Best On-screen Chemistry

Ni Ni and Chen Kun

Their chemistry in this drama was captivating. Could be any genre with them together again and I'd watch it. But obviously I'd love another romance, maybe a modern. 

Bai Lu and Luo Yunxi

I enjoyed their chemistry in both Love is Sweet and Till the End of the Moon, but Love is Sweet showcases it the best (even if I didn't love the drama that much). 

Jung So-min and Seo In-guk

They have a comfortable, "we just met but I feel like I've known you my whole life", intimate type of chemistry.  

I guess they have a cameo in a different drama, but I'd love another one with them as the leads.  

Peng Xiaoran and Chen Xingxu

They play both the sweet moments and the heartbreaking moments so well together. It seems like we may never get to see them act together again but I'll always be hoping...

Jang Na-ra and Jang Hyuk

Omg!! I've only watched them in this drama but apparently they have two other dramas and a movie together. Regardless, would love to see them in more dramas together lol. 

Their eye acting chemistry alone is better than most other pairings chemistry. 

Jing Tian and Xu Kai

Another great eye acting chemistry pairing lol! It's as if they're having entire conversations just by looking at each other. I'd love to see them in a modern drama. 

Ahn Eun-jin and Namkoong Min

The yearning was on a whole other level with these two! Their chemistry really elevated what was already a beautifully written and deeply emotional love story.

Zhang Jingyi and Chen Feiyu

I need to do a rewatch, but I do remember them having a very comfortable chemistry together.

Song Hye-kyo and Zo In-sung

They were kind of perfect in TWTWB so I don't know if anything could top it, but I'd love to see them together again now that it's been twelve years.

Yang Zi and Zhang Wanyi

The longing and the heartbreak!! I actually shipped Xiao Yao/Tushan Jing the most, but I also really loved whenever Yang Zi and Zhang Wanyi were on the screen together. It'd be fun to see them as the main romance or something with a similar intensity to what Lost You Forever had. 

Song Yi and Cheng Lei

They had such a sweet and comfortable chemistry. 

Lin Yun and Fang Yilun

I rarely enjoy a historical romcom, but their comedic timing together was perfect, and their romantic chemistry was great as well. Both are in Whispers of Fate, but I'm unsure if they have any scenes together. 

Sun Zhenni and Zhang Binbin

Also need to rewatch this one, but I do remember them working really well together. 

Lee Se-young and Sakaguchi Kentaro

Another angsty drama with lots of longing but more episodes this time would be perfect.

Lu Yuxiao and Hou Minghao

I think a modern drama is a must at this point! 

Guan Chang and Li Jiulin

This drama was..something lol! But their chemistry was great. 

Kim Ji-won and Son Suk-ku

I didn't really enjoy this drama, but their chemistry was so good! I would love to see them in a drama that I actually liked. 

The entire cast of Fangs of Fortune is so dear to me :') 

I would watch any combination of the cast working together again. I know Chen Duling and Tian Jiarui are both in Veil of Shadows and Hou Minghao and Xu Zhenxuan are both in Immortalis.  Hopefully there will be more reunions in the future. 

Fang Jin and Cui Yuxin

Technically haven't finished this drama and I'm not sure if I'll come back to it, but the chemistry between these two is really good. Some of the best, if not the best, kissing scenes in any drama that I've watched.

Yu Shuxin and Wang Hedi

The perfect grumpy/sunshine chemistry! 

I don't necessarily need another drama with them but their chemistry has to be mentioned.

Zhao Jinmai and Zhang Linghe

They've done two dramas together, Our Generation was the only one I finished (and loved). I don't need another drama with them either, but I'd still love to see them together again. 

Yoon Eun-hye and Gong Yoo

Their chemistry felt very authentic. This is another one that I don't need another drama with them, but their chemistry was still worth mentioning. 

Megan Lai and Baron Chen

They look like they have so much fun together both on and off screen. Another one that I don't need another drama but wouldn't mind if they did another one. 

Higuchi Hina and Ikeda Masashi

Zhao Jinmai and Wu Lei

I stuck with this drama longer than I normally would've before dropping it because the chemistry between these two was so good! Would love to see them in a drama with better writing.

Honorable Mention

IU and Lee Sun-kyun 

So much of this drama was conveyed through the unspoken dialogue between characters. It wouldn't have been nearly as successful without these two working so well together. Unfortunately, there won't be a reunion due to the passing of Lee Sun-kyun.

Gong Jun and Zhang Zhehan

The highlight of this drama was their grumpy/sunshine (who can also be a grump sometimes lol) dynamic. There won't be a reunion though due to Zhang Zhehan being blacklisted.

Yuan Bingyan and Cheng Yi

A devoted battle couple with great chemistry. But there won't be a reunion because Yuan Bingyan has been blacklisted.
