Maya's Japanese Drama List (Rating/Review Included)

My Review: This is such a cute show. Based on an anime/manga, this storyline is so sweet and screw the romance, the friendship between the main three girls is where its at. The genuine personality of the friendships and relationships make it worth watching. You just really want these three to be friends forever. Additionally, it is super relatable when it comes to high school friendships and relationships. 

Rewatch Worthy: Yeah, for a rainy day if you just want something comforting.

My Review: This is short drama and quick watch, so I do think it's worth it. It's really quirky and cute, something mind-numbing to watch. I'd watch these two in another drama, they have good chemistry.

Rewatch Worthy: Not really. I'm not going to seek it out again for anything in particular.

My Review: This is another drama that is exactly what you expect it to be, but with actual character growth for the FL. The ML, although a great actor, doesn't show as much growth, but does support the FL. The supporting cast is very fun though and keeps you entertained when there is a lull. The best part is that all the characters grow with their storylines and it makes for a good comfort show.

Rewatch Worthy: Maybe if you want something mindless, I'd maybe find a specific scenes.

My Review: This is a fun love triangle...which isn't a triangle at all. It's cute and funny, and that's all there is to it. I like the actress in this show, although she tends to be type cast in a specific role. 

Rewatch Worthy: No, there is nothing to go back for.

My Review: This was a pretty standard story line for a Asian drama in my opinion. In no way did anything really stand out to me, but I think that is what makes it really good. Anything that you guess will happen...happens. In a way, that's what I enjoyed about it. It's a really great comfort drama to watch if you need something simple to enjoy.

Rewatch Worthy: Maybe one day, but I don't know if its truly worth it.

My Review: Honestly, not sure what the point of this is. The main two characters are really good actors and can play a range of roles. I don't really think they have great chemistry, but they are there. Not much to comment about. Its a show.

Rewatch Worthy: Only because I've already forgotten everything about it, but I'm not trying to remind myself.

My Review: You have to be a certain type of person to truly understand and enjoy this show. If you aren't a person who watches BL, you won't get it. There is fine dynamic between the two characters and you need to understand the idea of BL and BL relationships to understand it. That being said, the chemistry between these two is SO GOOD, and I'd watch way more of them. I'd love a season two exploring more of the relationship.

Rewatch Worthy: Specific scenes or episodes, I mean...the relationship is *chef's kiss*

My Review: I thoroughly enjoyed this and would have LOVED for it to be longer. With more episodes and even seasons, the story really could have developed well, and I can sincerely see this cast getting huge as these characters. Everyone did a great job. It just really needed more than 5/6 episodes.

Rewatch Worthy: Maybe one day, if I just need something fun and quick to watch.
