Hello! I'd just like to give my opinions of the characters thus far starting with Non I must say I feel really…
your idea of maybe someone else also filming a video of Non with the teacher is making a lot of sense to me considering Jin seem to be genuine about not posting it, and I think the writers want us to suspect him so they let us suspect him while not openly showing he shared the video (with the computer breaking down because of the beverage spill).

I think Fluke might have filmed after Jin left the scene or more likely that Top who has been following Non saw Fluke and Jin standing there and waited until they left to have a look himself.

Well damn, Baby Barcode is all grown up, yes he will always be Baby Barcode to me!Never thought Barcode's first…
I hope we will get a couple of episodes in the past where Phee (after Non disappears) change schools to Non's and get closer to the others considering he is their friend in the present.

If we are going to have to deal with this amount of flashback episodes I hope they dedicate some time for that backstory. That should also introduce White and Tan to the group finally.

I had wondered if Jin was part of the revenge. I think now it's safe to say he absolutely is not. In fact i would…
ep 7 actually made me think Jin might be in on the revenge.

I don't think he posted the video but after whatever happens to Non that makes him disappear I think Jin will have a bad conscience about filming the video and not standing up for Non more that when he meets Phee they band together to extract revenge.

On Dead Friend Forever - DFF Feb 4, 2024
okay, after episode 7 my love for Jin has dwindled a little. I have thought it being weird that he is just standing by most of the time as his friends are mean to Non, but I have chalked it up to him being a teenager not knowing what to do/ the right thing to do.
We are all not perfect and I am sure we all have things we wish we hade done differently when we were younger.
I am sure that if this was real life the adult Jin would detest how he acted, or not acted in this case, when he was younger.
The thing that made me like him less before the video thing is when he convinced Non that being the monster actor is a good replacement for the writer role. Like no, I don't know what Non want to be but a writing vs acting credit on a movie is very different and no friend should think the way Jin did in that scene.

Regardless, Jin is a little lower on my favourite character placement, but I do not thing he was the one who posted the video. First I thought he must at the very least have shared the video with someone, like Fluke, for it to get leaked if Jin didn't post.
But maybe the account Jin was on was a shared one with his friends and not his personal and that is how the one who posted got the video...
Anyway, if he sent the video to a friend that is lowering him on my list as he took a decision to so do. Fiming is wrong as well but if he never posted it and deleted the video I would be "ok" with it. Heat of the moment thing.

Love Phee, I don't really care for Non, he makes mistake after mistake and him cheating and not being truthful to Phee was stupid, but then again he is a teenager thinking he can handle everything on his own and if he was truthful to Phee we would not have the story.

I wonder how Jin and Phee will meet now. If it is for revenge I assume both are in on it. If not then I would not want to kiss and do what they have implied they did when younger if I though the guy (Jin) is partly responsible for my ex-boyfriends death.

Also, Jin did see Phee when Non kissed Phee on the cheek. Either they will ignore this or have it so that Jin did not see Phee's face, otherwise Jin knows who Phee is before they get together... Maybe they are doing this revenge thing togehter after all. They both feel bad about Non after he is gone and get together to extract revenge.

I wish they didn't know who the other were and fell in love organically, regardless of their previous feelings for Non but that seems to not be the case. But Phee seemed so genuine when in the coffin with Jin, caressing his hair and all.

I'm upset that we are on episode 8 next week and there is still barely any Phee (or Jin really) and nothing of them together basically expect the first few episodes. I am watching this series mostly for them so I am getting frustrated. I though with the ep 7 preview that we would continue on the story from there but guess not.

When Phee said "you're still being the same as before " so Non is quite the Playboyy?
Phee could also be referring to Non lying to him again maybe

Everything is good so far except that I'm getting bored of these flashback episodes. I was expecting to see PheeJin…
I am also tired of the flashback episodes, but I am hopeful that Jin and Phee will finally meet in ep 7 and we might get some backstory to their relationship in the present at least.

This show has become a little to non centric when this show should be a show for tacopper.. we have hardly gotten…
agreed, my only comfort is that it seems like Ta will be present in ep 7 at least so hopefully Phee and Jin will meet in this episode.

I do still like the series, I just wish they would move on from the flashback. I am only interested in knowing how Phee and Jin's story started when it comes to the flashbacks, and maybe how White could fall in love with a guy like Tee now that we know more about him.

I think these flashback episodes might go on for a while considering they are showing all of Non's story so I assume they will show us the backstory of the teachers involvement as well.

Of all the series currently airing this is my only must-watch. One surprise after another! The cast is great.…
I really like it too. I'm hoping we get some more backstory to Phee/ Jin (and Non) and Tee/ White this weekend

can't wait until Saturday/ Sunday for the next episode. I wonder if Jin and Phee will finally meet.
I'm wondering how they will end up in a relationship as they both seem interested in Non right now.

Will they start liking each other while liking Non or will Non reject them both and they find comfort in each other or will they fall out of love with Non and like each other, OR will Non vanish and they bond during that.

Now that I think about it they might not meet next episode... ugh, I want their backstory asap. If the trailer is anything to go by they will have a moment in school, White and Tee should meet soon too.

? ? ? The whole point is to get known with Non's case, WHAT happened to him, WHY did he disappear, WHERE and WHEN,…
yes but getting to know what happened to Non doesn't necessarily mean we have to follow him for x amount of episodes.

That could even be a big red flag regarding storytelling skills where we literally have to follow a character to know them instead of him getting "built" as the story progresses with the other characters talking about him, reminiscing, finding clues etc.

Having a story revolve around a character that is not present (like the first few episodes) is common and can be handled several different ways. I just did not expect them to handle this story like this where Non takes up so much screen time.

I thought he would be the major plot point/ move the story forward since he is the reason for the story even beginning, but not the main character like he seems to be now where all the others are support basically. Like it's been a while since we saw either Phee or White and Tan.

The story as per the trailer gives the impression of horror/ suspense etc but this is just high school bullying. I am a little salty because Phee is my favourite character so far and he has been MIA for a while now giving way for a doormat of a character.

Anyway, I do like the series I just am not really a fan of how they treat the backstory of it. My favourite characters as of yet is Phee, Jin and surprisingly White and I was under the impression they would have more screen time, hence the salt.

I'm getting tired of these flashback episodes.
They're all about how miserable Non is/ gets and it is getting boring for me frankly. Possibly because I didn't know he would have such a big character in the story (I thought he would be dead/ gone with just a few guest appearances here and there) that I just can't get invested in it. Still waiting for the present time.

This is suposed to be scary or suspenseful but so far majority of episodes (being in the past) has just been high school bullying.

I want a backstory for Phee and Jin and Tee and White asap so we can move forward to the present. It would have been better to me if they had sprinkled the flashbacks in in the present time instead of dedicating whole episodes. But then I have never liked flashbacks ever. Never see the point of going back, I think it's always better to just have it naturally appear in how characters interact with each other in the present. So you can build the backstory in your mind.

Also, seems to me like the last few episodes have Non as the main character. I miss Phee, hopefully we will get more of him in the following episode since he appeared in the preview. Don't really care for the money laundering storyline... which is a shame as that seem to be the catalyst chosen to propel the story forward.

but should stories like this never get told then? Rape happens IRL but it shouldn't happen in shows we consume?Getting…
well I'm sure that rape victims have, sadly, fallen in love with their rapist IRL as well, hopefully not as common but it does happen.

Now I don't want to die on this hill and I'm not defending this series or the Love Syndrome III series. I have not read the novel because it seems to be a mouthful and the series was not the best, but what I am trying to say is that people fall in love with horrible people all the time.

I wouldn't call a series depicting that "romanticising rape", but to each their own.

don't mind me, just being shallow and not really liking the look of the new Itt actor from the few images I have seen.
Nothing really wrong with him, just not good looking enough for me. Oh well. He might look better in the series.

why are you waiting for this shit? that’s weird, are you doing mentally well? I am worried for you
why are you still here? If you can't stomach a made up story with actors pretending just leave the page and look for something more to your liking.

It's so interesting how some people have the need to shame other for watching series that they themselves do as evident by you and the other shamers still lurking on this page being all self righteous about it.

I get it, you're a better person than the rest right, you just gotta let us less fortunate know that. Sitting all nice on your high horse or is there some pain being so high and mighty?

"Itt was raped by Day" NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEE. Whoever is STILL romanticizing rape, should have…
but should stories like this never get told then? Rape happens IRL but it shouldn't happen in shows we consume?

Getting raped IRL is out of someones control but watching/ reading this story is optional, you literally have to opt-in and since stuff like this continues to be made there is obviously an audience for it.

Just because there are people who are ok with watching stories with these types of elements doesn't mean that they are ok with rape IRL or that they need therapy.
The actors are playing a role in a story aka consenting to pretending to be raped (that was a weird sentence to write), and with consent it is literally not rape, just pretend.

Whenever I watch a series that have these type of element I don't get bothered (more than the acting and cringe) because I know it is not rape.

I want the sunshine, sadness, horror and beauty that exists in real life in my BL's and while I do take care to check the story first before I get into most of them (like a happy ending) because I can't always stomach everything, I feel like it would get boring real fast if there were only happy stories being told all the time. But maybe that is just me.

Title Night Dream Spoiler
it's very cute. I really liked the ending scene for episode 2. It was very natural acting like Night have been wanting to touch Dream all this time and with the liquid courage he finally gave into it and the caress on the cheek and shin looked very sweet and loving
