I need to know what the deal is with P and Dew. The dramatic outfits, plushies, and strict adherence to traditional…
I also really wanna know what their REAL characters, outside of the public eye is like. Dew is not as innocent and P is not as caring as he shows himself to be and they both know how the other is and have come to terms with it but hide it from the public to rise to the top together. I swear if P is behind the gossip acct., I've called it! lol Everyone is not what they seem to be and it's gonna be exciting to find out their real motivations. I also wanna know how PDew got to where they are. Were they exploited? Did they come from rich families and got their acting gigs through connection or did they work hard like everyone else... sooo many questions.
Yes! This series literally spills the tea on what's really going on behind the scenes in the BL industry. A lot…
For KP, it's what the writers did and also the "plot" for Season 2 they put out. You can find more info on twitter or TikTok about this but it's disgusting how these "adults" in the industry treat these young actors.
This is why I'm so thankful for Saint who created Idol Factory as a safe space to protect his artists. BillySeng, HengPrise, FreenBeck and etc are in safe hands and I hope these big companies really do something about the corruption. smh
Yes! This series literally spills the tea on what's really going on behind the scenes in the BL industry. A lot of secrets and hidden things have been revealed in real life (Esp the past few months, from KP to Today where a major player in the BL industry under GMMTV was arrested).
There are so many hard hitting plots in this series and I think if more people were to watch it, they wouldn't have to live in a bubble where all their favorite actors are happy and are ok. It made me more aware of myself as a fan and that the more fans Thai BL has, the more we might be able to protect those wee love by brining the world's attention to it.
Question, are you watching the cut or uncut version? A lot of people who watched it on sites other than YouTube…
Ok good. Also everyone has different taste so no worries. But watching this series shows us if we understand and empathize with others who may be different from us. Because most BL shows keep recycling the same story previously done and casting different actors to play it.
SCOY in itself is such a unique and beautiful concept where those who were never had real representation in other BL shows, were the center of attention here and some didn’t like it cuz it was not the “norm” they were used to.
I personally love it to pieces and I think it did what it was supposed to do and that’s start a conversation. The actors who played Nuea and Toh were in another series called War of Y that aired a couple of months ago and people that dropped SCOY were amazed at their chemistry and most went back to watch SCOY … I’m proud of all the actors in SCOY for putting themselves out there as rookie actors and killing it! 😍💙🤍
They made all the Uke in all 3 stories unlikable. Thats new, and should appreciated lol.Second, I never liked…
I almost agree lol. The first story with Pan... I never found him unlikable, just sad and I felt really bad for him starting from ep. 1 as I saw signs of abuse and the effect it had on him.. I could understand him. Now the 2nd one... well, I kinda get what her went through but the character itself was blah... for me. Peak.. well I cant say much as I have not watched the last two episodes yet but I'll probably come to your conclusion once I do lol
I think if they had taken it a bit more seriously and not so cringe this could have been a stellar BL. It has…
But that was literally the point of the series. It wasn’t made to be sugar coated or make us comfortable. The exaggeration and screaming and etc is literally the way the side characters of all BL series acted and were portrayed as the laughing stock of the series. And No one had an issue with them in these other series but when they became the main characters on SCOY, everyone is up in arms about it and it shows the discrimination fems/trans and most lgbtq+ community that is not masculine or handsome are treated.
A lot of us find it cringe or embarrassing cuz it seemed like it was making us face the mirror and come to terms with what we hide in our private lives and to see Toh doing that on the screen made us feel called out. Also, there was no stalking involved (even tho. The title suggests it)
"Stalking is behavior wherein an individual willfully and repeatedly engages in a knowing course of harassing conduct directed at another person, which reasonably and seriously alarms, torments, or terrorizes that person."
Everything listed above doesn't even come close to what Toh is doing. Yes he collects stuff but the only pictures we see in his bedroom are those of school events. He never followed Nuea outside of school, even in school, he literally walks away after he takes a pic or sees him for a few seconds. He never really interfered with Nuea's life. Also his friends are always there to direct him to what's right, aka reining him from his collecting. The series is not condoning collecting behavior, it's actually showing how his friends are there helping him with trying to get him to stop. As we see, Toh is not confident in their relationship as he thinks Nuea would leave him any second... while Nuea is also afraid Toh would leave him, esp. after finding his collection because now he realizes how Toh collecting things even after they start dating shows how uncertain he is.
Now if we talk about stalkers, i’d direct your attention to Kong (who kept stalking Toh, even to the bathroom.) And let’s not forget Greene in 2gether the series and how he stalked Tine. But his actions were excused cuz he wasn’t the lead while Toh, who never stalked Nuea gets hated on for literally existing…
I might be too attached to these characters but I feel like someone needs to explain how it really is and what it means to most of us. 💙
I beg to differ 🥰. I hope you watched it in its entirety before coming to the conclusion cuz there is much…
Everything I wrote makes it a wonderful and Epic series for me… your opinion is just that, yours. I respect it but disagree completely as the representation, story line and impact it had in my life and most who relate to the characters lives as well. Like I said u don’t have to like it at all…we already like it so no worries 🥰💙
Lol… honestly I’ve been delaying in watching the 3rd story cuz it seems more messy than the 2nd one. I loved the 1st story so much and the acting of these other stories are good but the story line keeps getting messier and I’m sure there is irl stuff that happens as well but idk
