Bromance/BL subtext

TYPE:  implicitly romantic (originally announced as BL)

COMMENT:  This is super duper cute. I adore the "found family" trope but it can be difficult to find a good drama with this trope and BL/bromance contents. Sometimes the bromance slowly became more like a brotherhood, but that's definitively not the case. It's a typical chinese bromance: a censored BL (with some censored  GL contents as well) with even an happy ending.

COMMENT:  I can't believe it is over. I will miss this show so bad - and I'm not even satisfied with the ending (can't wait for the movie). However, I started watching it because of the bromance: I've heard multiple times that the two MLs had a lot of chemistry even outside of the set, but the  "confession" in ep 28 caught me off guard. At this point, this is basically a BL ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و  Anyway, it's such a good drama, with a quite dark and, somehow, mature plot. I tought it would get boring but it definitively didn't.

COMMENT:  Quite short drama with an interesting plot based on sci-fi elements. I watched some random clips from it and it got my attention immediately. The bromance is so strong that they always win using the power of "friendship" (not even brainwashing could make him forget about the love of his life); the drama is quite funny as well: the first episodes are mostly based on comical and ambiguous situation. Then it became a bit darker, but just because the plot itself is quite sad.

COMMENT:  Very short drama with an unpredictable (almost comical) plot and handsome people in very unpractical outfits A beauty influencer is persuaded by his fans to go undercover in face masks lab to study their "recepies" and he mets someone special. I can't say anything else since it would be a spoiler: the drama is just an advertising for a face mask but with a BL subtext. The best part when the song  "Shut up my moms calling" starts casually playing in the background.

COMMENT:  It's incredible how they used the most common plot twist ever but I couldn't guess who the culprit was. This is a typical chinese investigative bromance, where the actual focus is not on people dying but on the MLs getting closer and closer (against their own will). Keep in mind that only on some platforms the drama is NOT complete, and you might miss a very important event in the ending.

COMMENT: This is...very confusing. The subtitles aren't good and most of the time it has been difficult to understand what was happening. But the ending is the most confused part: did they went back in the past? I mean, but can they change the future in this way? I have so many questions.

COMMENT:  Well, this explain a lot. You need to watch this season as well to understand most of the plot, but I would say it isn't necessary to watch the first one to understand the second. Even if the characters are the same, this have a self conclusing plot, but with an open ending, at least in my opinion. Maybe they are already thinking about season 3.

COMMENT: Short movie about a hearing-impaired guy with an heartwarming plot. There's a little bit of bromance (mostly in the ending since they are enemies for most of the movie).

COMMENT: I'm used to low budget chinese dramas: I don't really care about bad sound quality and things like this,  but some dramatic scenes in this one were involuntary funny due to the poor directing work and weird acting. However, the chemistry between the MLs saved everything. They are clearly in love: they should be enemies but, beside one fight at the start, they are super sweet with each other. Unfortunately, the subtitles are very bad, so the plot isn't clear at all (I still don't understand why he hit him with the bottle).

COMMENT: Wow this drama was so weird! The plot is quite complex,  difficult to understand at first: there are some people who are almost zombies, people with superpowers, people with unknown desease and normal humans. And all of this in a universe where the police officers flirt with each other most of the time. This drama isn't exactly a BL but it's quite close: the MLs have a lot of chemistry, most of their interactions are lowkey romantic (they even end up living together) and some side characters are gay. The ending ,unfortunately, is just a cliffhanger for the second season.

COMMENT: This drama is full of plot twists. You'll never guess what's going to happen. The story revolvs around an unexpected alliance between a rookie and a thief who becames his mentor by helping him to catch criminals. Just like a lot of other similar dramas, it's based on self-contained episodes all connected with a subplot. The cases are interesting: most of the time, they already know who the culprit is, but they need proof. All the characters are unique, and the bromance between the MLs is well-written, intensifying in the end.

COMMENT: Sad, tragic, depressing and beautiful. I really really hoped for an happy ending.

COMMENT:  Short, low budget drama with an heartwarming plot completely based on misunderstandings. I'm not sure if this should be classified as BL because there's a "confession" scene but the subtitles I could find weren't that accurate.

COMMENT:  Short drama with a very complex plot. This first season is the most boring one (in my opinion) but it gets way more interesting after.

COMMENT:  The plot starts getting more interesting and the characters more complex. And there's an unexpected secondary couple.

COMMENT:  Things get more messed up and a lot of plot holes get "filled". The endng is , again, a cliffhanger.
