can I ask why? I admit I wasn't the biggest fan of JH when the show started with him calling everyone hyung and everyone seeming offended by it and then him continuing to do it. But when I found out he was 21 I gathered he basically knew he was the youngest. Now after having gotten to "know" him I like him the most out of all of them and basically watch because of him. If this was one of those shows where a contestant was voted out and he was, I would stop watching haha. So, that makes me curious why you don't like him, if you don't mind me asking?
EC, I like how straight forward he is and going after what he wants but I feel like he needs to give up soon for his own good and focus on the other people in the house. If anything this made me dislike HJ if anything with how he does nothing and just goes with the flow, he never takes action for what he want, except for the phone call with CM, but after that he seems like he just waits for everyone else to do everything. Like if he is so interested in CM as he claimed to be, why not try and talk to him and not wait for CM to do it? So yeah, that turn me off a bit. I do think him and SY is cute together though, but I'm sure HJ won't want him either but not directly tell him so.
So strange though how JH said he "only had eyes for him now" while writing the letter. It makes it sound like…
Oh that sounds like fun to have someone to talk to about it IRL.
Yeah that might be it. I think pride for JH might have played a role in him not calling CM the first time they did the phone calls, and them CM not calling him because he didn't get his call.
I really want them to go on a date though. The way they talk about each other and give looks, it would be so interesting.
I have this feeling that the production team saved CM's explanation for choosing HJ as a roommate for a later episode. So for example if JH (or someone else) asks CM why he didn't chose JH, or why he chose HJ, CM will answer and we'll get to see the video as well of his reasoning for picking HJ.
I don't know why I am so invested, they're real people so we never know who, if any, they all will end up with, but I still enjoy it ^^
Guys after rewatching Ep 7 I think I have figured out who wrote to whom during the mailbox thing:* Jeong Ho ,…
So strange though how JH said he "only had eyes for him now" while writing the letter. It makes it sound like CM since he has talked about him wanting to be with him and in the preview for the 8th episode it looks like he and CM are on a date.
On the other hand, if he wrote to SY, what he said while writing the letter might be him explaining that he is letting go of CM, and now SY (or whomever he wrote to if not CM) is the one he will focus on.
I enjoy the show but I'm a little upset that we might have missed pivotal moments in ep 4 because of censorship (if that is true which is highly likely considering the shorter runtime). If something happened that they cut in ep 4 it will probably make the rest of the show feel disjointed because moments that were deemed important enough to air (but then be dropped) were removed.
I hope they won't do that to episodes going forward and I hope we will be able to see the full hour of episode 4 at some point in the future.
Now to the people, or the two people I just thought were interestingly strange. I felt that JeongHyun and Changmin had an interest in each other from the get-go.
I think JeongHyun chose not to call Changmin out of pride and that CM had already gotten three calls. And I think that had he called CM then CM would have called him. Just watch the part where CM asked JH if he had already called, I think he wanted (and/ or expected?) a call from him and when he didn't get it he didn't call him either.
I don't remember the name of the guy he actually called, but CM does not seem interested in him at all, and all he did say was basically thank you for the date but he never talks about him or sit with him whereas with JH he gives him looks (and that might just be editing and him just simply looking) but he also mentioned that he knew JH wanted to eat the dish they cooked when JH was at the hospital. (Seems like they talk a lot more in-between ep 3 and 4?)
I actually thought their date was a little sad with all the misunderstandings and CM not putting in an effort with the activity so I thought that would be it (same with JH wanting to go see the flowers and how CM could not be bothered hahah) But they seem to have a connected when talking and if I remember correctly CM said he rarely smiles but I noticed with JH he smiles a lot and JH seemed to like being thought of as a couple. They also sat very close to each other on the couch at the end of the episode (although some of the other ones did too).
All this makes me wonder about what we missed in the episode. Was it just "useless" filler that didn't really matter or actually pivotal moments that would explain certain things.
I have to say my favourite date was Eun Chan's and his crush. They seems to get along so well and his crush seemed to like him too but then he is just so passive afterwards. Maybe he is used to get chased and that is why he does nothing? Poor Eun Chan.
I also found it interesting how JH and CG were not the most popular, (I also guessed CM would be popular) I though everyone would love them even though JH was an acquired taste in the beginning. I like him now though, especially knowing he is younger and that might explain some of his early behaviour.
I have actually changed my mind and I enjoy the main couple now. I didn't think I would when I watch the first few episode but they have grown on me, looking forward to episode 7.
westernization surgery? what are you even talking about-
when you say 'nose enlargement' don't you mean the bridge and not an actually larger nose? They seen to be after the nose bridge being higher like a white person, not bigger. The area between the eyes, where the nose starts, seems to be the one they especially want to have raised. So saying "enlargement" seems to indicate they just want bigger noses which is not true. Just higher with a more noticeable side profile. I'd even say they want small noses like westerners generally.
There's at least one -- Kim's ex and his new bf look like they're going to be part of the story. There's also…
Do you know about when Baiboon shows up in the episode? I want to see that scene but I can't be bothered to skip through the episode again to see if I can find it hehe
And I've fallen into the rabbit hole of watching their videos and lives together on yt. This series better not disappoint me because they look really nice and relaxed with each other, but I guess now my expectations are even higher :/
The acting, production, and quality is AMAZING. The last scene and Zee's expression when he turned around to look…
I wish the kiss between them had been private too. I don't understand what it is with Cutie Pie and making out right in front of your friends (and their salads) but I'm not a fan. All I think about is the cringe if that was real and then how cringe it must be for the actors to watch and pretend to be in awe or whatever (not to mention to make out with a fellow actor with an audience). I really wanted a sweet build up for them but I guess they got the same treatment as the rest.
if you are referring to the end scene at the temple as the kiss then I must have missed it with that zoom out. Regardless, it was cute, but I would not call it explicit because I assumed the person who asked meant sexual, if he/ she ment explicit in "they become a couple" then yes obviously. But that was not how I interpreted the question.
They were cute and I liked the suit maker aspect of the series, although it was very small. I just wish it was more developed. The series was a little bit of a mess in my opinion. I don't see the point of Aioons brothers presence at all. They don't matter in the story at all. They have their own little thing that is handeld so quickly all of a sudden that you blink and it's over.
I hope the main characters will have a bigger and maybe more planned out and funded project in the future.
