I started watching this because of the whole second chance at life / revenge plot because I really loved Perfect…
Watch it with fresh eyes, don't try comparing.

The urge to ask the manga readers how did she get her revenge! How did the toxic cheaters end up! But nope. It…
I'm actually excited to see the differences, because it be something new, not just copying the manga. So far they've been doing them well in the drama.

Title Marry My Husband Spoiler
Some of the things in the manga got pretty dark at the end.
FL, for example, wishes the evil bish to get cancer in her stead in plain text. I mean, yea, she's an irredeemable evil bish, but I wouldn't wish cancer even on the trash of humanity. Just wish her dead, at least it sounds better on paper, I dunno, just my opinion.
Anyway, Min Hwan's bish of a mother gets a stroke after learning her only son is sterile.
The evil bish brings her the son's sterility analysis results to troll her and neglects her when she gets a stroke. Then she follows that up by killing her while she's in the hospital, so that she won't recover and tell everybody about neglect. Runs away from the police, hits ML with a car while trying to run over FL, gets sentenced to life time in prison.
Min Hwan gets wind of evil bish's deeds behind his back and takes out 500 million won insurance on her (just like he did with FL) to kill her in a car accident. But he gets news his mother has died and rushes to the hospital on the same brakeless car he sabotaged just yesterday. Dies like total lame idiot in a car crash followed by drowning.
They f*cking deserved each other. 🤣

And that's not to mention some of the more fantastical lying from the evil bish, which FL brilliantly rebuked with ML's help. The manga seems just the right amount of short for the drama format.

so he died from a car accident or suicide? in the webtoon
From suicide. Which just makes him look mentally unstable, considering his non-existent relationship with FL in the past life.
I prefer the drama version, way less problematic.

anybody else find the ml incredibly awkward like he’s not cold and quiet in the eunwoo way just in a socially…
But at least it's more believable that he still doesn't have a gf. I'm sick of those silly dramas where a good looking/rich/straight middle aged man is still a virgin when he meets FL. And they make him act awkward in front of her, but in other situations he's confident and assertive. Just out of some fantasy world.

In the manga he was your typical perfect guy, no awkwardness, no nuanced personality.

ALSO! In the original, he was more about helping her just to help her. He seemed like he would be happy no matter…
I'm thinking we're missing the taxi driver scene with ML, or something similar. Otherwise where did he get the money with a heart?

(spoilers for ep. 4) Okay, so I need someone else's opinion, but... Is it only me that doesn't really like how…
I dunno why they've decided to change this in the drama, but in the manga ML didn't go looking for FL's first crush. He just came to the reunion by himself.
But I guess with how they've staged ML's event leading to him returning to the past that was one of the last things he had heard at FL's funeral. My guess is in the drama he returned to the past a bit earlier than FL, but still not so early as to think it through thoroughly. That search for FL's first love looked like a spontaneous thing, he just wanted to do something to make her feel better and to get her away from her future husband by finding her a better guy. Perhaps he didn't realize at the time he can compete for her heart himself. But after he realized that, he got jelly and now we have love triangle.

In the manga he actually was very calculating and 5 steps ahead of FL at planning how to help her. It just wasn't looking as stalker-ish as in the drama, more like a competent guy appearing at the right time at the right place.

HEAVY POILERS!!!So, the MLs background and way of transmigrating back in time was tweaked alot from how it originally…
For the most part I like the drama's turn of events, especially how they've dealt with ML's event leading to him returning to the past. The manga's one was...problematic.

Though I'm still missing an apology from the reunion bishes, I hope it will come later.
And some scenes are absent altogether, some about Yoo characters, some about cute moments between the leads.

Can we please stop comparing this to Perfect Marriage Revenge? Yes, it has the same premise, we get it. Yes, it came just before this drama, just like mangas these two dramas are based on. No, nobody's copycating, it's just a popular trope. If you like this trope just watch it with fresh eyes.

I disagree, this drama is very insensitive to the suicide topic. Tomorrow handled it much better.
You've such a dumb narrow view on this there's no point arguing.

I dunno why they keep typecasting him into over the top bad guys. He's just a good looking guy, he can play other roles. I recall them trying something with him in Money Heist.

it's like a worse version of perfect marriage revenge. where the FL is wishy washy even in her second life. outside…
At least her being wishy washy is more consistent. A person can't realistically change a timid, introvert personality into an outgoing, extrovert one overnight. And if this is about her still playing along with the villains it's because it's part of her plan to get them together. The evil bish needs to get jealous and to want to take her bf from her.
And in the manga whenever an opportunity arose to manipulate the events to get closer to her revenge, or help others in need, whom she never had the courage in her past life, she used that opportunity. It all just takes time and patience.
But if you like makjang like in PMR then this drama is not for you.

I dunno about playing good psychos, but he sure can play psychos that are looking like they're always high. It's something about his eyes I think, noticed this since Flower of Evil.
