Then why is ms allowing hjin to flirt with him? isnβt it gonna cause more confusion?
I mean SH also allowed JS to court him while he was interested in SW. It's just a dating show and they've only known each other for a few days. It's not wrong for MS to keep his options open, especially when HJoon withdraws whenever he's upset or angry without communicating to MS.
I like the way Yunghee's expressed his love for Seonwoo. The way he said he'll still approach him after the show.…
How does Yunghee come up with all these romantic lines? Saying that he'll meet with SW another 99 times to slowly win him over. π This boy belongs in a romance movie.
The rumours are saying that SW has a new boyfriend and it breaks my heart imagining YH finding out about SW's new boyfriend while he's on his 99% quest. I really hope YH finds someone who he truly loves. I don't know how YH fell in love with SW literally on first sight π
I think I am in the minority but I am so much more interested with MS/HJoon/Hjin than JS/SH. JS/SH are cute and…
I completely agree with you! I'm so much more interested in the fact that these 8 men became good friends over just 8 days, and live with each other amicably. I love the breakfast and dinner scenes, and the banter between them. I love HJoon's relationship with YH, and SW's friendship with MS. I think rather than JW, it's actually HJin who's the odd man in the house that none of the others seem to hugely gel with sadly - maybe because he's a bit blunt.
I'm really in the minority here, but JS/SH really bore me. They're cute and really suit each other, but I just skip their scenes because I just can't relate to them (being a forever single and bitter person haha). MS/HJoon/HJin is so much more interesting to me because it's just so human. I feel like the JS/SH/SW love triangle that everyone keeps going on about was barely existent - SW barely fought for SH and didn't seem hugely into him, but we're getting all these scenes by the show producers going on and on about it sigh.
What breaks my heart about the love triangle is that HJoon doesn't notice MS constantly peering at him. HJoon is the type that pulls away when he's unhappy, and MS is the type that needs constant affirmation. From MS's POV, HJoon hasn't given him enough confirmation of his feelings (didn't get a phonecall, HJoon ignores MS when he's upset) so he's also been considering HJin. From HJoon's POV, MS hasn't given him clear confirmation and any interaction between HJin and MS pisses him off so he just backs away. Which makes MS feel like HJoon just doesn't like him as much too.
Honestly, no one is in the wrong. This is a very common human scenario, which is why I really like His Man 2 - it shows that LGBT people's relationships are no different from straight people. Both the good and the bad.
My SW/YH heart is broken but I think it ended as well as it could have. YH has clearly gotten the message that…
Just noticed YH mentions that SW also told him timing was crucial in a relationship - so that's another conversation that the editors hid from the audience. SW may well have rejected YH without us knowing.
My SW/YH heart is broken but I think it ended as well as it could have. YH has clearly gotten the message that SW is not interested, but wants to continue trying anyway because he's a passionate sweetheart who is completely head over heels. And that's completely YH's choice and should be respected.
SW is a frigging mountain because how he's not moved by YH's romantic lines, I will never know. I see some people angry with SW for not clearly rejecting YH. But as SW said, he's a people pleaser - and as one myself - I can understand why he struggles to directly say no to a young boy looking at him with heart eyes. I do think that SW has given YH more than enough indirect rejections though - he hasn't called YH once, he never really expressed any feelings towards YH, and after their date, he told YH that his feelings only went up by 1% - how is that not an obvious rejection?
I really hope that SW and YH stay as close friends. I see that JW has forgiven SW somewhat since he visited SW's cafe recently haha. And if the rumours are true, SW has gotten back together with his ex, and hopefully YH and JW find someone suitable for them too.
My favourite part of the episode was Seonwoo and HJoon's duo reactions when HJin held MS's hand. π It's so obvious whose side SW is on in MS's love triangle.
He instantly liked him it was so cute. I bet he didnt know he would be getting his feelings hurt everyday jk!…
Yunhee is a lot like Junseong in that he also is only interested in one person so JW and HJin had no chance. Sadly, Yunhee is not as active as JS in pursuing or initiating contact, and hasn't had the chances JS had (since he's not even SW's roommate). At the same time, I think YH is very aware of SW's rejection, which is why he joked to Hyeonjoong that he was getting dumped every day. For YH it's either SW or nothing, and because he's so mature and calm, he's fine with it. I think he won't be too heartbroken on the last episode because he has made a lot of good friends (older gay men who would be able to support him navigate the LGBT world), and I'm sure he'll stay close to SW (whose shop isn't too far from where he lives!).
I say all this but everytime I watch an episode I'm screaming at SW to open his eyes to how wonderfully kind, mature and patient YH! I do have all my fingers crossed that YH does get who he wants!!!
Rewatching the first episode and my boy Yunhee was gone the second he saw Seonwoo. He was already imagining their future together π I've never seen such a serious case of love at first sight.
When Minseong asked Hyeongjoon on the date and said "are you coming or not? Yes or no" he was so cool - even Hyeongjoon got flustered! I didn't really notice Minseong's personality until then - he's super calm and collected. Even at the start, he said 'people are free to come and go from my life, I never cry about it but the people I've known have cried'. What a boss haha.
Haha JS definitely fits the 'hot assertive' type box. Maybe seonwoo leaned towards sungho because he was looking for something different from his ex? Looks like seonwoo's ex is very outgoing and travels a lot, which might be why seonwoo also kept going on about home dating
I can understand MS is overwhelmed, I would be too in his position, but he caused this weird situation between…
I feel bad for Hyeongjoon because he's too sensitive - and that's the opposite of MS. MS is very blunt and gives off a idgaf vibe, very tsundere type - like how he rejected Hyeongjin's date. If there was someone else going after Hyeongjoon, MS wouldn't be anywhere near as bothered as Hyeongjoon is right now. They make a very interesting pair and I look forward to seeing how they resolve this! But it's obvious to me that MS is really not into Hyeongjin, and finds Hyeongjoon a lot sweeter and attractive - but because of Hyeongjoon's job and shift patterns, MS is being realistic and probably why he's withdrawn from Hyeongjoon a bit.
I agree with you. I think SW is very worried about the public's perception of him, especially as a gay man, getting…
Ooooh you make some really interesting and good points! You're right that SW is really wishy washy and that could lead to a lot of frustration for YH, and YH seems the type to face conflict head on which would definitely make SW uncomfortable. I do feel though that this could actually be helpful for both of them in that YH would be gentle but firm with SW, and force SW into changing his bad habits. But I might be living in fantasy land here since it's never that easy in the real world. π
How much time is left before the end? I know there're 3 more episodes, but is there another whole day and night, or will they be leaving the very next day after episode 11?
