2026

Surpasses the majority of global fantasy dramas in terms of world and character building. Insanely creative.

This drama tried to be many things at once, but sadly failed at each one. The concept was interesting but the script needed to be refined further.

As far as mystery/thrillers go, this one was one of the best dramas in this genre I've watched in a while, and  it kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. The actors were also absolutely brilliant.

Perfect blend of mystery and romance.

Solid and enjoyable watch. There were some issues, mainly the pacing (which I experience in most Chinese drama, I think due to the longer format with most having 30+ episodes) and the development of  characters throughout, where I did not see significant changes. However, I still recommend.

A truly unique story, brought to life by brilliant actors. No cheesy, childish acting. By far the best Chinese drama I've watched thus far.

Fun, addictive watch. Seriously underrated.

Heartwarming slice of life type drama. However, was expecting to love it more.

ABH's performance made this drama ten times better.

Starting off with the good..fast-paced watch with likeable female lead. As for the bad stuff, I found the male lead fickle, unlikeable and dishonest. Her best friend was also very disloyal. I'm not usually rooting for the SML but I wanted them to end up together so much in this drama. They were perfect for each other.

A heartfelt story with a lot of soul.

Beautiful story. The acting was also superb. My first real hit of 2026 releases.

Started out so good..arghhh but it went downhill with each episode. The main leads were extremely two-dimensional and difficult to relate to and understand. The acting also felt stiff. It's a pity.

Would have been a hit in 2017, but in 2026 it feels a bit outdated. Wasted potential of both leads who are pretty good actors.

Engaging story, and the ML's are great actors. What truly tainted this drama was the SFL's performance. She simply cannot act and it is shocking that she is getting such big roles, when there are much better actors out there who have to be satisfied with guest appearances.

I didn't hate the FL as much as most people did but by mid-way through, her actions (or lack thereof) were annoying and frustrating. The love triangle was unnecessary, or at least it should have ended much earlier on.

Quite boring and the FL is unlikeable and very hard to relate to.

Binge-worthy drama. I couldn't stop watching. The chemistry between the leads was also really good in my opinion.

Fun, but the relationship between the two leads was not given the attention it deserved.

Way darker than expected.

Took me longer than I care to admit to understand the back story (lol), but eventually I got it. It was a deeply emotional story. Wished it was longer.

Confusing at times and in my opinion we did not get enough back story on the characters, so in the end they felt a bit two-dimensional.

Am I the only one who had high expectations for this? The budget (assuming) = huge, locations = beautiful, wardrobe = to die for, actors = top, story = ... needed more work.

Great acting from PJY (as per usual), however the story dragged a little and seemed to be missing something.

Grinning and giddy with excitement while watching each episode. They don't make 'em like this anymore, do they?

Fun, quick watch.

First Japanese drama of the year and it was cute.

Very fast paced and action packed. Also, Kim Young Kwang as Moon Baek...my goodness.

While my rating for this drama is pretty high and I genuinely enjoyed this drama, I do admit that considering the buzz around this, lead actors and massive budget, the script was overall very basic. There was potential for a better story.

What a fun ride! All leads were incredible as well. Loved it.

It took me a while to finish this, not because it was not beautiful, but it was so heavy. With each episode, I felt like I needed some time to think.

Tugs at your heart strings and action-packed. Rare combo. To all the people bringing up the problematic original source material: Did this have those problems? Let's focus on real problems.

My interest in this drama felt like a roller coaster of sorts. It slowly grew on me in the beginning but started to lose me in the last third. It had potential, but some of the characters' behaviour did not make much sense.

Kinda silly writing at times and I was not a fan of how the FL was portrayed, but Kim Young Kwang did his best with the script he was given.

Such a beautiful, painful story. The flow was slow but I still binged this over the weekend. Goes to show.

Solid thriller. Also, based on the comments section I now know I have become completely desensitised.

Cute but a little slow.

Amazing. Perfection. Right in the feels.

Brilliantly acted.

The story felt super rushed and kinda ridiculous at times, but it was still a fun watch.

On a BL kick, nobody stop me.

Watching this after The Prosecutor's Proposal and it was disappointing. Kinda cringe to be honest.

Poignantly beautiful. Stories about flawed and tragic characters are my absolute favourite. Now, I need a funny drama to take me out of this state.

The female lead is lovely, however I think she was miscast for this role. Also, again she looks lovely, but it is clear that she is not 37 years old but older. The script felt off at times as well. I would have preferred if they went in different directions at times. I also found her to be a better match with the SML. FL and ML felt more like best friends or siblings rather than romantic partners.

Kind of a snooze fest once the main couple got together. Also, in my opinion there was no spark between the two. It felt like I was watching a couple who's been married for 50 years..

PoJ took me well over 2 months to finish, not because it was uninteresting or bad, but because it was so intense. I admit the story was so intricate that it was intimidating at times. The costumes, the acting, the sets...so, so beautiful. Most beautiful of all was the story. Incredible. But I'm hardly saying anything new, am I?

Generous rating as there were too many issues going on. To name a few: actors too young to play their roles, cringy script at times, dubious characters (the more the story progressed the more I disliked the mains), the role of women as shields and beards (are we still doing this? yikes). The current rating of 8.6 is insane to me.

I need Season 2 asap!

Kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. I am a big fan of thrillers with dubious characters. It's extra fun when you're made to doubt whom you are rooting you, because it's always easy to root for the good guy...rooting for the guy with questionable morals is a more interesting and difficult task. The acting was superb as well! Been a while since I watched a good thriller like this one.

Fast paced with very likeable leads. No complaints.

Started off strong but lost momentum mid-way through.

A lot of action scenes, not enough explaining imo. But still very good.

I must admit that I preferred the first half of the drama when the episodes focused on the ghosts, however it was still an overall enjoyable watch.

Perfection, 10/10...cast, cinematography, dialogue.

Binged in a day. It was very fast paced and the story keeps you interested. I hope they don't take too long to release Season 2.

I have to admit that I was not expecting to like it as much as I did. I loved the time period, the costumes and the historical aspects. I can't wait to see more projects from both main leads.

Right in the feels!

I expected this drama to be more feisty, however it was super tame. Nonetheless, it was sweet seeing the ML's relationship progress.

Cute short story. Wish we got a better ending though.

When creators choose to opt for 12-episode formats, they in turn are required to condense the story more. In this drama, having the focus be on an additional 2 couples further to the main couple of the story and adding other various sub-plots to the mix is not a smart idea. While I did enjoy this in the beginning, it did occur to me near the end that these characters still felt so unknown and superficial to me. Do not recommend.

Cuteee, would have appreciated it more if I was watching it as a teenager.

Ultimately, while I appreciated the small-town charm, family dynamics, and the secondary couple (too cute!), the compounding annoyances—especially the FL's characterization (pick me behaviour, very childish, self-absorbed type) and the sluggish pacing really ruined the viewing experience for me. To top it all off, by end the writers thew other random events which were incredible stupid.

What was that? Totally caught me by surprise. My mind was blown. Best Thai drama I've watched by far.

I wish the emotion and family issues which were the focus of the last two episodes, were felt throughout the entire drama. Those two episodes left an impact but the rest were unfortunately very generic. Not the actors' fault. the script needed more work. This drama would have been great if I just started watching k-dramas, but by this point, it felt a bit overdone.

Started off very strong and I enjoyed the dynamic between all three leads. My only issue is this would have been better as a 16-episode drama instead of 12. The last 2 episodes felt rushed and very predictable. The first 10 episodes were such a fun ride though!

I went into this with very low expectations; the plot did not make sense, the acting was questionable..but the chemistry was there and it occasionally made me laugh. So in the end it was enjoyable.

Does not add much to the story, but it was sweet.

NuNew is such a cutie pie. I can't with him.

Interesting plot. Overall very fast-paced and addictive.

I'm just gonna pretend that the last few minutes do not exist. Ok? Ok.

Re-watch. In fact, so far this is the only Korean drama I've ever rewatched. Second time around, loved it as much. I love, love, love these characters and their stories with all my heart. Like, you don't understand how precious they are to me.

Started off SO good but lost steam when the ML's got together unfortunately.

Meaningful, beautiful story. Some lines will stay with me, but oh so painfully slow.

Reminded me of old school dramas. It was fun, although mid-way through the story seemed to rush. Would have preferred if this was 12 episodes instead. I think the pacing would have been slightly better.

I thought I was going to dislike the change of FL but I really, really like the new FL. I feel like she is better suited. Excited for S3! ABH was perfect as always.

Story would have been better in longer format. The actors were fantastic and conveyed their desires and emotions well, but I was not a fan of the ending.

Based on the title and the trailer, I thought this was going to be wild, but it was quite tame, especially when they started to get serious, the story started getting a bit dull.

Entertaining but slow at the end.

I still need to process the roller coaster that this show was. I started off with a lot of sympathy for our male and female leads. I did not understand their actions, but I did not particular feel that either of them was worse than the other one. Each person started growing fond of other people (don't come at me, I will die at the hill of believing that the ML started emotionally cheating first). Nonetheless, the bad decisions were made by both, so I blame both. Still, I was invested in their story. Then, somewhere along the EP11-12 mark, a switch flipped, I started to lose patience. At the end of it all, I feel like I wasted 14 hours of my life I will never get back.

Obsessed. It was such a fast-paced, heart-breaking drama.

Such a beautiful story. I wish people online appreciated it as it is rather than argue and wonder about the sexuality of the main leads. It is not even that relevant tbh.

Underwhelming, to say the least.

Oh my gosh, the chemistry between these two.

I love how wild and random this was. Also, the budget must have been insane! Are we getting S2? I hope so.

Kinda confusing at times, but I liked the originality of the story and the acting of both leads was really good.

Justice for Pheem! My god, he was the only likeable character of all of them. The leads truly deserved each other, never have I come across such selfish, self-absorbed individuals. Pheem was better off! Nonetheless, it was addictive and easy to consume.

OH MAAA GAWWDDD. Cut my heart out and send me to the hospital emergency room why don't you? The obsession, the anxiety, the stress, and the feels this drama is giving me is beyond anything I've watched in SO LONG. I just can't cope. I've never done drugs, but I'm pretty sure this is what it feels like, seriously.
