Loved the main characters.  Very memorable story.  Show felt disjointed towards the end due to Youku deleting scenes, but still happy I watched this show.

Good story that pulls you right in.  Great humor.  Nicely paced with lots of variety.  Fight scenes were satisfying to watch.

A low budget, low quality type of production.  Movie spans high school, college, and working life so doesn't give you breathing room to connect with the characters.  Don't really recommend.

Waste of time.  Do not recommend.  Acting was bad.  A lot of things made no sense.  Structure was dumb; it was like writers ran out of material so they suddenly switched to focusing on 2nd couple for latter half of the show.  Lame overall.

Real good short series with a story and characters that are gripping.  Especially love the female lead character.

Watched it for the investigative aspect.  Not good, but wasn't horrible enough to drop.  Main problem is that cases were solved too abruptly.

Seemed like a filler season.  Had some good moments, but lacked charm of season 1. Also, ep5 can be skipped entirely; can't believe they had a filler episode for a show that only had 13 episodes in total.

Very amateurish, almost cringey production.  Director and writers are to blame as they clearly did not care.  Do not recommend at all unless you're watching for your favorite stars.

Very basic short series. Nothing special or unique about it.  Also for a show this short, why did they put in a second couple?  lol

Hated it.  Waste of a great cast.  Hilarious Family did a way better job with this type of show.  Too many sudden tonal changes.  About 90% of the conflicts were: person A acts like a jerk, problem is resolved, "haha tricked you" person A was not a jerk and this is what really happened, then flashback reveal or plot twist; that was so tedious and annoying to see over and over again.  Only endured the show because of the cast; do not recommend if you're not watching for the cast.

Not worth watching. Very cursory type of production, jumps from scene to scene. No real development or connection to characters. Do not recommend.

Not well made.  It's like they tried to force 3 different types of shows into one... imagine eating pizza and your first bite is just cheese, second bite is just sauce, third bite is just dough... it's not well blended together - that's this show. Plus so much cringe dialogue, unnecessary scenes, and excruciatingly slow pacing (you could watch at 2x speed and understand what's going on).

The main couple stuff was fantastic (9.5/10) - creative, interesting, and fun - and I would definitely recommend watching just for that.  The side couple stuff was not bad, but basically your standard/typical plotlines.  Overall, good show, 8.75/10.

Alright short series. Seemed like a low budget and shorter version of Delicacies Destiny.

10/10.  Great show about love, family, friendship, growing up, etc.  Main characters are so lovable.  Pacing is fantastic; plotlines are not dragged out like in some other shows.  Highly recommend.

Hated it.  Worst case interpretation: ML was basically a stalker.  Best case interpretation: ML was an unrealistic character.  Show was also badly made - too much stuff repeated, way too slow and draggy (should've been a 12-16 episode show), all episodes had flashbacks and a huge majority of them were annoyingly redundant.

Decent show.  Well made.  The fighting and the choreography were so nicely done.

Episodes 1-4 were great, felt different from a typical cdrama, and had the vibe of a European movie.  Ep5-7 had different pacing and went through a lot in a short span of time.  Overall ok show.

First 17 episodes were great - nice, light, fun watch.  Then the rest of the show got a tonal switch, parts felt rushed, parts didn't make sense... sigh... another one of those shows.

This was SO BORING and way too long.  Nothing about it was gripping - the characters, the pacing, the plot... all of it was so bland.  Took me 3 months to finish.  Also I didn't feel the bromance in this show at all.

If anyone else gets bored of this, just skip to the last episode.

I feel like this will be one of those shows that most people will miss and unfortunately it won't get talked much about.  The show had enjoyable humor and great characters, and it did an amazing job of seamlessly blending all the different aspects of the show together (the scifi with the costume, the themes of love and devotion).

Wish they had done more with the disguise part to make the show more unique and special because aside from that, this was a very ordinary show.

Enjoyable, light, and easy to watch with super consistent humor and pacing throughout the show.  If you like the first couple of episodes, you will like the rest.  8.75/10

The initial setup was interesting, but then the show became very bland, predictable, and boring.  Also had technical problems (random voiceovers, hairpieces not blended in well).  Do not recommend at all.

Meh.  Only watch if you're a fan of someone in the cast or need a background watch while waiting for food to cook.  Nothing spectacular.  Parts were jumpy.  Villain is typical cartoonish caricature.  Easily forgettable.

Do not recommend.  Hated this.  Completely different from the other Detective Chinatown movies. Not funny at all and subject matter doesn't fit this franchise.  Parts were extremely cringe.

Meh.  Too much going on with too many people and not enough time to do any sort of development.  Looks like someone just borrowed the special effects scenes from the Lord of the Rings movies.  Would've worked better as a cdrama rather than a movie.

Go in with the expectation that the focus is on serious family drama; it is not mainly a romance show and not an easy/light watch.  Well made, though not my type of show.  (Only watched it for ZYR.)

This is a very well made short series.  Feels complete, with good characters and interesting plot.

Was on my watchlist for the potential bromance.  Show itself was very average, nothing outstanding.  Secondary characters and couples were unnecessary and boring.  Only watch if you're interested in the bromance aspect otherwise there are better shows to watch.

Ineffective mix of investigative plus palace politics.  The investigative parts were repetitive and uninteresting.  The palace stuff was tedious and confusing, with so many names and relationships, and so many simple and annoying characters.  FL was too OP.  There are way better similar shows in comparison.  (Note: also watched the 4ep variety show on iQiyi.)

Episodes 1-29 were enjoyable.  Episodes 30-36 were so slow, full of dumb conflicts that were conveniently resolved too quickly, and had too many pointless scenes trying to drag this out to a 36 episode show.  The battle/fight scenes were all great to watch though.  7.75/10

Fantastic show.  Highly recommend.  The story and characters are interesting.  Love the way the story is told and how the mysteries are slowly revealed.  Romance was great.  (Don't miss the after credits scenes!!!) 

Show feels like a low budget minidrama that someone threw a lot of money at.  Aside from the superhero-like parts, nothing really memorable about the show.  Ep1 was confusing and wasn't well made, but the rest of the eps were ok.

Your basic family business power struggle + revenge type of show.  Nothing unique or spectacular, though also nothing horrible about it.  Would recommend if you're into these types of shows or if you like someone in the cast.

Low rating because not my type of show.  There were a lot of good things here - the FL's family had nice moments, some good humor and cute scenes, loved the high school flashbacks, overall story was interesting, acting and technical production were good - but show was bogged down by slow, tedious, unnecessary scenes and too much pointless talking.

A casual show that is entertaining enough.

Solidly-made show throughout, well acted.  Though if you've seen these types of shows before, story-wise there wasn't much unique/new or surprising.

Meh.  Lots of action and loved seeing Chang Huasen play this type of character, but those were the only highlights.  Main story was not that interesting, too many characters popping in and out, some of the ending episodes had a ton of slow talking parts.

Main story was not captivating.  However, Guo Junchen's character and story was amazing, Chang Huasen's character and story was amazing, the interactions between these two and with the male lead were hilarious - worth watching just for these highlights.  8.25/10
