2. Caged Again
Thai Drama - 2024, 10 episodes
The story may not be perfect, but it’s surprisingly entertaining. It is light, fun, and despite the bizarre premise, it turned out to be much better than I expected. It’s one of those guilty pleasure dramas where the actors really deliver, with fantastic chemistry between them, especially considering the limited budget. Junior was such a mood and drama. The sass was unmatched. Sun as the tsundere panther did a great job too!
As for the editing and CGI, they weren’t the best, but they didn’t take away from the overall enjoyment. Hoping to see actors in other series!
I wasn't the target audience but somehow I was sat here for 10 weeks! ?
Overall, a good watch! -
3. A Piece of Your Mind
Korean Drama - 2020, 12 episodes
This was an emotional watch about love, loss and healing. Both the leads had their own individual journey. Han Seo Woo was super empathetic and came off as very wise. SooBin did an excellent job. She was almost perfect! While Ha Won’s growth and healing from his past added a really special touch to their connection.
But after episode 9, the show kinda loses its flow and the ending feels way too rushed and unresolved. The show’s quieter, deeper moments are what made it shine on the first half, but the faster pace towards the end kinda undermined it , leaving some plotlines feeling unfinished.
Overall, it's the slow, thoughtful storytelling that makes it worth watching, but it gets lost in the rush to finish everything up. -

7. Imawa no Kuni no Alice
Japanese Drama - 2020, 8 episodes
Ohh what a ride this was! The story keeps surprising you. I never saw some of the twists coming especially the way certain events unfold. It’s not what I expected at all and that’s part of what makes it so gripping.
The pacing and twists have been insane. I did not expect them to go in the direction they did . I thought they might leave one or two behind but the way it all went down hit me out of nowhere. I was just sitting there like, “Wait, what?!”
My only complaint was that I wish we got a little more background on the characters and their backstories. The show is so fast-paced that we don’t dive too deep into their stories and while I get why, it would've made sob harder if we knew more.
But overall, an entertaining watch that keeps you hooked till the end!

13. Moonlight Mystique
Chinese Drama - 2025, 40 episodes
Can fancy costumes and CGI really save a drama when the plot is weak? Honestly, not in this case.
The story felt one-dimensional, I could kind of predict what was going to happen. It just didn’t draw me in emotionally and I didn’t really care whether the characters lived or died except for the SFL. She is what made me watch till the end ( also my NDD ?)
This drama had a huge budget, but it didn’t quite translate it to the screen. The shots felt awkward and choppy. And the CGI? well, it was everywhere, and not in a good way. It’s like they spent all their money on special effects and forgot about the storytelling.
The cast looked solid on paper, but the execution just didn’t hit the mark. The chemistry between the actors was definitely there, but instead of diving deeper, they leaned way too hard into the most basic, predictable tropes especially towards the end. It felt like they played it safe.
I hate to be harsh because I went in with high expectations, but this one ended up being a bit of a letdown. The potential was there, but it just didn’t deliver the way I hoped. -

16. Blossom
Chinese Drama - 2024, 34 episodes
What started as a fast-paced, engaging drama ultimately lost me in the last 10 episodes. The pace became uneven and the cinderella-esque stepmother and oblivious father dynamics felt a bit overused and too much for my liking.
While the chemistry between the leads was undeniable, I felt that their screen time in the first half was overshadowed by the other arc which didn't feel necessary to me or could have been cut short. The way the previous episode's unresolved storylines kept repeating didn’t help either.
Despite the flaws, the drama was still an enjoyable watch, especially for its strong lead character dynamics and engaging early episodes.
Overall while it’s still a good watch, it started off much stronger than it concluded. -

Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
What worked for me :
The sismance was so entertaining and was the backbone of this drama. Thoroughly enjoyed the enemies to friends trope and it was done perfectly!
The chemistry between the leads Park Morgan and TaMi was cute. But Scarlett and Jiwan stole the show for me despite their less screen time.
The opening OST "show you a bad girl" was amazing! Going straight to my favorites!
What Didn't Work For Me:
The love stories started as interesting and refreshing but soon fell the cliche patterns. I’m not a fan of the breakup in the penultimate episode followed by the reconciliation in the finale. It felt forced, especially considering how understanding Park Morgan was.
It took me 11 episodes to warm up to the third female lead and her love story. Early on, she seemed like a doormat at home and an antagonist to the female lead, so her sudden epiphany felt a bit out of place. However, I'm glad she eventually grew a backbone.
This drama should have been 12 episodes instead of 16. The last four episodes, which focused on business troubles, felt repetitive since they dealt with a similar issue we had already seen earlier in the series. -

24. Study Group
Korean Drama - 2025, 10 episodes
The show was genuinely enjoyable and entertaining with a style that felt heavily inspired by manga. This approach was both a strength and a weakness at times. The over-the-top elements were effective in some instances (the character introductions) but not always ( especially the fight sequences. I wish they were a bit more real !?)
However, I found the overall aesthetics quite charming and appreciated the meaningful message it conveyed: no matter how tough your bully is, they don’t win at the end. It’s a reminder that real strength comes from standing up for yourself. The cast delivered good performances and by the end of it, I was really rooting for the study group! Also the opening OST Backpacker is amazing !
If there will be a second season I will be sat!

28. Sangmin Dinneaw
Thai Drama - 2024, 8 episodes
Honestly, This was just not it! Started out decent but lost all subtlety and just became awkward, over-the-top and entirely uncomfortable at times! The comedy was painfully crass and relentlessly horny. It felt like they were trying way too hard, throwing in cheap jokes that were more embarrassing than funny. -
29. Mad for Each Other
Korean Drama - 2021, 13 episodes
This was such an entertaining and well-executed "enemies to lovers" trope, with some serious topics lurking beneath the surface. I really enjoyed the fun banter between the leads and their chemistry! Just two outcasts making their way through life with their " weird quirks", slowly healing each other along the way.
The episode length was also perfect for binge-watching. It's been a while since I’ve binged a K-drama and this one was almost perfect for that.
However, I felt like the last three episodes lost some of the vibe and had a rushed ending. The FL's storyline in particular felt hurried and lacked the depth it deserved. The focus shifted away from the emotional development and logic and instead it leaned too heavily into the hero complex, which didn’t quite fit with the tone of the show up until that point.
Overall, I would definitely recommend despite its flaws for a binge watch -

39. Dr. Romantic Season 3
Korean Drama - 2023, 16 episodes
This season is my favorite so far. It has the perfect mix of everything. The emotional moments really hit deep, especially the bond between Kim Sabu and Seo Ujin. Their friendship was something special to watch. The surgeries were intense and kept me on the edge of the seat. And just when things start to feel a little too heavy, the comedy kicks in and lightens the mood. It’s the perfect balance of drama and humor.

40. Eulachacha Waikiki
Korean Drama - 2018, 20 episodes
Genuinely funny even if it goes a bit over the top sometimes, it still manages to make me laugh. It's also surprisingly heartwarming. The love stories did slow and drag things down a bit but overall, it's a fun ride and definitely worth recommending!

45. Flirt Milk
Thai Drama - 2025, 10 episodes
First couple: I'm unsure when, why, or how they ended up together. Events kept unfolding and instead of providing clarity, they only raised more questions.
Second couple: The 3.5 rating is really just for them! They started off well, but as the writing became messier, it turned into something that was just watchable rather than engaging.
Third couple: I skipped all of their scenes because there was no chemistry and it felt completely random, almost like an unnecessary subplot.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend this series. There's barely any plot and while the actors have decent chemistry, I might consider watching them again if they appear in another BL. I don't mind a basic or cliché plot, but it should be executed well. Unfortunately, this one missed the mark.

47. Kekkon Yoteibi
Japanese Drama - 2023, 8 episodes
While the drama leans on familiar tropes and predictability, its execution makes it an enjoyable watch. It’s a light and easy drama that embraces its clichés in a way that feels comforting rather than stale and cringe. The highlight for me was the communication between characters , refreshingly clear which is rare in many Jdramas. Though it has its flaws, such as uneven pacing and a lack of originality in the storyline, it still manages to hold its own. If you're in the mood for something simple and easygoing, this is definitely a good option.
