Other Asian Dramas i’ve Watched

This was really fun. I liked the humor a lot and it had a good balance of humor and emotional moments. It was easy to watch despite being 30 eps and it progressed really well. I loved all the characters and they they were developed and showcased really well. I loved their dynamics between each other too. They did found family perfectly. Xiaowen and Gaoyang were shown to have a “brotherly” bond but I think it went way beyond that. This was made in 2005 so bromance and BL were not popular but they still managed to create this beautiful relationship. If this were made now they would 100% either be gay or implied gay. I think it was well done queercoding but that’s my opinion. Also spoilers: they are not brothers in any way. They had a great dynamic where they ended up being willing to do anything for one another and it was beautiful. I loved how they became friends and then just inseparable. This drama did everything well, visually good and entertaining and really funny. The emotional moments were good too they had me losing it. The only thing I didn’t like was how the ending played out, the last two episodes dragged on and felt over dramatic. He was an adult he could make his own choices. I’m glad they reunited but I wish we got more of them being happy at the end. Despite that it was still really good.
