Available online. Seems like my type of drama.

"Bad Guys" was alright. I watched the "sequel" first, though one can barely call it a sequel as it works independently. The drama has only 11 eps but I was still a bit bored during some scenes and other bits of the story felt a bit wrong, they disappointed me. Furthermore, the FL seemed so unnecessary and her character is terrible. I really disliked her and despite her redemption in the end, I could not warm up to her. Nonetheless, the plot itself and the idea of the drama was great. I wish they had more spin-offs or seasons. I would recommend the drama; though, it is certainly not one of my favourite. Despite the aforementioned points and due to the fact that evidence seemed to be optional at parts, I liked the drama. I wanted to rate "Bad Guys" a 7/10, but due to the criminals in the team I am rating this a 7.5/10.

Really good drama set during the Sino-Japanese War. Yang Zi's character is bratty and spoiled in the beginning but quickly learns about responsibilities etc. I'd even consider this a family drama. But be careful: This drama is also a tearjerker. Go watch it though!

What a mess! I liked the idea of the story itself. It was funny and, honestly, refreshing. However, the whole love triangle (which is not mentioned in the tags) ruined it for me. The drama could have been an 8/10, but that love triangle toned it down to 6.5/8 for me.

Not a perfect drama but deffo recommendable! The chemistry between ML and FL is amazing! We all know the lead actors, and they DELIVERED! Go watch it now!

Netflix. According to reviews, this drama is healthy and makes one happy. Perfect as a break from thrillers then.

I really like this drama. It is certainly not perfect but deffo enjoyable! I absolutely love Chinese war dramas and this one did not disappoint (The "old" ones are an absolute blast; e.g Battle of Changsha, Arrow on the Bowstring and this one). I recommend this one to anyone who loves war dramas, if you don't, you won't enjoy this. The drama has many good characters in it, it just sometimes overdoes it on portraying the Japanese as super stupid (unfortunately, they were not bad in their military strategies). Also, the Germans were too easily impressed (unfortunately, they also were good at military strategy). Also, be careful, the first and the last two episodes of the drama have really bad English subtitles. I took it as a sign to learn Chinese but they could certainly be improved. This drama deserves more recognition (and Zhang Ruo Yun did a fantastic job, IMO). A well-deserved 8/10.

Viki. Police and action. Nice! Comedy... ah... not so much. Let's give it a try nevertheless.
