I watched the 2017 American adaptation (first 5 out of all 7 seasons) first and enjoyed it. Wanted to see the original 2013 Korean version to compare.
This Kdrama is quite different from its US counterpart and, after watching both, I don't think we can really compare the 2 shows.
I appreciated the Korean version as well, especially the ML beautiful sensitivity, kindness and empathy, but quite a few aspects of this original version shocked me or made me cringe.

This was my 1st EVER Asian Reality TV-show (I cannot stand Western Reality TV)... and I LOVED it !
This show was just wholesome. I grew so attached to these 9 wonderful individuals.
My only regret is that the show was so short (10 episodes of 40-45 minutes each).

I overall enjoyed this Thaï BL-drama even though the acting was sometimes a bit uneven and some scenes/storylines were unnecessarily and badly exaggerated for dramatic effect.

The 2 main protagonists are adorable but I personally don't understand why, when they're finally and officially a couple, "Pran" continues to act affectionately shy/prude towards "Pat" while it is "Pran" who was originally (secretly) in love. Why keep being physically so distant to the one you loved all along when he finally loves you back ?

Am I the only one thinking the appearance of godzilla was ridiculous (that small head) and its regeneration/recovery completely laughable ? Or am I simply NOT a monster/dinosaur-type person ?

The special effects were quite impressive and all the actors were very talented. I personally was disappointed we didn't learn more about them and their backstories as godzilla being the main character (hence the title) of this movie.

The acting cast is quite talented but the lack of budget of some important scenes is definitely distracting me from the plot. Speaking of plot, I find the original storyline trajectory keeps diverging. Maybe it's me...
I'm currently halfway through and I'm getting impatient by the seemingly secundary plotlines. I need the 2 main leads to have more screentime together. So far, their chemistry is underuse.

This looooong Taiwanese drama has aged too much for me.
I'm usually a sucker for slow burn romance but this one was soooo slow. 

The drama had lovely emotional bits, sadly lost between long moments of supposedly comical and clichéd scenes. The 2 leads and the child actress were good. This main trio had great chemistry but the rest of the ensemble cast acted so-so.
The "cherry-on-top" for me was the constant unbearable background music (which was often way too loud or not necessary at all) that cheapened the whole show.

Well filmed. Good acting. But nothing new or out of the ordinary.

What a lovely little Cdrama it was ! It gave me the same cosy and sweet vibes as "Our Secret" and "When I Fly Towards You".
Some emotional scenes were sadly cut short and the last few episodes felt a bit rushed but the first 2/3 of the series were almost perfect.
Feeling a bit sad to let these young characters go...

PS: was I the only one distracted by the FL's different BAD haircuts/hairdos ???

I was really looking forward to this "No Gain No Love" Spin-Off as I loved that second lead couple -their chemistry is adorable- but this short miniseries was disappointing.

The main actors are very talented and it's nice seeing them play together again but the transmigration fantasy context (inside a book) wasn't something I was particularly interested in. It was well-made but that was it. The only thing I really enjoyed was the fun BTS compilation after the final credits.

I couldn't go on. This Taiwanese series from 2011 has aged too much for me. Even the cinematography felt dated.

The main leads were good, the main couple had great chemistry and the first few episodes were interesting but then the unnecessary (and badly developed) additional sidestories resulted in the main plot faltering in the second half. Also, most of the comedic scenes were quite childish/stupid and overplayed.
This series could/should have been shorter and smarter.

This BL series was SO good and SO well acted by the lead actors.
The cinematography (the lighting and colours, especially) and the angst (unsaid words, looks, touch...) were top-notch.
I liked how the story was very focused but found it way too short (1hr 20min). Some scenes between the 2 main leads could have been added for character build-up -these talented actors' chemistry deserved more scenes together- and the end could also have been better developed/less rushed.
PS: The comic relief of the girl's mother was a nice welcome touch.

A very cute, but WAY TOO short, mini Kdrama BL with 2 talented young actors. Such a sweet little gem !

I was so excited to start this Cdrama as I usually love a slow burn romance. Unfortunately, this series was quite disappointing.

It started well: good acting, good premise, good pace.
Certainly cute at the beginning, the constant misunderstandings between the 2 MLs became excessive. This mainly ruined the overall pace of the show as the episodes started to get quite repetitive, overly slow and, sadly, uninteresting. And when the 2 MLs finally get together, they keep failing at communicating properly (I don't remember them once really talking honestly to each other). Regrettably, from then on, the unnecessary subplots didn't add any value to the rest of their story.
This series could have been smartly wrap up in 12 episodes which would have been way better.

For some reason, as the show progressed, I also started to appreciate the endearing ML more and the FL (a lot) less. She had the most unnerving attitude towards the ML during the whole drama.
Am I the only one who thought they had barely anything in common ? At some point, I even found the SECOND main couple much more interesting and emotionally connected as their characters developped.

By the way, the FL's mother kept getting on my nerves until the very end. Such an overbearing and borderline inappropriate character !

Despite the good performance of the cast (against such a weak plot), I personally thought this series lacked the charm of other similar Cdramas like "Hidden Love", "When I Fly Towards You", "My Secret" and "Wait, My Youth".
