Nakazono Miho (中園美保) is a Japanese screenwriter from Nakano, Tokyo. She graduated from Nihon University Second High School (日本大学第二高等学校) and the Department of Broadcasting at the College of Art, Nihon University (日本大学). Since 2010, she has been a visiting professor at the College of Art, Nihon University.

Nakazono lost her father at the age of 10 and her mother to illness when she was 19. After graduating, she joined an advertising agency but left after a year and three months. She worked as a copywriter and a Four Pillars of Destiny fortune teller before becoming a scriptwriting assistant to screenwriter Tanaka Yozo (田中陽造).

She debuted in 1988 with "New Town Substation" (ニュータウン仮分署) and decided to become a full-time screenwriter in 1993, after the birth of her first son, feeling it was a job she could balance with raising a child at home. She returned to work in 1995 with the Fuji TV drama "For You" (フォー・ユー).

In 2007, she published her first essay, "Love Loves Me, Is That a Problem?" (恋愛大好きですが、何か?).
