2025 BL Watched and Ranked from Best to Worst

Last minute entry and break out favorite of the year.   I love this drama.  The ML is super toxic.  It’s messy romance and messy revenge.  The chemistry between the leads is so good.  Seriously, I’m obsessed with this drama!!

LOVE THIS!!!!  The perfect cute and fluffy BL.  It’s charming.  It’s funny.  The main couple is perfect.  The acting and the chemistry was so good.  Seriously an easy binge with a high rewatch value.

This quote was from a post I saw inthe comments section for this drama.  It’s so true.  This show was a highly entertaining disaster.  Super SEXY.  The chemistry between the leads was amazing.   My favorite guilty pleasure of 2025.

I feel like these Special Episodes are a purely a gift to their fan. They are like, “Here you go. Thanks for watching 12 episodes of this messy twisted toxic relationship while still loving the show. Now we give you these sexy and sweet episodes as a reward.”

Wow!!!  The two leads were amazing.  Giving loads of chemistry and major skinship.  It so well acted and directed.  Amazing! The final few episodes were a bit boring.

Six short episodes but it packs a punch.  Hauntingly beautiful.  This drama will stay with me.

CHARMING!!!  This BL is so good.  Nothing really new in the story but the actors made it so charming.  Super cute and super sweet.

Too short!!!!  I want more!  This was 40 minutes of captivating BL entertainment.  Two leads had chemistry.   Quick watch.

This was such a good BL.  The earlier episodes were better but as a whole it was really good.  The main couple and second couple were great.  The chemistry between the two male leads was on fire.  Will watch again.

Good drama.  Intense at times.  Certainly entertaining.

Episode 1 is confusing but needed for setup.  Episodes 2 - 9 are BORING.  Not a whole lot going on to advance the story for 9 entire episodes.  I’m surprised I didn’t drop but I stuck with it and I’m glad I did because in episode 10 it starts to picks up.  Episodes 11 and 12 are fire!!!!  Also loved the second couple better than the first.  Final episodes are good.  Overall an interesting watch.

This is good.  Light and fluffy.  Dragged in parts but glad I stuck with it.  The reward was the final episode.  It was worth watching for the final episode.

I liked this BL with its confusing big ambitious storyline and tiny budget.  The music was subpar and the actors are  certainly not the best at acting but they are cute/handsome.  Not much skin-ship here; it’s very PG.  This really shouldn’t have been as good as it was.  Somehow they made it work (sort of).  In no means is this a perfect drama.  There is so much that makes this a hot mess and yet it’s still highly entertaining.  Better than loads of BL dramas with bigger budgets.  It cute and sweet and funny and sort of charming.

Cute .  The Main couple was cute but lacking in chemistry.  Their performances were sleepy.  Still the story was light fluffy and romantic so I liked it.

Cute.  I Not really BL but has elements of BL.  Unconventional marriage but all three had great chemistry together.  Short sweet easy watch.

Quick easy watch

“Our Youth” the series was amazing and it was a year before this special episode aired.  I loved the series.

Too short to get any real type of development but it was still good.  Nice chemistry between leads.  Nice tension building.  Quick and easy watch.

Okay, I have completed this strange little drama that has had me confused from the start. I get that it is endearing and full of special moments but I also feel like something is “off.” It’s hard to describe but the two male leads together are just cringe. It’s not even the age gap. It’s the total lack of chemistry and overall weirdness in the way the characters act. Their behavior makes them seem mentally stunted. I don’t see any genuine affection from them for each other. They just don’t seem like a believable couple to me. I see that their relationship is centered on companionship than romantic love but something still seems off, With that being said their is still much to like about this bizarre little drama.

This was a solid good BL with some pacing issues.  The leads were often “slow talkers” and it made for many extreme slow and boring parts.  I liked it but was often looking forward to the ending.  It had some seriously awkward product placements.

the first season we see them meet and fall in love.  It was cute and sweet and easy to watch.  In season two the tone shifts.  It focuses on their acting careers and the insecurity in their craft and relationship.  It’s a slice of life drama that at times is frustrating to watch and other times warm and cozy.  It’s at its best when the two leads are supporting each other.  Season one will always be my favorite of the two but this one is special as well.

  After seeing the trailer for this I was super excited for this. The movie poster alone sizzles, but sadly I’m feeling let down.  Love, love, love the two male leads and their performances and dancing was top notch. Loved their chemistry.  Love the production value and top notch cinematography; Love the tension building, the kisses, the lighting, the music.
So much to love so why didn’t I love this movie?
This movie focuses more on the dancing than romance.  Yes, the chemistry between the leads was there, but very little dialogue.  Need more dialogue to feel a deeper connection between the couple.  I didn’t feel any kind of excitement at the ending. Disappointed but still worth a watch.

This BL started off with a strong first and second episodes and I thought it would be a favorite, but the tone unfortunately shifted and it became an average BL.  The ending episode was good too.

Good BL with a beautiful seaside location for half the drama.  I liked both male leads. Could skip the GL relationship.

Vertical Series on YouTube.  Very low budget but still was good.  The male leads were cute and the enemies to lovers story was great.

This had so much potential but was just meh.

Too short for character development.  The male leads have good chemistry.

Slice of life BL that was forgettable.  The male leads had zero chemistry but the story was cute and fluffy.  Not much skinship.  The kisses were fish kisses.  The lack of chemistry made it impossible to believe they were actually a couple.  Still it was cute and fluffy easy watch so good.

This was an okay BL.  Started strong but then fizzled.  All 4 leads are attractive but the one guy the other the wanted had no personality and  I wasn’t feeling the chemistry.

Lead actors have good chemistry and acting was good but was boring and slow and kept wanting it to get better or end.  Ugh… then it turned bad with disturbing dark scenes.

This is a way too short BL with 5 minutes and episode and only five episodes, you can’t expect much.  It does have a compelling storyline.  I want to see more!

BORING!!! Painfully slow.  This BL had everything going for it.  Cinderella boy type storyline.  Beautiful sets, Beautiful locations. Beautiful fashion.  Beautiful boys.  I never dreamed I wouldn’t like it but the writing was horrible.  So many cringe parts.  I never felt invested enough of any of the characters l.  It was just so disappointing.

Mostly Meh.  The crazy unhinged brother and bodyguard made for some entertainment and episode 7 ended with a bang… but the rest was mediocre at best.

This wasn’t as good as season one.  It tried way too hard to be funny and it wasn’t really that funny.   It lacks the humor and charm of season 1.

This drama is not very good.  Sort of mediocre, stupid.  The acting is stiff and awkward.  The production is low budget.  The story is full of plot holes.  No chemistry among its cast is it biggest crime and its boring.  Is it’s not the worst BL I seen.  No, budget it’s below average.  Sad because a mermaid BL drama sounded good.

This was basically the 2007 Movie and it was just as confusing.  To many characters and too short of series to actually develop any of them.  It’s just okay.  Nothing special.

Zero chemistry Zero plot Zero reasons to watch

This drama was bad.  Seriously bad.  Bad editing.  Bad writing.  Bad sound.  The actors were good but completely awkward in this clunker.  Still this drama had something compelling that kept me watching.  I’m going to miss this horrible drama where it was so bad it kept me watching to see what new low it reaches.  The comments section has been a fun read alone.

This is more like a sitcom than BL.  The episodes focus on individual cases that the law office is working on.  New episodes, New case.  The rest is about the family life of a BL couple.  It’s okay.
