Title A Secretly Love Spoiler
At this point (ep 2) I find Prod to be a little desperate. Pluem is straight, been with 20 women already. Prod…
Mu gosh, do we watch the same drama???
Yes, he is in love, but it is his right to love whoever!!

Before my twenties, I never had any boyfriends, and I had a lot of girlfriends (not 20, but a few). So, when I had my first crush on a guy, I already knew that I was bi. So what make you think that Pluem is not the same? Because he's cute and manly? Well, my first boyfriend was a rugby player, so what do that prove?

People have a lot of prejudice towards gay people and your comment makes me very worried for people like me in a society more and more homophobic!

Concerning his friends, well, his mother is sick and he has to work on top of been an engineering student! Have you been in university while working and taking care of the only member left in your family? All that while seeing someone he likes been rejected over and over. I find that courageous and cute. At least he's a fighter!

Cutie Pie is much better than Bed Friend
Hoo, so you could be my mum. lol!!!
Well, America is not really a reference concerning LGBTQI+ rights.
I'm from the UK an live in France. The birth of Gay rights. In view of what's happening in the US, I am not sure if NYC is a picture of "gays"!
Asia is behind in terms of gay acceptation, yet, BL (yaoi) is Asian and it was first made by women for women.

So the dramas are the same. But with a large community of LGBTQI+ behind it, conservatives and religious extremists see it as "gay propaganda from Asia", putting Korea in a difficult spot in terms of international negotiation. Russia and China, and the whole Muslim and Christian communities are making our lives Hell. Jews, Black Americans and now gays.... Always someone to blame in the name of religious believes!

I wish Europe would protect Gay rights the same way they did for other communities!!! But I can dream...

Ho yes, I completely agree if you're watching p.rn. But here its a drama.

Being "hot" is relative to who sees it. I don't find any of the "hot", because they look like babies to me. But some are cute. If you take Zee Pruk for exemple, who has a very nice body, and put him with NuNew, tell me if you think they're both "hot"? I don't think so. Some also call Boss Chaikamon an attractive guy. So who do you qualify as Hot to do s.x scenes?
Also, in real life, do you seriously think that people who don't look like models, or older people don't have s.x?

What I dont like with "bott.ms" characters is that they make them over the top. In the novels, they're not that flamboyant. But woman (because, at the end, BL are mostly written for women) want sassy characters that they want to identify with in some way. But if you take "The Sign", they tried to do something more attractive to the gay audience. Billy Patchanon is the "hot" guy and Babe Tanatat is the cutie. No much s.x in it but good bodies.

If you like Hot guys with lots of s.xual content, watch Playboyy. It's not a very good drama, and the "b.ttoms" are very lady boys like. Yet, some are good looking. The "alpha" males are more like bodybuilders. Not really what I like, but you can enjoy.

I prefer Yim Pharinyakorn in his real self like on his insta (@mynameis_yim) !!! And I kinda like his shipping with Tutor. But we have all different taste in men, and in beauty. Mine is more like Izuka Kenta (37), Bruce Sirikorn (31) or even Telly Leung (43).

You find Jade unlikable? Really?
To me, I found him innocent. The kind of guy I want to protect (you need to learn more about gay relationships). As much as I like "hot guys", I am more into cute men who I feel are more into trust than having a hot boyfriend.
But, to come back to Yim's character, he can be irritating sometimes with how he is with Mai. Yet, with his background (not explicit enough in the drama but more in the novel), he was never put first, so he always saw himself as a background character. So when Mai shows interest, he can't really handle it. The over acting was a (bad) choice Cheewin (The director). He made the same choice with some over acting in Playboyy. He is one of the FIRST thai producer in Thailand, so you can see that he grew up with some "classic" Thai drama references. He grew close to
Andy Rachyd Kusolkulsiri (Me, My Familiar People (2013)) who you see some references on Playboyy.
Of course, today we are more accustom to a more modern and international approche to BL. Yet, he's only 31 and a huge influence in the BL industry. He is also very flamboyant, that would also explain why all is "bottom" characters are so extreme.

So yes, I can understand why you may have difficulties with the character, I still think that sometime you need to look who is behind the camer and the reason of the actor acting that way.

I didn't !!! Well, now I am not surprise of why I saw similarities !!!It just shows that Tu Punnasak Sukee has…
Well... I don't agree with everything you just said. I feel like you are comparing stories of black people to white people. Gay and straight people have definitely not the same set of mind regarding relationships and love. For straight people, it's a given, and they can be open about it and show it to the world. Gays in the other hand... Well, look how the world (now including the USA) treats LGBTQI+ We became a "propaganda". Its not about love, it's a "disease", and it goes "against religion". So how can we remake a BL with straight people? Dont you see how China does BL with making it about friendship instead? They dont make it straight! Why? because men to men relationships (including friendship) are completely different than men to woman. The love between men is faster as the connection is easier. That's why many friend to lover BL exists, it's because gay lovers are also friends and share similarities.

180° without the BL wouldn't it be just a regular love triangle? But the issues of being from different generation, and being gay in a society that doesn't accept you is not only an inner demon, but a fear itself (being gay myself from the 80s, I understand the feeling).
7 days before Valentine also couldn't be the same with a straight couple. If the guy was straight, and the lover was a girl, it would be a stalker syndrome. Gays are more "obsessive" over relationships, because it's not easy, we are scare of being older and not be able to attracted.
Gays are mostly about physical appearance (less for lesbians), because we are not much different than straight guys in that way, even more so.

I also don't really agree that ALL bls are fluffy. If you watch Japanese Bls for exemple, its often very heavy. (More Than Words (2022), Does the Flower Bloom (2018), or even more "hardcore" like The Cornered Mouse Dreams of Cheese (2020), The Novelist (2018)) . And lets not forget BL movies from Taiwan like Your Name Engraved Herein (2020) or Dear Tenant (2020).
And if you take the most popular country like Thailand, dramas like He She It (2019) or Not Me (2021) are not what I would call "fluffy". Some may have romance but are also a bit dark like The Eclipse (2022), Until We Meet Again & Between Us (2019 - 2023).
The Miracle of Teddy Bear (2022) is about homophobia from the father. I have seen it, but I didn't really enjoy how they made up the love story in it. The "bear" becoming human and the short lived "love story" made me uneasy. Especially with the boyfriend in the comas. I felt like something was wrong all the way to the end. BUT, the drama part was good, and the actress playing the mother was amazing!

In Korea, its mostly in movies you'll see drama closer to life like In Between Seasons (2018), Brake (2019) or A Distant Place (2021).

I hope you watch those dramas with an open mind because they're not those "favorite BL" that you'll see everywhere, but they are real close to reality. And I didn't include Chinese BL because they disappeared from the web (I still have them), and are really hard to watch (r.pe, broken youth, homophobia) and they are mostly the reason China has banned BL, because it criticize the system against LGBTQI+ in China.

I didn't !!! Well, now I am not surprise of why I saw similarities !!!
It just shows that Tu Punnasak Sukee has his own way to make BL dramas and , maybe because I work in theater, I could see what he did and the beauty of the dramas. Thank you or your comment and information. But why did you say they're not BL? I don't understand what you mean!

This drama won’t be anytime happening because it been 4 years 💀😭
All filming had already been completed and the rating review was completed in July 2022, but the release schedule became unclear due to the suspension of the supply of paid original content on Kakao TV from April 28, 2023.

Well, I can see that you're not a fan of BL stories. Without it, no friendship between the brothers, and no "secrets"... Yet you think it wasn't needed? You could just have said that "you didn't like the character being gay and you would have prefer he was straight with a girlfriend". Even if the story wouldn't have make sense ? For me, this whole drama could just have much been a BL just by changing the roles between the girl and the gay guy... lol

“the closet thing to MaxTul” .. You’ve got to f be kidding me !! Tell me you’re kidding !!! MaxTul and…
I am quiet shocked by comments like this. First MaxTul were friends. They are not in a relationship. Max had a girlfriend (actress Mook Woranit Thawornwong) and may be bisexual and Tul is definitely gay.

MosBank, on the other hand are together for real. They said it on their live, and in various interviews. Their chemistry is also very genuine. I was not a fan of Isbanky but he grew on me after watching him live on TikTok. He's very honest. Mos is kinda cute in his own way. Compare to MaxTul, we can see two friends who are genuine about who they are to each other : brothers!!!
MosBank, on the other hand are different and I don't think it's fair to judge them for their look alone. The chemistry exist for them too, even more so as they became a couple.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but they also told everyone that MaxTul was over. Tul is with Mew and Max will mainly play straight character roles and apart from Tul. They stay brothers but want to draw a line to protect their friendship.

I hope seriously that they would include the BL side of the story and even develop it more, and not rush the ending like the webtoon. Many readers were disappointed by the ending because Yoon Ho Young is, without realizing it, in love with Lee Sang Yoo. It would be fun to have a better ending than having him being just a fan!

It's not that I know them personally. I just want people to be fair and honest about actors. Getting older means also knowing how to act better in various roles. And youngsters are often trained by those actors too. Yes, I am a big tv fan, but I always select them by the actors skills. So for some, I watched all their drama, others, I didn't watch any. Acting skills is really important to me to focus on the drama.

Yes, of course. I didn't say Na was useless in his job. But he could have done it from Korea too. He could have made Choi Seungcheol the host by video like Ru Paul's do on Drag Race on other countries. The talent show and games, even if it was funny, it was also something we've seen MANY TIMES before. No imagination, and that's from a game creator...

Everyone is focus on Na? Really? I agree, it is like youth over flowers, yet it's not. Why? Because it's mainly a promotional show and NOT THE SAME TITLE. Seventeen have a new tour, a new album, a new MV... It's focused 100% on them and Na is there in the background.

Is it Korean to make the show about the creator? I mean why doesn't King of Mask Singer didn't put Seo Chang-man name on the title. After all, he's the creator of this, now, international show!!!

Na is a variety game show and traveling show creator. I don't say he is useless on what he does. I am talking about THIS particular show and how ME, MYSELF AND I feel about him in here, and why he put his name on the title. It feels to me more like he wanted HIS NAME be associated with Seventeen, even if we barely see him anywhere.

20 years he's been doing those kind of shows. People loves him and I do like some of his shows too, but I never seen his name on any off them. The games in the show have been seen before. Even the "talent show" could have been more fun.

But, as I said, it is MY opinion. I dont know why people keep lashing out because I won't agree, whatever people say.

The channel, not him. He is a creative director for variety shows and he get a budget from the channel to organize everything. Plus, the agency, as it's a promotional show, participate also (certainly the lodging and off camera food for the group).

Being "useless" is very different of not needed (or "of no use").
Useless is being present but part of the decor yet visible. Very negative.
Not needed is something we don't need to show. Like an extra piece we're not gonna use.

I'll take the bet !!!
Being Korean or even older than me can be the only two things than COULD, and even so, I'm not sure as I have been watching k-dramas since 1995. Some of the actors were not even born yet. Even if you're a fan, have you lived through their evolution facing the society and politics in Korea? I have. Have you watched every drama they played? I did (and I even have them on my computer). But hey, nice try!!!

Ok, as a reader of the manga, I do not approve of this movie. Why are they making a movie of this. O m g and the…
It's an adaptation of a webtoon. It will be very different, it always is. For the cast, you know nothing. Those amazing actors you don't see in the role have been acting for a very long time, and have many awards. The newbies have to work with those talented actors and it's a huge pressure on them to deliver. I don't know if you have acted in theater before. I did. And working with award winning actors is very scary. some are even "idoles" and can't even think of disappointing their million of fans who will go and see the movie. I dont really care if they look 100% similar to the weebtoon. What I love is the story. So if those actors can bring the story to life, I may forget how they look and focus on what they give us.
