I'm so glad she showed her claws and got her strength back. She is worthy of fighting for herself. And she knows it. As for the ML . . . I was initially thrown off by his carefree attitude about life, but he's got eagle eyes for schemes and seems content to work smartly in the shadows.

It's REALLY reminding me of Secret! Except it feels a little less like torture/trauma-porn. This FL has it rough, but not so rough that it feels unbearable, and she has a bit more of a spine and some tenacity.

I get that he doesn't seem to have any proof yet that he was forcibly drugged. But it just bothers me so much that he isn't telling his fellow officers what happened. Because he just looks SUPER guilty this way.

First off, love the bar and the whole concept attached to it! It feels very much like something I'd see in an odd but comforting, slice-of-life J-Drama.

Jira is a creative who's burnt out and down. Not down bad. Oh, no, not yet. Down desperate (for funds). And I liked how he pulled in and pulled back during his conversation with Ko. You could really see the gears working in his head measuring the value of his safety vs. money.

I swear Gun just gets better and better at his acting craft the more I see him. Because while I was lured in by Ko and his mysterious aura and (of course) want to see where he will lead Jira, I was just as taken with not only Pheem's charming smile and calming presence but the pull of chemistry between him and Jira.

I was right to be excited for this!

So far, it's quite smooth both in terms of pacing/cuts and our leads' wit/mouths! I like how cocky Jade is and how particular Inspector Kamin is, and the natural, friendly competitiveness between them. Makes for a good buddy cop type of dynamic, which is my jam!

Ji Sung, the actor that you are!!! He is the GOAT for a reason! He devours every role like he hasn't eaten for 2 years!

And, sure, he's a judge here, like in The Devil Judge, but not only is the storyline completely different, but his personality is as well! He's clever and resourceful and just a silly little psycho who will quote legal verbiage at you while sitting cross-legged on the floor looking at you with a big smile.

I'm looking forward to seeing him work to take down the corrupt!

A sad but also sweet start!

As expected, even with as silly a premise as this, First and Khao brought their A-game! I smiled, but also got close to tears multiple times in just this first episode.

Also, I love how warm the color palette is for this drama! Lots of oranges, yellows, and greens.

I'm looking forward to seeing how things progress more than I thought I would be!
