100% agree with this assessment as usual Lenny. I never wanted Gaga to have a skip forward button more than during…
You're good! It actually wasn't that hard for me to figure out the acronyms. Glad I managed to ace them! Lol!
It's really nice to hear that about MSP. Teen romances are always cool with me. I'm not one of those bitter old bettys who thinks only the older more mature content is worth watching! I will definitely watch it soon. I really liked I Will Knock You for example.
I found the NC scenes in LITA hilarious more than anything. but they were cute. Lmao! It definitely had some good character moments though. I especially liked Prai and Sky's moments like you mentioned. And If you haven't already, you should probably add The Wedding Plan to your watchlist since I heard it's another Mame adaption. Lol I haven't seen it yet, but I plan to at some point.
I am behind on the JoongDunk content, but I will check it out for those babies. I was VERY upset when I learned Mek had left GMMTV after he did such a great job recently in The Player and as Daonuea's brother. I didn't find out until JoongDunk's Our Skyy 2 episodes.
Thank you for the kind wishes. I hope you have a great week as well! And thanks for the friend invite!

Guuurl, I tried to get through that Love Syndrome mess but Drake was finnah make me strangle his a** with all that crying about cake! I could only do one episode before dropping. But let me know if it gets any better if you do watch it, I'll try to give those babies another chance. lol
I keep forgetting to finish Love in the Air, but I did think it was a good one. I tend to start a lot of shows but always end up losing track because of work or cause I started on another series. Haven't had a chance to watch MSP, but I thought Forth and Gemini did great work in Moonlight Chicken. So I'm still planning to watch MSP when I'm in the mood for another school drama again. That and the rest of My Only 12%.
I think the other two you mentioned were Semantic Error and Cherry Blossom After Winter? You hit me with too many acronyms... But loved both of those shows to pieces if these were the ones you were talking about. It's always hard for me to go back to rewatch dramas though. Since I try to avoid obsessing over them. It's more of a defense mechanism for myself since it was hard for me to get over BL dramas when I first got into BLs years ago(probably because there weren't many at the time).
I liked Golden Blood but Gun was definitely not one of those reasons. That poor boy cain't act to save his life(and it didn't improve for LS). Boat(the second male lead in GB) is the one who should be getting the lead roles instead... I don't like to gossip but Gun MUST be having folks pulling strings for him at this point. lol It's the only thing that makes sense to me.

I'm glad you're well! I haven't had time to finish 8th Sense, but I will put some time aside to do it. BLs have definitely not been hitting the same for me either. I feel like we've moved into a new generation of BL, where the passion and creativity isn't at the level it used to be(aside from GMMTV of course). La Pluie was a cute drama though, I think you will like it. Definitely not one of the best, but I had a good time with it. Luminous Solutions was a confusing mess! I don't know what they were trying to do with that bootleg Michelle Yeoh, but it wasn't working for me. I had to put Laws of Attraction on hold, since the IQ subs were again super ratchet like their other series. Usually they fix them in a week, so I would hold off on that one for now.

Hey there, bestie! π
I've been good. Just been doing more gaming lately, so I haven't been as active in our little community. I hope you've been good too!
Yes, I've defended this series since the beginning, but fair is fair and wrong is wrong. It had its moments of brilliance, but they blundered quite a bit in the back-half. I was at least happy to see that Ae and Chot became besties like I had wanted. I just knew those two would click, and it was even better than I imagined. These two deserve to be together on screen again.
What's on your watchlist right now? The new Cherry Magic trailer looks good, and I'm excited for JamFilm's new show this week(Laws of Attraction).
He was acting like drunk, what do you expect? ππ€·π»ββοΈ
For what, sweetheart? The singing? The reason it was so bad isn't my concern. The scene just didn't work for me, but I'm glad you enjoyed it though, π
I'll just leave that those last few episodes wasn't it for me. The regression of Pat's character was too much for me and I thought Jeng deserved so much better... and Pat can't sing for sh**! It was one of the few times I needed to mute and FF a scene to save my sanity.
- I'm pretty sure Ae had a daughter, but somehow they're saying it's a boy now? I also didn't like how easily her problems with her bff were wrapped up. Seemed like a total waste of time and build up. If it was going to be resolved that easily, they should've just given that time to Jaab and Jane. - Jaab and Jane went total MIA and had a very poor ending. I cannot believe the writers did them this dirty. - None of the antagonist paid for their horrible behavior. I especially wanted Chris' mama to get hers. That heffa had the nerve to fix her mouth to lie on Jeng and Pat on live tv. - No resolution with Jeng's father or mother. The conflict didn't feel resolved at all, and I suspect the daddy will just do something to trick Pat again into breaking up with Jeng soon.
Loved the cast in this though, and most of the series. I don't feel I wasted my time. If they're planning a season two I would advise much better pacing and writing overall. Jeng, Chot, and Ae were the standouts for me. I will miss them.
That divorce was some real sh**. Daddy wanted travel and family time to be the top priority while ignoring the financial demands that were steadily building, while mama wanted more financial stability and a life of her own. She may seem selfish to others who don't understand her situation but it is often that the women in the relationship are expected to give up everything and be the caretakers of the family. No career, no time for themselves. Just total devotion to their husbands and children. She wasn't about that life and I can't knock her for wanting more, but I think the important thing here is how the father never seemed to try to hold her back.
She kept cancelling on their plans that she promised and wasn't making any effort to spend time with her husband and children... That's where I think sis did her wrong. Your career should be a priority, but never to the point that you neglect your marriage and children to that capacity. And her saying none of that family time mattered wasn't fair to the father or her children either. But things aren't as simple as finding the perfect job and managing everything at the drop of a dime in real life. For her, she had to make a choice, and the financial stability was the most important thing for their family to thrive. It's an unfortunate thing, but it's a decision many families(especially poor ones), are forced to choose between(family time and work).
This is why people shouldn't have children until they know they're prepared for it first. They both knew that going in, so she is not free of blame. When you get married and have children, you are taking on a responsibility to manage your time with those people.
I haven't commented on any of the drama between Patt, Tai, Lomfon, and Tien. For me it's just the things that new couples tend to go through and struggle with. Those babies are all just insecure about their relationship/feelings. I don't think anyone has done anything beyond redemption. They have all made mistakes(save for probably Tien).
and I don't think we needed the crying session for Patt. lol
While everyone fights over which character should be hated the most, I'm just here enjoying how exceptionally good the tea is in this show. Hats off to the writers!
The timeline was definitely confusing in this episode... I'm not sure why they didn't give us a caption to let us know how much time was passing by, but other than that I enjoyed the episode. Ae's water breaking and delivery was hilarious and I died when she dragged that cop for calling her an aunt and telling Khanun he's getting pregnant next time. I thought the baby delivery was funny, dramatic, and sweet in the right moments, and I really liked how it all turned out to be an event that impacted all the major characters in the show.
It hurt me to see Jeng breakdown, and I believe Pat could've went easier on him with the rejection, and that whole scene with Jane calling Jeng's actions bad was unwarranted. I get what the whole scene was about, but I think it completely glosses over all the nuance and reasons Jeng has been careful not to overstep. He's his superior, is older, and is much better off than Pat is. So he just can't go hitting on his employees whenever he wants or be so open about his advances. It seems neither of them really understand this.
And I get where Pat is coming from. Jeng is what I would call a 'Peak Man'. He has it all going for him: Money, beauty, maturity, compassion, etc... So for him Jeng feels unreachable, so he doubts his reasons for liking him. It's a terrible place to be with yourself and I've been there. His relationship with his parents were beautiful character moments to me. I think he will learn to understand Jeng and his own self worth in time, and I thought this was a good episode to cover those issues.
I haven't had any issues with the pacing. I really like that it takes its time to tell everything in a non-conformative fashion. Almost like how real life tends to unfold. I usually go in not expecting anything specific and I usually come out pleased every time.
I'm glad you brought up Ae and the friend because I DEFINITELY felt like something was going on between them or…
See, that's exactly what I mean! And I feel like sis can sense it but is trying to ignore the signals. It's almost too loud for her not to see. I'm really wondering how this is all going to turn out. We already got the stuff with Jaab and Jane, but this one can have a much MUCH larger blowback...
π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£Sis Chot is all of us trying to get the tea. She readddyyyy for Patty to spill it. You…
Exactly! Bruce totally owns this role and certainly brightens the mood at the most appropriate moments for the series. He's saucy but not messy, and I think that's an important distinction.
I love his style, his flare, and his chemistry with his bf and with Pat. And sis makes the best facial expressions. I really hope nothing bad happens to him after the whole doctor visit.
π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£Sis Chot is all of us trying to get the tea. She readddyyyy for Patty to spill it. You…
I definitely agree! Chot and Ae would have the best chemistry together as bffs. Hopefully we get to see them interact soon.
Put is undoubtably super insecure and I think Jeng knows. Everything he's doing has just been petty attempts to one-up Jeng, and it's totally self serving. I really like that Jeng's mostly unbothered by Put's antics and is confident in the person he knows he can be for Pat.
While Put uses every dirty trick in the book, Jeng's has shown unwavering patience and support for Pat in everything. Being truly authentic in his actions.
I'm not sure how he and Put previously know each other, but maybe there was some bad blood that hasn't been revealed about them yet.
π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£Sis Chot is all of us trying to get the tea. She readddyyyy for Patty to spill it. You…
I'm dead at "Patty"! LOL I was screaming the whole time when Chot was trying to chase them down. They completely nailed that scene. I am LOVING Bruce's character in this. Especially in contrast to his character in Lovely Writer.
YES, I know there's a loooong line out the building for Daddy Jeng, but a seat I will not take for that man! Jeng is PEAK MAN. Poor Put never stood a chance with Pat once he showed up, and I really do feel for that child...
You said a husband and a baby daddy! TOO FUNNY! Ae is doing her thing and I can't be mad at her. She got baby daddy working while hubby is home keeping her company. πππ
Does anyone know what that message on twitter or was it Instagram on Pat's phone, looked like it had something…
It was Ae quoting a picture of Put's Twitter page. Put basically 'went dark'. A way of deactivating your social media page without actually deactivating. You make your profile blank to let people know you're stepping away.
The message was Ae asking Put "What's going on?", and below the message was a Put fan account saying his IG was blacked out as well.
Baby I KNOW they ain't just tease us with DADDY JENG IN THAT TOWEL!!? Chilllle...
Solid episode for me!
- Put is a slimy worm and a major red flag. I am so glad Pat saw through his little charade and shut it down, And I really wonder if he'd still feel guilty about the breakup if he knew everything Put's been doing behind his back. - Chot is totally my old a** tryna chase Pat down to get the tea on his new man. - Jeng is such a humble and thoughtful man. I knew it from the start he would be true husband material once he knew how to apply his more extreme tendencies to the right things. If Pat doesn't take this man soon I'm gonna scream. - Jaab and Jane's fight was the much needed progress I was looking for. Now we just have to wait for Jaab to get himself together and make this right. - Ae seems to be intuitive on everything except for the loud sexual tension she keeps having with her friend... Maybe she knows and just wants to avoid the issue for now? I feel like she realizes she vibes more with her friend but couldn't do anything out of sympathy for Khanun, I feel like things would've happened sooner had she not realized she was pregnant and then got the proposal. A whole mess if that's the case... Still love her. - The dancing between Pat and Jeng was cute, I think it was probably one of their best scenes of them bonding naturally, since most of the others had lots of awkward tension. I think this episode really broke the subordinate and boss role between the two. - Pat is totally me breaking down in shock when I realize I have a chance with Jeng.
