It's so interesting how in another world, actually Seonwoo and Junseong would be very compatible with each other. They're different in many ways - Seonwoo has that chaotic aura while Junseong is calm and focused - but they're both also warm hearted. Junseong is one of the few who can see through Seonwoo and challenge him when needed, and Seonwoo is someone who can prompt Junseong to open up and motivate him to achieve more. Anyway that's in a parallel universe (Seungho is definitely Junseong's ultimate soulmate in this world!), but I think Seonwoo saw how compatible he could be with Junseong, which is why he called Junseong first.
Teenage versions are living in 2008. Adult versions are living in 2018. Suansoon's ID card shows that he's born in 1989. So the teenage versions are at least 18-19 years old, preparing to enter university. So there's no adult/minor relationships, they're all adults - though definitely still a little questionable regarding a 29 year old man dating someone 10-11 years younger.
I was really looking forward to this because I love the premise of parents working together to protect their super powered children. But all the edits I've seen show that there's a ton of high school romance in this, with a love triangle to boot 🙄
I can't stand that sort of romance - should I still watch it or stay away? x
Pretty sure they're not together since otherwise, they would also be celebrating their 200th day anniversary. Also on YH's latest insta story, all of the cast took a photo with the writers and JS/SH made a small cross with their fingers, while everyone else made big crosses with their arms. YH captioned the photo as 'Only the couple made a small cross' so I guess it means MS/HJin didn't last which I'm really not surprised at.
The writers teasing YH and SW by singing "You're My Woman' 😂 It's a song about a boy loving an older lady. The lyrics they're singing: "To him, I'm just a kid, I'm only 'cute', but hyung is a man to me. "What do you know" he (hyung) says. "You'll know when you're older" and that I'm just pestering him, but hyung is a man to me"
YH's face when SW hugged his arm. 😂 I wonder if SW knows just how much he's torturing that poor boy haha. Anyway I hope that both of them find happiness. Maybe in 10 years time when YH is 31, they might find each other again - who knows?
I hope in the next His Man season, rather than really long conversations, they put more games in. Would make it so much more fun - like a tug of war game or wrestling one

How does Yunghee come up with all these romantic lines? Saying that he'll meet with SW another 99 times to slowly…
It's so cute but sad too because Seonwoo said he likes it when people make him nervous, but with Yunghee being lovestruck and flustered, it probably makes Seonwoo see him as a lot younger when Seonwoo wants someone confident and manly ðŸ˜

I can really understand SW because I'm 30 and could never date a 21 year old. I imagine that for SW, who only just came out to his friends, it would be hard for him to introduce a 21 year old as his bf to his friends who are in their 30s and likely married. Especially since SW is so concerned about other people's opinions.
But I would love for Yoonghee to slowly court on Seonwoo and win him over! That would be amazing seriously, even though I'm probably delulu with you over it haha. I hope that Yunghee gets more confident to approach SW because currently he's still very shy and can barely look SW in the eye because he's so in love. 😠I loved that moment at the zipline when YH raised Sw's hand because otherwise they never seem to get physically very close to each other. YH needs to show off his taekwondo skills too! I saw him on youtube and he's very impressive.
I wish the show gave more screentime for SW together with YH. Instead the show keeps putting SW in that love triangle angle with SH and JS, and I'm getting really sick of it sigh.

I know what you mean, I'm so attached to the ship too! I think it's Yeonghee's devoted persistence even though Seonwoo doesn't give him anything back. I've never seen someone fall in love so blatantly at first sight the way Yeonghee did. I feel like if Yeonghee was 10 years older, Seonwoo would definitely have gone for him. But the moment Yeonghee said he was 21 (20 in international age!), SW couldn't accept the age gap sadly. If you go on Yeonghee's instagram, one of his photos from 2 years ago is him in a school uniform ðŸ˜
Did you watch their conversation in the most recent episode? What did you think? Is there a chance that SW might change his mind?
Anyone else feels that Seonwoo is only on the show for the attention. He first goes after SH who he admits isn't…
This is ridiculous.
First of all, a lot of dating show contestants probably do go on the show for some publicity. HJoon probably wanted to publicise his youtube channel, JW his songs etc etc. If SW did want to show off his shop, that's completely fine. All contestants benefit in some way from the publicity.
Secondly, you're taking a lot of things out of context. It's a dating show and they only know each other for 7 days. SW was kind and nice to all the contestants. Yes, it can sometimes send mixed signals but so what? That's his personality. Just like JS doesn't really care much what's going on in the house because he's very goal orientated (for SH only). And that's fine because that's his personality. I think that SW could have handled YH's feelings better, but he's given YH plenty of hints from the beginning that he only sees YH as a brother.
I thought SW's friendship with MS was sweet, and I'm sure SW only meant 'fox' as a joke. He doesn't seem gleeful about MS's love triangle at all! Even in the recent episode, he went up to check of HJoon during breakfast because HJoon was in such a low mood. SW just wanted to help MS and HJoon get together because he could see how sweet they were with each other, and once MS confessed he was torn between HJoon and HJin, SW even said he would stop trying to matchmake.
Now, even if SW has gotten back with his ex - so what? It doesn't mean their initial break up wasn't real. Maybe SW left the HisMan house realising that he could have sorted things better with his ex and they made up. I highly doubt a person would go through the pain of breaking up with someone they're been with for almost 3 years just to go on a TV show.
I love SW. He's my favourite person on the show because he feels very relatable, flaws and all.
I just realised that if for the first date, YH had picked SW before SH, then HJin would have taken SW away, so it would have left YH to go on a date with HJoon - imagine the chaotic sibling energy that date would have had 😂
Maybe he suddenly found up he has a conscience? He used that young and wonderful boy's feelings and admiration…
It's a difficult one because I think firstly, SW probably didn't realise the extent that YH was hooked onto him and probably assumed YH was having other interests too (like he has). Secondly, SW has given YH plenty of hints that he's not interested - not calling him at all, saying that his feelings only went up by 1% after the date, and we're probably missing a few other hints that the production team deliberately omits from us. YH mentions that SW also told him timing was crucial in a relationship - the editors hid that conversation from us. JW also said that SW can be cold towards YH - it makes me wonder how or why. SW has not once given YH a clear positive sign that he likes YH romantically.
And YH is not stupid - he understands SW's rejection well. He even jokes with Hyungjoon that he gets dumped everyday by Seonwoo because he gets the message. But YH still wants to try because he wants to follow his heart and that's completely up to him.
At the end of the day, I wish SW reciprocated YH's feelings, but I can see how the age gap is a massive barrier even though YH looks physically similar to SW's ex. I feel that even if SW had point blank said no to YH from the very start, YH would have still continued to pursue him.

Poor YH looks so flustered haha.
