yes! similarly my first cdrama was princess wei young and unfortunately that ruined all cdramas for me. this one is on the same level tho, so i def recomment princess weiyoung if you havent watched it already !!

Personally, I found the romance in this amazing. It's just very slow burn.But yeah, main plot def isn't romance.
yeah i like how it wasnt mainly romance (which tbf it usually never is w period cdramas) but i feel like this was such a multi genre show which i lovee. The slow burn romance is the thing that kept the show worth watching from beginning to end without getting boring

nope. i was actually trying to wait until season 2 comes out to watch it, but according to sources filming starts next year so its probably gonna be released the following year, 2026 or late 2025

Honestly i dont think its that good. I watched it the first time like 2 years ago and gave it a 10, but rewatched it recently and gave it a 7. Couple of my friends have said the same thing as well, so thats probably a huge reason

YESS! (sorry i get crazy whenever someone mentions hidden love) but i do agree! Ive only watched around 10 cdramas, but this one specifically along with hidden love stand out to me so much! So so excited to rewatch both hidden love and falling into your smile for many years to come
