Is this called a show? Really? All I saw was handbags, handbags and more handbags. Was there even any story? Never seen anything so bad. Dropped. Abysmal.
On You and Everything Else Dec 29, 2025
This is frankly an award-deserving drama where both female leads perform on a truly exemplary level. The only criticism was that of the irritatingly pesky male lead, whose acting felt incongruous and somewhat banal; thankfully, his presence became an afterthought towards the finale. Overall, this was my standout drama of 2025—a production I’ll be recommending to all my friends and family, and one I will surely rewatch in the years to come.

Behold, William Tell has been utilised on numerous occasions! Bravo. Good taste directors. Gioachino would have been utterly thrilled! Now, where were we...
On Would You Marry Me? Dec 3, 2025
I bet the director/s of this drama don't know the word in Korean for predictable. You just can't get any more formulaic than this show. Doesn't anyone out there have a licence for any ingenuity or creativity? Yawn.
On Our Unwritten Seoul Jul 19, 2025
The last two episodes were such a damp squib; the show just petered out into oblivion. That said, it certainly had its other weaknesses too, but despite them, it was quite an enjoyable watch overall. 7/10 for me.
On When Life Gives You Tangerines Jul 19, 2025
Honestly, I just don't get the widespread appeal of this drama. While I understand the draw of IU's presence, and I generally appreciate a slow-paced, slice-of-life genre, even a superlative actress like her couldn't elevate the story. Ultimately, the plot was as tedious as can be, making it a real struggle to get through.

Title Black Out
What a bunch of inept and corrupt 'police' Korea have. Never seen anything as bad as this. Cringeworthy. What an absolute farce.
On Marry My Husband Feb 27, 2024
Oh dear - I suppose I'm in the minority when I say that I had to drop this show in disgust. Terribly underwhelming and lacklustre all around. Ironic really given the popularity of this show, but ultimately it just never managed to escape the shadow of its precursor, Perfect Marriage Revenge. Go figure!

Who'd thought that the hardest part about finishing this drama would be the ML's terrible acting (stiff, exaggerated…
It greatly depends on which show was watched first. It seems those who watched PMR first think MMH is greatly inferior and vice versa. I'm in this same bracket having watched PMR first, rated it very highly, and have then subsequently dropped MMH. I do agree with you that the ML in this show was awkwardly stiff, but I didn't feel it greatly affected the overall story.

I watched PRM first and loved it. I did not like this one. It does not get better but gets chaotic. I regret finishing…
Thank you. Appreciate your candidness.
On Marry My Husband Feb 25, 2024
I'm only up to Episode 3, but I went into this show without reading the synopsis first, and quickly realized that the plot closely resembled the superb Perfect Marriage Revenge. With all the hype about Marry My Husband in the media, I was rather underwhelmed and disappointed that it was just another spin on a show that just aired some few months prior.

I've been rather unimpressed with how this show has transpired thus far; but am I overthinking it, or will things drastically improve? As things stand, I really don't feel inclined to persevere any further.

Please prove me wrong.

Has anyone else noticed how dreadful the cinematography is in this show? The lighting and focusing is giving me a right banging headache...

Thoroughly enjoyed this show with a minor gripe - see below (potential spoiler alert):
I don't know if it was just me, but I had this feeling right in the beginning that Luna may have been Se Eum's secret daughter after she broke up with her then boyfriend (the current day CEO). She was likely quietly given away due to the possibility at the time of her 'disease' being inherited.

Luna was then on a quest to find her mother - fast-forward to the rest of the show...

Alas, that was not meant to be, but just a thought nonetheless of a slightly different, and more endearing angle the writers could have taken us down.
