It's very different. Jazz for two is cute, but as I said, I was a bit disappointed. Of course, it's also because I am a BIG webtoon reader and knows most of the BL one. Same with Manga. To me, between the two, Semantic Error was better. The acting, but also the fact the kept the main storyline. Of course, they didn't continue the "after" they get together because it would become closer to Thai BL with a lot of sex scenes! lol

Learning that, yes, he cheated but no, it wasn't abuse made me feel better.
We just have to remind Our self that homosexuality is NOT ok in many countries.
Taiwan may have rights that we have in the US or France, but those countries have also big discrimination towards LGBTQI+, far from Thailand or Canada. And that cheating was when Jiang Tian was a kid. The marriage for LGBT in Taiwan was in 2019. Before that, they had no rights whatsoever AND was a shame to families (still today). So the man married, had a kid, but felt in love with another man. We still on't know if his wife knew.
The director want to make a second season. He already has the story but the budget will depend on the success of the first season. I loved it!!!
A mix of fun and emotions. Kim Woo Bin is sexy (loved the blond hair, even at 35) AND funny.

I have watched many many cooking shows. first with the British, then Americans. But after more than a decade, I wasn't even surprised anymore. This one is something new. Having nameless chef is curent, but having them competing against the most notorious chefs in Korea, that is so amazing. No chefs around the world would have put their name in the ring to prove they're the best. They are mainly known by reputation. Those Korean chefs are willing to do it, with the same pressure than regular contestant and on TV. But not a Korean tv, but Netflix!!!

Ok, so I tried my best to look into various media to get informations.
First, the BL should be released on PPeach, a Chinese LGBT short video platform. Sun Zhong Yang has already played in this sort of platform in a BL called Summer Love Letter. Those BLs are from the Mainland China, not from Taiwan. Those platforms, because they are not managed by the Chinese government like the TV, they can make LGBT content. Don't forget that even if they cannot promote in China, they can use Twitter (X), Facebook and other platforms. However, since the broadcast of "Uncle Doesn't Know" has attracted widespread attention on social media, it has been widely discussed to also be shared on platforms such as Douyin, Weibo and Bilibili. In particular, the plot introduction of "Uncle Doesn't Know" has always been the topic of most fans.

Well, its a normal relationship. Sex is part of it. I love sex like that in real life, so it is not shocking to me, but I guess an asexual would find it disturbing! For my part, I'm not, and as I read the comments I guess other aren't either. Gay, yes, I am... but a sexual one. So, if you don't like it, watch something else. I agree with you about the manga Kieta Hatsukoi. Not so much about the Japanese version of the drama. The Japanese BL made in 2021 was created before the manga was finished, so they took some freedom in the writing of the last few episodes. BUT, a remake can't be a plagiarism either. Making the exact same series with exactly the same story is not legal. So, they took some liberties from the main story. That's why the characters don't have the same name, and a few things have been changed. It's difficult to write something from the same book or manga and be original at the same time, especially that the first series was popular because of Meguro Ren and Michieda Shunsuke who were already popular in Japan as idols.
I agree that the story seems weak sometimes, but we are only half way. Even the Japanese version didn't go as far. The best part from the manga is when they are in relationship. And that has just started.
But your argument is fair and I can see your point. But remember what I said, it connot be plagiarism from an other drama.

Ok, so FIRST yes they changed the sexual orientation of the teachers. But its not a big deal from the main storyline. It's a preference from the director. I don't agree to it, but here we are..
Secondly, yes the other main couple look amazing, they make the first main couple more real in the difficulties they are facing due to their gender. Gemini fourth would have looked very doll if we had nobody underlining them. But it's the same in the manga.
Third, as much as you try to convince me you have read the manga, the argument is weak. The Japanese version was written before the manga was over and it was, to me, missing the good ending and the BL relationship from the manga. The choice the director made was to be closer to the manga. Unfortunately for some of you, you don't see how it is difficult to play inside emotions and inner thoughts that you can easily write in a manga, but difficult to play in a drama.
Lastly, in the manga, Sota (Atom in the Thai version) IS annoying. But to be honest, how can a 18 years old virgin with no experience and in love with someone of the same sex wouldn't be. Especially if hes in love with the best and good looking student of the class? Wouldn't you think that he's not for you? Wouldn't you be scared that people would look down on you by being with him? I think many people can't relate to him because they have A LOT of ego and think they can have anyone they want. I'm not like that. I use to question myself often when I was young. Fourth doesn't do anything more than what is already in the manga. He's even less annoying because he's close to the character's behavior off set and we know him like that.
So yes, maybe you don't like the story. But did you have to be mean just because I disagree with some comments? didn't single you out as far as I know!!!
