2020 Movies

I enjoyed this film quite a bit. There were some illogical and/or stupid parts in the film; however, zombies do not seem to be logical either. It is funny yet thrilling and if you like zombie-apocalypse films, you should give this one a try. I do not think that it is too scary, so maybe it is also a good one for scaredy cats.

Deliver Us From Evil is a good action film that I enjoyed watching. I don't quite understand the bad reviews on the film's page. Well, if you like action, you should deffo watch this one. For a second I was debating whether I should downrate the film to an 8/10 but I believe it deserves the additional 0.5 point. I believe the review published by peace_till_sunset accurately points out the film's strengths and weaknesses.

Okay, so... people say not to expect anything and to not compare it to "Train of Busan". Well, it plays in the same universe, so of course I am going in with expectations and comparison. I understand that the story is not directly related to the film; however, even when not comparing the film to "Train of Busan", "Peninsula" is kind of meh. The CGI was quite bad. Why do so many car scenes when they use bad CGI anyways. Other filmmakers can do with stunt personnel and car scenes, so why is this not the case here? Also, there were some instances that did not make sense or were too improbable. Anyhow, another factor that just bloody annoys me: There a zombies following you, your kids are in danger, blue helmets are not allowed to shoot and your bloody leg is shot, SO WHY ARE YOU STANDING THERE HUGGING AS IF YOU WON'T BE EATEN???? It is always the same. Apparently, the evil and the bad wait for the main characters to have their wholesome moment and continue their attack afterwards. Oh well, I rate this film a 6/10. It is watchable, but certainly no masterpiece. Whether you see this as a standalone or as a sequel to "Trains of Busan", it is disappointing and could have done better with better editing and writing.

The film was alright, I just could not get into it. It was thrilling but it all seemed so stupid. The whole heist was not well-planned and, well, they were not very clever with it. I was still rooting for them. Also, it seemed like everyone had like nine lives or so. Didn't make much sense. Deffo not one of my favourite films but not terrible either.
