power to go against orders. This is why Gaga went as far as to create an online petition. But if enough of us ask nicely I guess miracles could happen. 

Yeah, maybe. I sent a DM to one of the admins. But I think it'll get ignored. :(

Unless we're buying MDL as a company, I don't think there's anything that can be done.

This issue has been ongoing for a long time, and the response is always the same: silence until the discussion dies down, only for it to resurface again later and more louder. For real i don't see a good justification that can justify why they are ignoring this.

If LGBTQ shows are being included, it’s only fair to also include LGBTQ service providers. The current approach is only increasing frustration among fans, which is never a good outcome. When people start talking about leaving the platform, that represents a real loss as people are starting to feel unwelcome and uncomfortable with the continuing silence.

If this continues to be ignored, the issue will only get louder. There is already discussions about discrimination going on, and people continuingly feeling this way can seriously cause a damage. Maintaining trust to the users is important for them to continue using the site, and addressing this clearly and thoughtfully can prevent further backlash which they still didn't do yet.

This is my overall honest opinion, this silence is not good in the long term.

I have been using GagaOOLala for the past 7 years as one of my "go to" sources for content. I've been so frustrated that it hasn't been added as a provider to MDL yet!! Almost as irritating as the fact that they do not have Vietnam content listed here yet either. 


For being such a comprehensive site with very useful tools and ways to connect with other viewers, it's just atrociousat they refuse to add both GagaOOLala and Vietnam to their website.

Adding a other streaming service is child's play compared to adding an entirely new country and it's huge database of films and series. While I too would love to see Vietnam added, I can also understand why they are dragging their feet on that. But not adding Gaga? There's just no excuse.

Agreed on both points. Adding Gaga, I may be missing something but isn’t it as simple as adding a Gaga icon for available networks so that contributors can select it? MDL doesn’t even let you sort your watchlist by network - would be handy considering some of us rotate what we are subscribing to.

Omg that would be such a convenient filter. I could switch between providers and my ptw. Itd make budgeting for subscriptions easier.

That would be amazing!!!

I used to just do a yearly sub to everything and have them renew in different months, but now I am rotating subs instead. Being able to sort by viewing service would be extremely helpful.

Yes, filter watchlist by service would be useful. But since the devs only do what they want to and when they want to, try building up custom lists by availability instead - VERY useful if you rotate subs. This is mine from my Gaga subscription. I added some thoughts about what I watched (and comments on what I dropped) so it's now an easily-scrolled diary.

I started it awhile back to add titles which were only available from Gaga so I'd be ready.... And then used it to help me prioritise and organise during.

It would only be fair, as votes increase and hopefully go over 1000, that we hear from the admins. But that may never happen. It's too bad, because MDL could be great, but they choose to remain mediocre.

I'm glad! Yeah, I feel like if we leave this site to the homophobic people, we're kind of letting them win. Better to stay and be a splinter in their eye 😉
