What a disappointment ! Such an overhyped drama !

It started so well (that "plot twist" ending of episode 1 was especially exciting - I was seated !) and I was quite entertained until about halfway through when it rapidly started going downhill.
As the show progressed, the storyline became more and more unrealistic and the characters' development stayed too superficial. I could barely understand any of their (nonsensical) actions or relate to any of them.
The plot also became SO predictable in a very chaotic way (like they were desperately trying to make it eventful).... until the most RIDICULOUS and UNNECESSARY (and politically shameful) last episode ever. Have you ever heard of the Republic of Argan... ?!? ???‍♀?

During airing, most viewers were talking non-stop about the main leads' fiery chemistry. Well, I'm personally not so sure about that, sorry, but I'm pretty certain the only thing that saved this drama is the ML (Yoo Yeon Seok) great acting.
His character was quite a red flag though. We learn he's supposed to be in love with his wife but, sorry not sorry, he was NOT a caring husband !
PS: sadly, the second couple (was there even a second couple, really ? They barely had their own story) had ZERO chemistry.

At the end, I was relieved it was a "short" drama.

I was here for the MLs' (adorable) bromance !

It was an entertaining show and I enjoyed the first few episodes but I was quickly fed up with the same "perfectly choreographed" violence as the story progressed.
I really liked the 2 second badass FL's and was disappointed their roles weren't as important and integrated in this series as the other male characters. I would have loved to see more overall development (depth) of the main characters.

After watching "Mr Plankton" first, I was again in awe of Woo Do Hwan's subtle acting (whose sweetest character here is totally different from the one in "Mr Plankton"). This artist is just incredibly talented but, even though I loved him and fellow actor Lee Sand Hee in this show, I'm not sure I will watch the second season.

Btw, am I the only one who thought the 2 Yakuza-skilled "good guys" were lacking the most basic common sense as professional killers SHOULD have ? And, as a very real target, the nice but very rich "grandpa" had ZERO home security system (and only 1 gun in the house)... How was that possible !?!

A missed opportunity.
This series could have been thought-provoking and asked for some serious soul-searching but the writers sadly missed a real opportunity to address and acknowledge the atrocities of the story. 

This storyline became too far-fetched and more convoluted around the middle of the drama. Clearly the entertainment of the show was more important than the development of its emotional depth.

Except for the ML, most of the characters, including the villains, weren't that interesting nor had much depth.

This was not a bad Cdrama but I was personally a bit disappointed by it (compared to other 2024 Chinese "historical" dramas like Blossom in Adversity and The Double, for example).

Such a beautiful BL drama with 2 talented young actors with great chemistry.

A very B-like BL series (and that almost stopped me after wachting the first few episodes) but the MLs' chemistry is the cutest and that what makes this drama watchable. You just can't help but ship this sweet main couple (and the same goes for one of the MLs' loving, funny and open minded parents) but -sorry not sorry- the rest is easily forgettable.

What a DISAPPOINTING and FRUSTRATING ride it was !

So MANY talented actors, incredible special effects, beautiful cinematography, unique and fresh premise,  very cool music... SUCH great potential from the get-go (and this explains my "way too generous" rating) ! The first episode was fascinating and fun. Sure it was a bit messy but I was seated. And I stayed intrigued for the first few episodes.

Sadly I soon realized how MUCH they desperately were trying to do (unnecessary subplots) and how messier and absurdly over-the-top the show progressively became as BASIC science principles (and common sense, if I dare say) were continuously being ignored.

Was it a comedy ? A romance melodrama ? A Sci-Fi thriller ? A poetic Pro Life promotional/propaganda video... ? Except for the Serial Killer one, they certainly tried all genres, one after the other, but miserably failed to deliver something solid, credible or even compelling.

However, they succeeded at making all the characters, especially astronauts and scientifics, look INSANELY unprofessional (at multiple times of the story) and, unfortunately, almost impossible to root for them.
What a costly waste it was !

What made me frustrated the most is the moment the FL got pregnant: in an instant, all her values for her own life and her amazing scientific career she had built... everything she believed in got completely overshadowed. She becomes this heavenly creature the moment she decided to give birth, even after knowing it would very likely kill her (and leave her baby motherless like she herself had been in her own life !).
The way these kinds of sacrifices are glorified are SEVERELY unhealthy, as if women loose value as human beings if they choose NOT to give birth. This is so sad and disturbing.
Btw, how the baby survived the 4G-Force launch in her belly (and how later that same child came back to earth apparently) is also beyond me.

Desperately needed a "palate cleanser" after When The Stars Gossip... but this drama was almost as disappointing. 

Contrary to WTSG, this was definitely a light drama from the start but the problem is that it got way TOO "light" at numerous points of the storyline.
I got bored during some "empty" episodes, frustrated by the stupidity of other unnecessary and immature subplots (that very clichéd and childlike rivalry between the Middle Eastern guest and the ML or that "promotional" Thaïland trip episode, for examples) and disappointed by superficial/unidimensional/underdeveloped majority of the characters.

The show could have already been improved by cutting it to 12 (instead of 16) episodes.
As WTSG, this show had potential (talented actors) and could have been WAY better.

This is a very good short-length SERIES with great acting. I would have loved to see this as a full Cdrama with more context and character development.

Sweet & healthy but got a little slow and boring (too business oriented/detailed) near the end.
Nice "Second (Workplace) Couple" chemistry. Well, to be perfectly honest, both Male Support roles were major Green Flags and gave me Second ML Syndrome.

Too bad this was a Vertical drama ! These 2 talented MLs deserved a more developed story where we could really appreciate their character's growth.

Like in "Only Friends" (which I watched before this show), the chemistry between these 2 MLs is chemistryfying. I understand why these 2 actors continue to be paired up again and again. That's one of the reason I gave this BL drama a 8,5/10 rating.
The other reasons include: overall good chemistry between the young actors and the rest of the cast, nice cinematography, not a bad story even though a bit predictable and quite simplistic...

The first 7-8 episodes were quite frustrating and a bit slow  (too much internal politics/power struggle/misplaced ego) but, fortunately, the series started to become more -medically- interesting after those long first episodes.
