All the shows I watched in 2025!

( ͠❛ ͜ʖ͠❛ ) Wasn't anything special!

I didn't know what I expected but the first episode had me bored.
I do like the concept it's a similar setting to you are my glory but probably
with better acting.  I just didn't like any of the main characters, which
stopped me from progressing any further. I dropped it quite quickly
because the acting nor plot captured me.

(•﹏•;) I had high expectations for this.

I left it for a bit but after seeing raving reviews on social media
I gave it a try. I didn't make it far though as although the plot
was quite exciting I just found myself skipping through the episodes.
For such an edging plotline the suspense was quite...mundane.

I dropped it and then a couple weeks later everyone started review
bombing it so I think I dodged a bullet.

REWATCHED

(ง︡'-'︠)ง This show is a masterpiece with one short coming.

Literally everything about this show is immaculate. Out of all
the shows I've ever watched the quality of filming and soundtrack
is beyond what I expected.

At this point, I've watched it at least 6 times and it doesn't bore me.
The story is the only let down but we can blame the manhwa for that!
I really like the characters and how great it is at displaying different tropes
without shoving them in your face.

I actually based my English speaking exam on the unrealistic expectations
we receive from media using Nevertheless, as the example.
It's incredibly unrealistic but that's what I like about it.
Jae-eon, in all of his toxicity, is a breath of fresh air from the endless
amount of CEOs in the pool. Nabi and Jae-eon just made sense
and I will forever believe that. Nabi had plenty of admirers but
none of them felt right.

I also love the art university setting , which they captured perfectly.

૮ ⚆ﻌ⚆ა I was looking for another playboy ml...and well tempted was
the only one that came up.

I forgot how...bad it was? The characters, plot, and soundtrack are all
just unlikable. I got incredibly bored...skipped through the episodes I watched.

(୨୧•͈ᴗ•͈) I haven't felt...giddy as this...in a long time

HES SO? GORGEOUS? I...THE TENSION...MY HANDS ARE IN FRONT
OF MY FACE, AS I PEEK THROUGH THE GAPS.

Although its an adaptation of both the webtoon and K-drama, I really like
how it makes itself its own show. The budget does seem much lower but I'm in
love with their art directive. It's incredibly minimalistic but has a clear style.

The tension is clearly displayed, which made me cringe and writhe in literal pain.
This was exactly what I was searching for. It felt much more mature and simplistic
than it's counterparts, which was a nice touch.

It's a show that I believe could have been an email. Plot wise it feels rushed but
the dialogue drags out all the scenes far beyond what I think was necessary.
I think with this style of filming and editing it would have been a very nice film
adaptation.

There's actually a few negative reviews that I do agree with! I do think the
characters themselves are quite...boring like nothing makes sense about them
and the lack of plot points make them seem 2D? The gap between the original
Jaeon and this one is TOO wide that it makes it less of an adaptation but like a
hint of inspiration.

( ´•︵•` ) I actually was looking forward to this season but...

I don't know? Maybe I wasn't in the mood but I got 5 episodes in and
then...never picked it back up again? It's definitely a show I needed to
binge watch to finish.

The cast was surprisingly good in terms of like wow...I wonder how
much that cost because it was so star studded.

THAT WAS SENSATIONAL THAT WAS AMAZING OH MY GOD YES.

( ꈍ◡ꈍ) This is another show that I waited a long time for!

Ever since I saw glimpses of the idea I was sold and by the time it
released (2025?!?!) I hadn't watched a ton of Thai BLs for a whileeeee.
I watched 5-6 episodes in one go and I was giggling away trying to be
quiet. It was definitely funny! I do like the story but it's not as great
as I envisioned it years ago!

Compared to cutie pie NuNew's acting has improved a lotttttt!

(*ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)ꕤ*.ﾟ I don't know why I put off watching this for so long!

I mean the different cast did put me off significantly but as I watched it
I saw just how similar Sang Yan was in some ways...He was incredibly
handsome. Did I mention he was hot? yeeeeeeesh ;p

I actually hadn't seen any of these actors before APART FROM MIAOYIIIIIIII <3
So good to see her in something like this again!

I liked the story and arcs but I do think it dragged out just a tiny bit but it's
fine since I finished it all :)

( ˘•̥ _•̥ ˘ ) Another show I put off watching-

Gao Zheng and Fang Tong...Yeah- I both love and hate this duo!
I first saw them in Maid's Revenge  and my notes on that show was
just 'ASS' but I watched it because I saw tiktok clips of it! Same for this
one as it was literally taking over my fyp for the past 2 years so I gave it
a watch.

It wasn't terrible, in fact, out of all the dramas I've seen them in this was the
best but that doesn't mean much. It's your typical Cdrama, with an
emphasis on the c(DRAMA) :)

I love bad boy characters...sorry to my ancestors.

Well since I was giving Forever Love a visit I thought I'd watch
another drama of the duo and it was as I expected. This duo tend
to have a lot of forceful...scenes and this one is VERY very...very
comfortable with it...a lot.

The acting is actually worse...I finished it but at what cost.

˚‧º·(˚ ˃̣̣̥⌓˂̣̣̥ )‧º·˚ FICTIONAL MEN WHO SMOKE!!!

Social media has gone LITERALLY CRAZY over the sudden output of
BLs FROM CHINA!?!!??! I spat out seeing these being released because?
are we talking about the same country that censored mzds? the same one
that saw addicted and rampaged?!?! Wild.

This one was what I saw a bunch of clips from so I decided to watch it
and well...I like it and I don't like it. Its an EXTREMELY HARD (both ways) watch.
I had to cover my eyes a lot and skip through stuff but I mean there's a
hot man who smokes? Like fuck me can you cater anymore towards me
than that...FICTIONALLY-

I don't know why I picked this one out specifically? It's sort of one of
those ''early'' Korean BLs that have a low budget and the acting is weird...
The story is so minimal like It could have been a movie type drama.

I don't fully have feelings about this show...It's nice to see Yiran in a
role like this again though! The story is so fucking frustrating....like
someone would be disrespecting beiyu or qingyu was being blamed
for something and she just stood there like ._. OH MY GODDD OH
MY GODDD FUCKING STAND UP FOR YOURSELF MY JESUS
CHRIST I COULD NEVER BE HER BECAUSE I WAS LIKE SLAP HER

OK i’ve finished it now…The only kiss scene is in the last episode in the last minute. Do not be fooled this is not a fun show like i was led to believe. This is miserable. The romance is not even romancing enough to save how SAD the plot was.

This one is okay! The story line and some scenes live in the back of
my mind. I remember seeing Singles Inferno and going 'I KNOW THAT
MOTHER FUCKAAAAAA'

I know this plot point is overdone but I like how it was executed! I wish
we had a bit more development in the final episodes but it's a quick
watch.

unexpected depth but it was just a little too boring...I feel like there
wasn't that big moment like even with the designer guy he didn't reach
a climax it was very empty even if his actions weren't?

Another unexpected banger? Well after reborn I wasn't quite sure
what Yiran's next work would be like BUT THIS? Meets my expectations.
The acting? Pretty fucking good. Like whiplash but still pretty fucking good.

Ok after finishing it, it's a weird one. Like the first half is really good
and has the right amount of suspense and mystery to keep you hooked.
The second half? It felt wrong? Like mush. Nothing excited me and the
ending didn't really get to me either. I was too confused to form any emotional
attachments to the characters. Like it ended and my first reaction was like
'Well that was a show...that I watched...anyway...'

Zhou Yiran is still hot though so kisses to him xx

solid communication and the characters are nice people. Yet. That is the
only good thing about them. The acting is just beyond lifeless.
AND WHOEVER THE BOTTOM IS GIRL YOU'RE TOO OLD TO BE
ACTING LIKE THAT. The. The honey scene. THE SCORE IS ABYSMAL MY

It does have the issue though that they cast the twist villain as a
well known actor! In what world was First just going to be in that
many episodes as a cameo? So after a few scenes with him I was like
'yeah okay this guy is important. Yep okay this is the guy.'
it ruins the surprise. So many productions are doing this it's infuriating!

I liked the characters, which all had their own bit of personality.
The story was okay but after half way it did the typical NC focus
where every 10 minutes of every episode another couple is doing it.

(ᓀ ᓀ) I think this season focused on the wrong thing!

I think there was definitely points that brought clarity about the
characters and the world they were in but did it need a whole new
season? No...The whole plot for this season was that Usagi went back..
and Arisu had to go save her...? Ok...The games were good as always
especially the fortune one but it just doesn't compare toit's previous
seasons. Frankly, some of the new characters were boring and didn't
have enough depth for me to give a fuck about them when they died.
There were still a lot of deaths I was surprised by but its AIB everyone
is going to fucking die its just a matter of when.

I'm not sure what to think of the ending. The ending of season 2 was
exciting everything was wrapped up with just a small hint to another season.
This one was...a whole scene...in America? Please don't say we're getting
an american AIB. It doesn't need another season at all. All the loose ends
are cut ends that weren't even loose but were pulled out for a new season
are sorted. Let it rest.

It just felt overall not put together. The first 2 seasons are literally perfect
in terms of story telling, character arcs, and plot points. Some of the CGI as
well had me instantly snap back to 'oh that doesn't...follow the laws of physics'
Apart from the bodies fucking snapping like rulers great job otherwise...like...
what was the point? It was set up to be this like finding out why this was
happening and then we were interrupted with the games and that one professor
being a fuckass dick bag. Like the question that everyone wanted to know was
a quick scene at the end...puhlease.

Like yeah it's your average low budget KBL but- It's fun as fuck!

It just didn't capture me. I didn't like the premise of the show so I
just dropped it. Quick and simple break up. Didn't even think about it after.

INSANE. Like it was okay, I liked the premise but then she started

If you pretend the manhwa doesn't exist and act as if it's a standalone
it's not terrible  at all. However, putting all the shit they did in 2 hours
was INSANE. Just trying to read those chapters took me hours so they
really did not put enough stress on how INSANE some of the things that
were happening are. There were fuck all character introductions too.

I've tried to watch it multiple times and the most recent one has been
somewhat successful but I just hate the plot. All the story arcs are the
same thing that it's repetitive and boring...A bad thing happens to one
character? Ok lets resolve it! The same thing happens to another
character...ok...lets resolve it....IT JUST KEEPS GOING. EVERYONE HAS
THE SAME DILEMMA AND THEY ALL FIX IT THE SAME WAY.
I'm bored.

They had so much tension and then they rushed it and then it got
super slow and boring and all the tension was gone.
