What is Huaijin give the emperor to make him so happy that he granted him the marriage decree? What was he working…
He updated some sort of celestial calendar for upcoming years. Was probably important for planning yearly events on auspicious days and somesuch. EDIT: It's this thing: https://grokipedia.com/page/taien_calendar
This is not that kind of amnesia. This is different. FL's family was assassinated when she was 7-8 years old!…
She gradually started regaining memories from episode 1, after she recognized ML's incence satchet's fragrance. She recalled everything around episode 22. But it really is diffucult when you're just a kid who can't even comprehend what you saw back then, and there were people who didn't allow you to see the most gory moments. Still, that was a huge traumatic experience and shaped FL into who she is. Same with ML.
One recurring theme is how everyone keeps reminding Pei Yi that she is not alone. I love how the relationship…
Yea, the script here is well written and paced. From a cursed lone star to realization that there are so many friends she's made along the way who really care about her and are willing to risk their lives to save her.
He did it to save her and also because he likes her. Don't exclude one from the other. And as a married woman…
Nice guys like ML likely didn't exist back in the day. It was all very practical, mercantile and decided between men who were women's legal guardians. Nobody asked women whether they wanted to marry somebody, especially if a woman was from a rich noble family. The emperor likely was glad that there's a suitable guy wanting to take off unruly FL off his hands. If he was truly evil though, he would have married her off years ago, but he really did coddle her it seems.
Btw, does that actor who plays eunuch Guo often play eunuchs? He's like the epitome eunuch, with artistic pronunciation and all. I just love hearing him pronouncing decrees 🤣.
Even though I’m completely supportive of their romance, asking for marriage just to save her from punishment…
He did it to save her and also because he likes her. Don't exclude one from the other. And as a married woman she'd have ML's family protection. A woman on her own has little influence. And that did save her - can't have her dead if you agreed to marry her off, so immediately no guards and everyone's allowed in. And she can get out of that mansion to live with ML's family.
Can anyone please clarify...is Pei Yi angry at emperor because he knows the mastermind and hasn't revealed it…
The emperor knows something, but doesn't have any proof, so he chooses to believe the official version. For example, the main bad said that the emperor knows who really sent the troops to the mansion. In the end it looks like the emperor will allow FL to investigate further.
Am I crying? It took 3 dramas, and a lot of manifestations for him to play the boyfriend character of Bai Lu in…
Am I the only one here thinking consort Shu is a good person who was like a mother to FL?...Even in the last episode she was pestering the emperor non-stop to help FL. You people are just looking for a grey cardinal behind a grey cardinal.
Or, what's more likely, since all magical bs is being debunked here, she simply forgot because of shock. Suppressed…
Poisons that make you forget for a long time don't exist irl, at least not without any harmful side effects. And this drama makes a point of debunking magical bs. It's just good old childhood trauma.
I have a feeling that peiyi's master fed her a type of drug which could suppress her memory unless triggered,…
Or, what's more likely, since all magical bs is being debunked here, she simply forgot because of shock. Suppressed memories. Happens often, no drugs required.
Rating is, as always on this site, very biased. If you like no-nonsense investigative dramas, with mysteries and…
Yea, there's no bs in cases and the leads are very smart. Some cases start off small and then blow up into a big case. Some cases lead to a completely different direction from the initial one as the investigation goes on. In some cases the leads learn of a crime too late and investigate somebody else's justice revenge. The most interesting thing about the cases here are the sad stories behind them, they often leave a room for thought. And the main plot case about FL's family massacre is being investigated in parallel. It ramps up in the later part of the drama as FL gathers all her memories and new clues. The culprit is somebody unknown atm, he's rarely shown and wasn't active until FL started to dig too close to the truth. Viewers know who it is only if they've read the novel.
