Ok follow up I finally had the stomach to continue watching. Last year I watched the first episode and immedietly said no...but actually? It has a pretty good plot line once you ignore the 3-4 nc scenes per episode...The first episode is fucking terrible but once you get over that hump it's gets pretty addictive.

The writing is just awful though and towards the end I felt like it was dragging then BAM to be continued...I saw on reddit that they may be planning to make a season 2 but come on... The last couple of episodes DID NOT NEED to be like that and could have been used so much more wisely. It has some pretty good plot twists and fake outs, which surprised me.

Pretty obvious theming with taboos that I think is nice to see since it's such a touchy subject! It's definitely worth trying out but it won't be for everyone. I think it just needs better writing, acting, and costuming...which sounds bad but like. It has a SOLID plot.

I'm literally living for Prom and Nont, they were the only ones who had chemistry.

Ok girlll this is cute. I like this way more than part 1! It's so refreshing to see a depressed character that is one represented well and two actually exists! I know it's not explicitly said but the way Phoon acts and how it's shot really gets that message across.

Like its playboy 2.0 so fun - plot kinda sucks but no one is watching for that. The AI usage is just so stupid. Every episode has these exposition segments with ai generated art flashing on screen and It's not needed. You literally could have got a bowl of peaches and filmed them and it would have been better. I do not understand how you have a series about an artist, WHERE IT USES AI GENERATED IMAGES. It's just gross.

I truly...find so much joy in this show. Watching it has brought something out of me that I didn't even know I had supressed. Every episode makes me laugh and the dopamine hits are unforgettable. Oh how much I will miss and yearn for you when it's over, my lovely Duang with you.

Ok this is my honest outcome. I've never wanted to drop a show more even after watching multiple episodes. I hate it- There is nothing likeable about the characters - it is literally about a guy trying to escape his abusive ex's house and I don't like the idea of them having a happy ending. I just can't stomach it. It's not even interesting either- if either of the characters had some intelligence or depth it wouldn't be as bad as it is. I'm on episode 6 and i think I'm freeing myself from the torment...I'm dropping it.

Now, settle down. Let me introduce to you something people ARE NOT talking about enough. I love this. This is fantastic. The acting? oh my god. INCREDIBLE. Surfjava have literally slipped into my favourite pairings how was this their first work together? THE CHEMISTRY IS INSANE.... THE TENSION? Phenomenal work.

When I saw Lu Yu Xiao in blossom I knew she would be booked and busy! This is an okay show. I would place it on a medium good not average but not amazing. I just find with Cdramas they DRAG on...So much and yet so little happens and it takes them 36 episodes.

The cat is by far the best character - hands down. Let's get more of cat boy please.

Like the story stinks always has but idk something about these actors works for me in a way the thai version didn't...I don't know if its because i understand the language less or like they got rid of the cringe elements - it just worked better for me.

It's underwhelming...i don't think Kim Hyunjin can save this one. He is the MVP here, in terms of acting and chemistry, and everything else. He is bringing 100% to the table. The writing is horrific, the plot makes no sense, and things happen...Not impressed.

Yet another show that uses generative AI...I'm starting to understand that it's very common in SK but- It's so lifeless...yeah so what a graphic is only being used on a screen in the background? It's so obviously ai generated and ITS BLARING at me. Someone could have spent 5 minutes making that lets be honest and it would have been able to suit the set and colouring so much better.

Ok...I am frustrated. I tried to ignore it but the AI usage...again...in a show about artists and designers!!!! Puhlease. What annoys me THE MOST...is that there are plenty of lower budget shows being produced and released, where main characters are artists, and they're not using AI. This one? I am most suprised by because there isn't a lot of art in it??? A couple of sketches? animation...? What are we doing? That is someone's job. Using AI generation makes it look tacky and removes any personality from the show.

Ok back to the story. I already knew that she would probably find out in the last few episodes but I wasn't really prepared for what that meant. Every episode has been the same conflict. He starts by saying he will tell her...he prepares...he goes to tell her...and something interrupts them. By the time she found out- she doesn't want an explanation- the episode ends- and I'm still confused how the past 2 episodes were the exact same.

I wish they just released the whole thing right now. I don't want to wait.

（*＾ワ＾*）Ok, was it good? Yes. Could it be better? Also yes.

The plot is very original! It's predictable but the concept itself is a great idea and refreshing. However the way it developed felt a little tight. The first few episodes were good at world building and character exposition but by the time we got to the confession I was kinda like - what? we're doing this now? It felt like he had just come up with some feelings that episode. We weren't shown much prior interest into the female lead until then, which sucks because they actually had good chemistry.  Contrary to what you might be thinking, Jisoo did well and acted well I didn't once think she dragged it down. Sometimes I even forgot it was Jisoo! It just brings it back to those last 4 episodes where their relationship was really quick in developing and being shown compared to the build up, which was heavy in world exploration but not so much with relationships.

However, it was fun. So fun. Seeing all the guest stars! Literally- They'd show the back of one of the boyfriends and i'd be like 'ohhhh..who is this- LEE JAEWOOK???' Fantastic. Just a round of applause for all the heart throbs making an appearance during the episodes. I really liked the Seo Eunho episode, it felt so real as if anything she did actually had an impact on the character but then being reminded that he was in fact just following a script - what a slap back to reality. When she told Yeongil that her boyfriend cheated on her with 10000 girls as well- Honestly it made me laugh a lot and I also threw my phone quite a few times.

High praise from me but only when acknowledging the pacing sucks!

I watched this back in the day but didn’t like it but now…I don’t know how I feel but episode 3 was so incredibly personal. The chemistry and tension was beautiful. The artistry is really peeking through. These characters can say so little but communicate so much through eye contact and body language and it amazes me how well I can understand them.

I like the story and I think their lack of communication and proneness to hurt one another is very natural but at the same time OH MY GOD JUST TALK TO ONE ANOTHER. It feels like they've gone out of their way to not say anything to the point I was angry.

Ok that is totally what it was...I hated the ending- I hate. I cannot stress this enough. I HATE REUNION ENDINGS. It's cheap- tacky even. It is the most boring resolve. There is a way to do it tastefully and this is not an example of that. Boring.

I think I told Sunset about You was really beautiful and I don't think the same artistry can be applied here. At the start, I was pretty hopeful that the story would be different. We see Oh'aew struggle with being homesick, finding friends, and planning his future but we also see Teh try and accomodate him as much as possible while still trying to live his own life. I think Teh has a hard time understand others and it's much more obvious in I Promised You the Moon. He still says hurtful things and tries to control others to prevent change but it's clear he's also struggling.

I just don't think they've had enough character growth for me to be interested...it's a little boring watching them have the same arguments over and over again. I feel like they've lost their chemistry - nothing is burning.

I'm really struggling to curate a view on this show. On the one hand I think PerthSanta have done a really good job + sam and the others. I just...I don't fancy the plot. Yeah so they actually hit him for a car for this show- Like I can see the editing but also that looked so fucking real. A bit unnatural- but they straight up just hit him with the car.

You know what...it's not bad. Every phuwin show I watch, I spend some time thinking about how well he acts. He's impressive - in all honesty he is one of the best actors in my library.

This story though...was a little boring? For me, I don't really know enough about the characters at risk for me to care- Like  of course I'm rooting for PondPhuwin but like the mum and dad...the friends and cousin- all of these characters have no effect. If they die it doesn't affect me...I feel like there needed to be a lot more build up from them before we reached the peak of conflict.

Honestly, I watched this show when it was airing and it was the best thing I had seen. Rewatching it now- wow...it was definitely a sign of the times. The script and acting are really something....else-

THE PLOT IS PLOTTING? Like its original and not original at the same time- It's a breath of fresh air for sure.

Since I got an iqiyi subscription might as well enjoy the benefits- it is a bit annoying to have them after every episode. I'd watch them in full and go 'oh shit yeah I was actually watching the show.'
