dramas I watched in 2025

watched: (1/26 — 1/29)

the leads had so much chemistry and had so many good kisses. also 2nd leads were so cute together juxtaposed to steaminess of the main leads. this drama was very easy to watch and had some good comedic moments as well.

i really liked the leads especially the female lead. the cinematography is a bonus too. it was an intesting way to deal with grief.

i really loved the vibes of this drama. I really like how this drama captures the noir cinematography.  I felt like the cases of the episodes were hits or misses for me,  although the plot twists were always very satisfying. I liked the leads together but they were undeveloped with the emphasis on the cases. It also felt a little rushed especially the last ep. the time traveling was so interesting but it was barely explored.

unfortunately I found this drama very boring. I really loved the older brother and the childhood friend. However i don't think i really connected with any of the leads or either of the romances. I feel like this screenwriter is not for me.

 this drama grew on me. at first i really did not like the male lead and his mother. some parts make me so uncomfortable like the mother's lack of privacy and the pregnancy stuff. I like how they subverted the infertile storyline i've never seen it done that way before. also i felt like the almost cheating is what fixed the leads more than the dating app plot twist.

I enjoyed this more than thought. it was a good thriller drama and seo kang joon did it so well. there could have been more romance in this drama though.

a very well written slice of life drama. so many amazing female characters and character journeys. i would say i preferred the first half with young adult ae sun & gwansik but i love seeing how the family evolves.

peak cinematography. i didn't care about the main couple as much as the secondary one. also the 2nd half was much better than the 1st. it was interesting how social media affected this drama on & off screen.

a very cinematic journey of grief and self acceptance. the leads have so much chemistry and the story has so much warmth and love. i love every character in this. i wish it was longer but the pacing in this drama was so good.

a very good suspenseful drama. the plot twist was so satisfying, i love unreliable narration. I also loved how the story was told non linearly and in reverse. the ending was slightly lacking for me but it didn't take it away from the rest of the drama.

a very endearing drama. this drama was essentially a love letter to mt fuji. the quirkiness and scifi genre was very fun and refreshing. I love how all the characters bonded with each other.

this drama really is a trust the process drama. I did not like how it was in the beginning but loved it in the end. the sci fi aspect turning it's a different genre was so wild and interesting. The plot twist is so satisfying and everything made so much sense. The whole time I didn't know what was real or not.

I love the slice of life genre and all the characters.  I do really like how it focused more on the maternal relationships over the romances. I adored the main couple but I also wished they had more scenes of the other romance because they grew a lot on me.

a cute but forgettable drama. i loved the word of honor director making word of honor references in this. especially the main character being styled like wen kexing.
