  • A Korean Odyssey

    1. A Korean Odyssey

    Korean Drama - 2017, 20 episodes

    5.0

My Honest Review: I honestly only watched this show in the first place because I saw Seunggi and Hongki as part of the cast. A few episodes in, I knew that I was still watching because of the comic relief all the side characters provided. I like Seunggi, I think he's a good actor, but the way the two leads were the least interesting part of the show. The storyline did not give me motivation.  This was just a show.

Rewatch Worthy: As something on in the background maybe. I wouldn't seek it out.

  • At a Distance, Spring Is Green

    2. At a Distance, Spring Is Green

    Korean Drama - 2021, 12 episodes

    6.0

My Review: I watched this because I saw one clip from the show on Instagram. The acting in this show was truly great, award-winning, but nothing really kept me there expect for my need to finish the show. Park Jihoon, amazing actor, dude is underrated. Bae Inhyuk, easily a fav of mine, he can do nothing wrong in my eyes. The two of them are the only reason to watch this show.

Rewatch Worthy: No, it took too much out of me the first time, and honestly, other than the two main male leads, there is nothing that pulls me back.

  • Ball Boy Tactics

    3. Ball Boy Tactics

    Korean Drama - 2025, 8 episodes

    6.0

My Review: Another BL that just needs to be longerIt's good. The actors are cute, they have good chemistry, and the storyline is solid. However, there is so much potential for a better storyline. The characters, the relationships, everything could use with just...more. A solid BL, very cute.

Rewatch Worthy: Uh...not needed. I would watch this couple again in another show.

  • Backstreet Rookie

    4. Backstreet Rookie

    Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes

    4.0

My Review: It's a show. There isn't to say about this. Honestly, I watched it because my mom is a huge fan of Ji Changwook fan, and so I said I'd watch more of his shows. I love Kim Mingue, and no matter the role, he owns it, so its worth it for him. Honestly, this show did nothing for me. It was a romcom, and that's all I can say.

    Rewatch Worthy: No.

  • Behind Your Touch

    5. Behind Your Touch

    Korean Drama - 2023, 16 episodes

    5.0

My Review: The premise sounded great, and I didn't hate it. No hate to the actress, but the FL was annoying as HECK. Oh my goodness, I wanted to skip her scenes, but she was pretty much in every scene. Lee Minki is great though, and honestly, loved him a lot in this, he did a great job. You know who else did a great job? SUHO. KIM JOONMYUN, the actor he is! He played his role really well. I will say, they did keep me guessing as to who the killer was, so I'll give them that. But there was just an aspect to this that was so dumb, truly, that I thought about dropping the show almost every other episode.

Rewatch Worthy: Maybe one day, but I'm not going to seek it out.

  • Bossam: Steal the Fate

    6. Bossam: Steal the Fate

    Korean Drama - 2021, 20 episodes

    6.0

My Review: The show as a whole is good. It is SO SLOW. Each episode is lowkey agonizing and moves slowly, but the second half isn't too bad. It all does come together and the acting is good. Yuri and Ilwoo have good chemistry. It makes it harder to watch because the traditional Korean is very present and it doesn't click as well as modern Korean. If you like historical shows, and you're willing to work with the traditional Korean, then I'd recommend you give it a shot.

Rewatch Worthy: A great show, but it took so much out of me to watch it the first time, so that's a no from me dog.

  • Color Rush

    7. Color Rush

    Korean Drama - 2020, 8 episodes

    3.0

My Review: I was SO disappointed. I expected a lot more from Hwall (Heo Hyunjun). As someone who solely watched this for Hwall, I was disappointed. It is cute and the two leads do have chemistry, but it was rushed and not well developed. The storyline could have been better developed. But also, at this time, BLs didn't get the attention they needed. So, maybe if they tried again now, it could be better. I would give it another chance if they re-made it.

    Rewatch Worthy: No. Never.

  • Doom at Your Service

    8. Doom at Your Service

    Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes

    5.0

My Review: I watched it for Park Boyoung and Seo Inguk, and honestly, they kept me watching. Dawon and Soohyuk did steal my heart though. The show itself is pretty predictable though. It doesn't necessarily remark itself as unique. I think the only reason I really pushed through was Boyoung, Soohyuk and Inguk.

    Rewatch Worthy: Maybe, one day.

  • Hotel del Luna

    9. Hotel del Luna

    Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes

    8.0

My Review: I watched this show because my parents talked about it, which is not something I usually do. There was hype around it, and for the most part, it really lives up to the hype. It is one of the shows that really shows what K-Dramas do well. It has a little bit of everything. The acting was so good, I forgot they were actors. You get emotionally involved in every single character, even the cameos (which were also amazing). Truly deserves the title of one of the greatest K-dramas of all time. IU, P.O. and Jingoo are amazing actors and deserve their reputation as talented actors.

Rewatch Worthy: Yes, but it feels like a show you have to binge watch, so I'd need to take a day.

  • Lawless Lawyer

    10. Lawless Lawyer

    Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes

    8.0

My Review: This was a show I truly chose because of the storyline. It was also one of the first K-Dramas I ever fully watched, so it does hold a special place in my heart. Truly, this is one of those shows like HdL that has a little bit for everything. The romance isn't over bearing, and it takes a back seat to the plot, which I think is important. At no point does the plot lag, which I believe is hard to do in a show. There are some twists that are predictable, one that isn't so predictable. This is the kind of show you watch when you're new to K-Dramas and you want to understand why people are obsessed with them.

Rewatch Worthy: Yes, always, 100%. Will always be willing to rewatch it, both thoroughly and skipping around.

*The remakes aren't as great, don't bother.

  • Light on Me

    11. Light on Me

    Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes

    6.0

My Review: This is a great show for a first time BL watcher. It is easy, and in some ways, kind of boring (not in a bad way). It is an every day, coming of age, friendship-oriented show, and that is easy to watch without feeling overwhelmed by the fact that it is a BL show. It's a sweet show and the main leads do a good job with what they are given to work with. As one of the earlier BLs in the Korean Industry, it truly earns its place as a trailblazer.

    Rewatch Worthy: One day, maybe.

  • Love Alarm

    12. Love Alarm

    Korean Drama - 2019, 8 episodes

    4.0

My Review: I mean...it's a show. The first season was painful to get through, but I just felt the need to go through. If I could skip the first season, I would, but unfortunately you have to watch the first one to understand the second one. I literally just watched the second season for Jung Garam, and even then it didn't feel worth it. I truly felt like I lost time of my life watching this, and I wish I didn't bother.

Rewatch Worthy: No, literally not at all. Even Jung Garam isn't enough for that.

  • Memorist

    13. Memorist

    Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes

    6.0

My Review: Another show that I watched because I love a good crime, thriller, mystery. It's a good show if you need something interesting to watch. Every thing does seem predictable, but it doesn't take away from the thriller and mystery aspect of the show. None of the characters truly pull you in, it is a show you watch for the story, not the acting.

Rewatch Worthy: When I need a good show to focus on that isn't too emotionally draining, this is a good one to get into.

  • Move to Heaven

    14. Move to Heaven

    Korean Drama - 2021, 10 episodes

    9.0

My Review: This show is devastating in an amazing way. I cried every single episode. That's my warning for you. If you cry easily, you will sob everyone episode. The premise of the show itself is quite intense, but the acting is so beautiful. Although each episode is individual story lines, it feels like you get their whole story each time, and to me that was what really pushed me through. Lee Jehoon and Tang Junsang carry the show on their backs and I think that is what makes it even more devastating, in a beautiful way. Every single character, even the 1 episode characters, just bring each story to life.

Rewatch Worthy: I can't bring myself to. I cried so much the first time. One day, I will sit down and watch it again.

  • My Bias Is Showing?!

    15. My Bias Is Showing?!

    Korean Drama - 2025, 10 episodes

    6.5

My Review: I am surprised to say that I actually really liked this. For the first time, I felt like this BL wasn't too short. It really delivered on what the premise was, and played into all the tropes in a non-cringey way. The two leads did have chemistry, and I didn't feel like there were any gaps in the story. I was surprisingly pleased that it didn't need to be stretched out.

Rewatch Worthy: I would, eventually. A quick show to just binge.

  • My ID Is Gangnam Beauty

    16. My ID Is Gangnam Beauty

    Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes

    6.0

My Review: I didn't think I would enjoy this show, but I did. I mean, it is pretty much exactly what you think it is, but with substance.  There really is a moral to the story, that isn't a high and mighty moral, it's a very normal and regular moral to the story. There is nothing special to this, at all. No one stands out, or nothing about the show puts it above the rest, but it still works.

Rewatch Worthy: I have a couple of times, I like to skip through it.

  • My Name

    17. My Name

    Korean Drama - 2021, 8 episodes

    8.0

My Review: I could rewatch this show at least once a month if I wanted to. Even knowing how it ends, I am always on the edge of my seat throughout the show. The acting is phenomenal. There is no good and bad, black and white, hero and villain, in this. It is all gray area and that is what keeps you interested. You think you know everything, but then you don't, and the end you don't even care. In a way, there is nothing unique about the story line. It's been told before, but the ACTING IS TOP TIER. The men?!?!? Yo, watch for the men. They are BEAUTIFUL, and talented...I guess. Sohee is also sexy and badass in this, so watch for her too.

Rewatch Worthy: When I just need to escape and bury myself in a drama, this is it. I rewatch it at least once a year I think.

  • My Roommate Is a Gumiho

    18. My Roommate Is a Gumiho

    Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes

    7.0

My Review: Another show where it is nothing unique, its a story that has been told before and you know how its going to go. However, it is funny as hell. This is what I want from romantic comedy. The romance is there, but it isn't the primary genre you get. It's funny and you will laugh. The perfect feel good show, where every character's storyline brings something to the show. Hyeri and Kiyong don't have shining chemistry, but they still do a great job.

Rewatch Worthy: Literally always, I think I rewatch it at least once a year. Whether I'm skipping around or going minute to minute, I always enjoy it.

  • Mystic Pop-Up Bar

    19. Mystic Pop-Up Bar

    Korean Drama - 2020, 12 episodes

    6.0

My Review: It feels like another version of Hotel del Luna, but more family centered. I felt like I was watching...diluted? version of HdL. However, I got very emotionally invested in the lead characters. The leads are also older, and that just takes away so much of the unnecessary drama. Sungjae is a cutie, and a loser. He is so great, he's the reason I started watching it, but I definitely stayed for the main leads.

Rewatch Worthy: I need to find the right time, I don't know why I haven't yet, but I remember crying so...

  • Our Dating Sim

    20. Our Dating Sim

    Korean Drama - 2023, 8 episodes

    5.0

My Review: It is very cute. The leads are very cute. There isn't much else to say. Like all other Korean BLs, I wish it was longer because we could really use a properly developed plot and characters.

Rewatch Worthy: No. There is nothing for me to go back to.

  • Peach Trap

    21. Peach Trap

    Korean Drama - 2025, 8 episodes

    4.5

My Review: It is a show. Another BL that moved too fast. However, the characters were so so good. Jung Subin, my son, he was so good. They all did a great job, and I'd love to see all the pairings again in another show.

    Rewatch Worthy: Not really.

  • Possessed

    22. Possessed

    Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes

    5.0

My Review: This is intense. Not for the faint of heart, if you can't handle horror, gore, or death, please don't watch it. It starts of slow and a little hard to get into, but if you push yourself through, it brings you in. You involuntarily become invested and let me tell you, these characters are worth getting invested in. I will tell you know that I cried. Pretty much the entire second half of the show. THIS IS INTENSE.

Rewatch Worthy: I can't. I truly cannot. It was just too much the first time.

  • Reply 1997

    23. Reply 1997

    Korean Drama - 2012, 16 episodes

    5.5

My Review: I wasn't sure about this, because it was so hyped up. After watching, I kind of get it. Eunji and Inguk are so good. In fact, everyone is so good. The storyline leaves much to be desired, but they acting is just on a whole new level. I truly only watched it for the characters.

Rewatch Worthy: Like maybe the last three episodes or something. Not the whole thing, that feels like too much.

  • Secret Relationships

    24. Secret Relationships

    Korean Drama - 2025, 8 episodes

    8.0

My Review: I don't know how to explain how strongly I feel about this show. If it had seasons, this could easily be one of the greatest Korean BLs ever made. Each character was so well developed and written, and the actors did justice to their roles. It really does highlight toxic and unhealthy relationships. However, the chemistry was on fire. I don't know how, but Junseo had amazing chemistry with each guy. There was room for character development and more backstory build up, but that's because it was short. It was so good, though.

Rewatch Worthy: Heck yeah, I would rewatch it.

  • Semantic Error

    25. Semantic Error

    Korean Drama - 2022, 8 episodes

    6.0

My Review: As someone who actually read the webtoon, I think Seoham and Jaechan did justice to these characters. Like any other BL, I wish it was longer and developed more. However, what they had, I was pleased and it lives up to the hype.

Rewatch Worthy: I don't need to, but maybe one day.

  • A Shoulder to Cry On

    26. A Shoulder to Cry On

    Korean Drama - 2023, 7 episodes

    4.0

My Review: As a fan of Omega X, I enjoyed it, and I think both boys are great actors. The story itself leaves a lot to be desired, and there just isn't much to come back for. It's cute, but that's it.

    Rewatch Worthy: Not really.

  • Strong Girl Bong Soon

    27. Strong Girl Bong Soon

    Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes

    8.0

My Review: This is one of my favorite K-dramas of all time. Even with the human trash that is Kim Jisoo, who unfortunately is an amazing actor. Much like HdL and Lawless Lawyer, it is one of the prime examples of what K-dramas do right, and I love it. It is pure enjoyment and entertainment. It has a little bit of everything, and Boyoung and Hyungsik have great chemistry. I am a big fan of all the characters and storylines. Once again, screw Kim Jisoo, but he is good in this.

Rewatch Worthy: Always, I rewatch it maybe once or twice a year. Its such a fun show, super worth it every time.

  • Taxi Driver

    28. Taxi Driver

    Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes

    8.0

My Review: Look, I love Lee Jehoon. I think he is fantastic, and it is just further proved in this show. Not only does he play his own character brilliantly, but also all the other characters in the show he has to take on. He is just truly so talented, and I would watch the show just for him. Luckily, the whole show has a great storyline, great characters, and is worth it. Every episode keeps you hooked and interested.

Rewatch Worthy: Always, especially when they release a new season.

  • Taxi Driver Season 2

    29. Taxi Driver Season 2

    Korean Drama - 2023, 16 episodes

    7.5

My Review: It wasn't as good as the first season, but it was still great. As a continuation, it did live up to the hype and brilliance that was the first season. The continuity was very well done, and doesn't get boring.

Rewatch Worthy: Always, will rewatch whenever there is a new season.

  • Tell Me What You Saw

    30. Tell Me What You Saw

    Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes

    8.0

    Genre/Warnings: Crime, Thriller, Mystery.
    *Trigger Warning: Death, Killing, Violence.*

Quick Summary: Three very different officers of the law work together to follow the murders of a serial killer who has tortured two of them for years.

My Review: I love this show so much. I could rewatch this on a monthly basis. It is exactly what I wanted from crime thriller. There is nothing to distract from what the main characters need to do. The acting is on point. My girl, Sooyoung, is SO GOOD. Honestly, despite the fact that I love it, I don't have much to say. I just truly enjoy this show every time I watch it.

Rewatch Worthy: At least once a year, for sure. I love getting lost in this on an annual basis.

    Where to Watch: Viki, Tubi.

  • The Eighth Sense

    31. The Eighth Sense

    Korean Drama - 2023, 10 episodes

    6.0

My Review: I don't know how to explain it, but there is something about this show. The chemistry was shockingly amazing. I was surprised by how invested I got into the show and its characters. Although, yes, it does need to be longer and fleshed out. It seriously would change the game if this was longer and developed more. I am still very pleased with the characters, story and the chemistry.

Rewatch Worthy:  Not yet, but eventually, yes.

  • The Ghost Detective

    32. The Ghost Detective

    Korean Drama - 2018, 32 episodes

    4.0

My Review: As someone who really likes Park Eunbin, she is great in this, but the show isn't worth it. It is exactly what you think it is. Any one of us could have written this. Nothing particularly stands out, and I was disappointed. Eunbin did the best she could with a show like this.

Rewatch Worthy: Nothing really makes me want to go back to it.

  • The K2

    33. The K2

    Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes

    6.0

My Review: How do I explain that this show isn't great, but at the same time, is one of the must-watch K-dramas. It has everything that a K-drama does well, but isn't one of the best dramas. Ji Changwook, Song Yoonah, and Cho Seongha really carry the show. For what I know Lim Yoona can do, this was a waste of her talents. The storyline was boring and predictable, but, as I said, it is what K-dramas do right. It is a must watch K-drama.

Rewatch Worthy: I do skip through it and really just watch the second half maybe once or twice a year. Its just a classic and mindless to watch every once in a while.

  • Tomorrow

    34. Tomorrow

    Korean Drama - 2022, 16 episodes

    7.0

My Review: The main premise of this show is about su!c1de, so this is not for the faint of heart. I did, in fact, cry almost every episode. It is heavy, however, it is also...funny. Rowoon is actually kind of the comic relief. Its a really good show. I would recommend it. The cast is really good and they all do a great job. There is an over arching storyline that is heart wrenching, but worth it.

Rewatch Worthy: Maybe too emotional to rewatch. It would have to be when I'm mentally ready to drain my tear ducts of all the liquid in them.

  • Touch Your Heart

    35. Touch Your Heart

    Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes

    4.0

My Review: This was purely self-indulgent for the Dongwook and Inna fans from Goblin, so let's just get that out there. This is a show. It's a cute show, but it's just a show. It is exactly what you think it is. The story happens exactly how you think it will. Not to say that Dongwook and Inna aren't absoutely adorable and great in their roles. Actually, I think Dongwook proves how good of a actor he is here.

Rewatch Worthy: No, there is nothing to come back for.

  • Vagabond

    36. Vagabond

    Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes

    6.0

My Review: This is quite devastating at the beginning, but anyways...this is a good show. If you like action, drama, and politics, in a style that is very Hollywood, this is a great show. The ending is good, but only if you truly understand what's happening. It is such an abrupt ending, that final episode kind of lets down the entire show. When I rewatch the ending, I finally realize what they are trying to do, which is very clever, but during the first watch, it feels like a drop. However, Seunggi is an amazing actor and so is Sungrok.

Rewatch Worthy: I was so dissatisfied by the ending that I cannot bring myself to watch it at all.

  • Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo

    37. Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo

    Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes

    7.0

My Review: If there was ever a show that lived up to the hype it gets, it is this one. It is easily one of the most entertaining K-dramas ever made. The chemistry, the acting, the storylines, everything just works. Everything makes sense and just feels good to watch. It's funny, sad, hilarious, romantic, relatable, and it does justice to the genre.

Rewatch Worthy: I often watch random scenes, but not really the whole show unless I feel the need.

  • When the Phone Rings

    38. When the Phone Rings

    Korean Drama - 2024, 12 episodes

    6.5

My Review: I watched it because I like both Yoo Yoonseok and Chae Soobin, and I kept watching it because I truly felt like it would have bothered me if I didn't get all the answers. It has a good storyline and it does keep you guessing, while at the same time knowing what the characters don't. Both couples have good chemistry. The ending is good, like the final part. However, the story takes weird turns some times, so you have to be prepared for that.

Rewatch Worthy: I'm not dying to...maybe after a year to remind myself why I love Yoo Yoonseok.

  • XX

    39. XX

    Korean Drama - 2020, 10 episodes

    4.0

My Review: I watched it for Hani, and I stayed because it was a short show. Hani, Inhyuk and Jongwon do a great job. It's a pretty simple and boring, frankly, storyline. I wouldn't seek it out again. The acting was good, and the story moved organically, but it isn't worth seeking out. The soundtrack is GREAT.

Rewatch Worthy: Not at all, never. It has my Hani and Inhyuk, but not even for them.
