Thai BL ranked

Pooh’s acting still lags far behind Pavel’s but it’s less noticeable here than in Pit Babe thanks to a better script. What doesn’t help is his styling, once again. The second couple is underwhelming and unnecessary. Everything else is stellar by Thai BL standards.

I knew this was not going to be my jam the moment one of the leads suddenly acted out of character in that sauna. I also couldn’t feel the spark between them, even during the NC scenes. I blame technical choices (perspective, music, scene pacing, etc.) that failed to build tension. The Magic Mike sequences looked surprisingly legit!

The director really said “fine, I’ll do it, but I won’t be happy about it”. There’s a duplicated line of dialogue one minute in, like…

Too trashy for me, but I commend the effort. Like, they finally painted a bruise that looks and fades like one!
