I'm a little confused and would like to understand so please correct me if I'm wrong about what you've written…
"there were Alphas in the drama in the first season. There is also very obvious references to scent/pheromones right from the beginning. The novel itself does include Alphas and Omegas" The Author of the novel said that Pit Babe 2 is not Omegaverse. I said, it doesn't matter as the first season wasn't really an Omegaverse world anyway. Yes, they talk about Apha's, etc... but it wasn't the thing that made the story. It was all about their abilities. Omegaverse is only about sub/dom. That's not the case in season 1 and will apparently not be the case in season2 either. So, what I mean is that people shouldn't focus on this and should only focus on the story because, to me, it never felt like an Omegaverse anyway. It is a fantasy story.
I think many of you are not really familiar with Omegaverse. You only know a bit, and only turned into the sexual aspect. But Omegaverse is a reference to wolves and the hierarchy among them. It has absolutely NO RELATION to the fact that a man can get pregnant. But yes, many Omegaverse use it often because of the sub/dom aspect, but not always. For Exemple BIG DRAGON was suppose to have male pregnancy (it's in the book yet not in the drama) but it's not an omegaverse. Other books or manga like "Boku no Kawaii Ninpu-sama", "Blood Link" and "Ayakashi Tsukai no Yome Sagashi" who is about DNA or interspecies relationships. So yes, there was no Alpha or Omega in the drama in the first season, just the possibility of men becoming pregnant. Nobody release hormones that influence Alphas, or have heat, etc... So please, learn a bit before saying that I'm wrong that we didn't see Omegaverse. We saw only one trait that can be adjusted as we want (superpower and abilities for example).
It's funny they say "it's not omegaverse". I didn't see much of it in the first season if they didn't say it in the first episode. So it won't change anything anyway...
I am very disappointed. In the webtoon, the best friend disappear very quickly from the story to focus on the BL story. Here, we are on episode 7 and still, they are just learning about the straight couple. Yes the main character is BL, but the focus on his best friend's love story makes it like he's a side character of the story. It's like watching a love story on the side line without being included. In the webtoon, the love story of the best friends are not pushed so far, for the reader to see the connection between the two mains. Yet, here, I don't see it. One is a lier who instead of finding another excuse to free his best friend to her own love life, he keeps everyone think he loves her. On the other hand, the other one is so focus on pushing them together that he is completely oblivious that his best friend is a full straight guy who will never see him as anything than a brother. He just started now to realize that his feelings are fading? I understand that some people may like it, but for me I'm like watching a car crash. In fact, I found Twinkling Watermelon more exiting in unrequited love story. It may not be BL, but the love stories were much more intense! We can't blame the cast. They are acting perfectly and have years of acting already. But the director Park Kyung Min seem like he's not confortable with a BL story. Unfortunately, with Korea getting closer to America, BL stories will be pushed aside more and more. Companies are just doing it to promote their young artists but don't really care about the story as long as it can be thought as BL. Just write a line to suggest it, and BANG... it's BL... Of course, it will have a kiss or two, but you know... not the passionate kiss of lovers, but like a kiss for a dare when drunk. Well, it's Korean BL so I never expect much since it's FilmK and Park Kyung Min first BL. So I will see. is the ending gonna be as bad as I think?
If you have watched the first part, you quickly realize that many issues have not been resolved. The second season is confirmed, but it was already talked about while finishing the first part. So, for those who "don't understand why", its because sometimes, to have the full story, you need more than one season. Not only by respect for the fans, but also by respect o the original story. Now, the hope is that they don't screw up!!!
I wouldnt say cheaper....for me it felt more" down to earth"...more realistic....and yeah...maybe that version…
Well, from what I saw on the trailer for the next episodes, it will get steamy... However, the novel is very "expensive lifestyle" kind of novel. THEY, look like regular guys. So you call this "down to earth" but they are supposed to be flowing with money. After all, its a gang. But they are very cute. The car scene that relace the toilet scene was funny. It could have been sexy, but they made it funny instead.
Maybe we didn't watch the same movie...Kissed? I haven't seen any kiss... Has it been cut from the international…
Ho, I believe you. I never said I didn't. Its just not like a full love kiss. When I kiss my boyfriend it's passionate. this was just... "oups, I kissed you!"
It's not porn, but the ligne isn't clear. Sometimes you don't need any contact show you to love someone. Some…
Queerbaiting refers to the practice of implying non-heterosexual relationships or attraction (in a TV show, for example) to engage or attract an LGBTQ audience or generate interest without ever actually depicting such relationships or sexual interactions.
Unfortunately, it's not the case here. Even if there is no physical contact, it is a love story. The focus is on those two characters relationship and no other element seems to intervene in their relationship appart from their own choices. 911 is more queebaiting than this movie. They don't push us to believe they are in love by making them acting like "bro", but they have a bond you only create with someone you love.
It's a bit of both I guess. They will show behind the scenes videos, and a short "conclusion" of the show. But it's mostly something done for the fan meeting. We'll certainly see this on YouTube soon after!
What I like is that they are more "straight looking". In the Thai version, who would think Rain was attracted to girls ??? Japan will make a "cute" version I think. Certainly less sex, and the budget may not be the same either (it looks much cheaper than the Thai version). So I hope the cast will do an amazing job. I mean, I LOVE Japanese BL because it's always about emotions more than anything else.
The comments have disappeared, someone doesn't want the truth getting out it seems? But Ritchie heron and chloe…
And if you are human you shut the fuck up, because you have NO RIGHTS to speak for him. Not unless you are trans yourself. If he wants to, he will. But as long as he's happy, anyone who tries to hurt him by saying bullshit like this is dead to me and deserve nothing but the worse. You have no love in your heart but hatred. You speak things by watching stupid people who made mistakes and blame others. They have psychological problems and will never have any sympathy from me. To me, they are like children blaming others for the decision they made. And you, you condamne innocent people just because you hate trans. The only thing you have proven is how transphobic, person you are and I don't wanna hear anything more from you as you have nothing intelligente to show me. Trans exist for decades and nobody complained then. But now, we have this new trend? To me it's just pathetic. And YOU are nothing but a biggot to listen to lies. So, like many of those stupid Americans who voted for Trump, you are not intelligent enaugh to even continue a conversation with me!
It's not porn, but the ligne isn't clear. Sometimes you don't need any contact show you to love someone. Some…
Queerbaiting is linked to sex. Otherwise, it's just being a gigolo. Straight men undressing in front of gay men for money exist since the 1970s. Now it's on the internet and people starts seing it as Queerbaiting. But to me that not it. A straight guy pretending to be gay on dating app to beat them up, that's queerbaiting. It's a trap (from "bait"). This movie wasn't a trap. It's a love story between two men. "Queerbaiting to earn pink money"? Are you that superficial? What I need to know id how YOU think this was a trap for gays? I mean, it's not an action movie, or even a fantasy movie. It's not a comedy, or, as I say in the big way, porn!!! So in what category would you think that is? Bromance? Can't be. Nobody write a book about their best friend and the experience they shared. But a straight man, or women, would for the person they love in regular movie. So why if it's in a BL it's not gay? I mean look at the society we live in, and the one in the movie. Do you think a straight man would write about another man openly? To resume, yes it's a BL movie. I may have gone far with porn, but it was to make my point. Use word carefully. This is far from queerbaiting. You expected physical contact or maybe few kisses, but it's a movie that will be sold internationally. Many countries would ban it if is has any physical contact. They are not selling the movie as gay, but as a love story.
(B)alloon's (L)anding - Such a clever Queerbaiting gimmick.
It's not porn, but the ligne isn't clear. Sometimes you don't need any contact show you to love someone. Some feel like it's not normal to want it with someone of the same sex. Yet, love is not something you can control. Of course, the movie doesn't show other things people like them could have done. After all, it's a movie shown in cinemas. So don't judge because you feel disappointed of the absence of physical contact. If it was a man and a woman, you wouldn't even think it was anything but love. Why not for them?

They need to STOP selling BL actors like porn stars... this is CHEAP, very CHEAP. In Thailand, the only way to…
Gosh, people watching BL are shocked by sex scenes??? Are we living in the 1920s? Don't YOU have sex? It's like you want love stories without sex... So watch an american series! You will see hot guys never have sex and pretend it's only friendship. Because, hard to break it to you, but men LOVE sex. So imagine a world were being gay wasn't a problem. Don't you think don't you think it would be more fun? Straight guys can have their fun openly but not the gays? 30 Shades of Grey was popular, but a BL series is shocking for the minority that watches it? Plus, it's not real, it's fake, with a fake penis. Honestly, do you think an actor would do it for real? Sex in BL exist since the 80s, so why in 2024 you are still shocked? I mean Queer as Folk wasn't a soft series in the UK and USA, and its from the late 90s and Charlie Hunnam did it without thinking "Gosh it's too much" and he was only 19. Those actors are in their late 20s. And for your information, BL come from Yaoi manga from Japan, with some sex scenes in them too, and that since the 70s. It's time to learn a bit about the history of BL for Christ sake!!!
