Be prepared, guys! This show is going to end with a huge cliffhanger. Bu Yeon is probably going to die and Naksu…
Naksu's body is ash, not a statue in the lake. So how they gonna bring her back is yet to be seen. I'm leaning toward Jin Mu stashing her real body somewhere for whatever reason and putting it "on ice" like it was in the underground vault in Songrim.
First, Bu-Yeon is not Jang Kang's daughter. He only helped revive her when mama Jin asked him to. And they clearly…
Papa Jin/Choi is an insecure man. He probably heard how his daughter was saved and assumed the worst. But there was nothing between Jang Kang and mama Jin. And I think papa Jin was Bu-Yeon's reall father.
1. Jang Kang's reveal and redemption were atrocious. Even though he shat everywhere and on everything he could…
Why wouldn't he take Jin Mu as an assistant? Jin Mu is a boot licker, he can mask his intentions well. Also, he's not a nobody - he's still a Jin, a noble. Papa Jin and Jin Mu have much in common - both are insecure men, who want more power and aknowledgement and are pro-sorcery. Their goals simply aligned. About Bu-Yeon - I think papa Jin is also her real father, but since he's so insecure he may have heard that his daughter was born with the help of Jang Kang. Maybe he thought he got cheated by mama Jin. And clearly Jang Kang is not her father - it is clear by his distant and formal interactions with mama Jin both in the past and present, and she only came to him to ask to save her. Also, he really loved his wife, why would he go cheat with another woman?
I'm a little bit disturbed about something, so the former king did alchemy of soul and his soul enter Jang gang's…
First, Bu-Yeon is not Jang Kang's daughter. He only helped revive her when mama Jin asked him to. And they clearly weren't that well acquainted. And third, he loved his wife. Who's the real father of Uk I guess we'll never know now. Whatever Jang Kang was telling Park Jin and that stuff he left cannot be taken seriously now, because he admitted to having an agenda - he wanted to protect Uk by hiding him being the King's Star.
She's a soul shifter - if she used her powers she'd have killed everyone inside the ice stone barrier.
Those were minor compared to what was required to lower the barrier - Uk used all of his energy to do so. If she were to gather so much energy, it would have killed everyone.

Actually, we don't know whether you're soul shifter for life even after soul shifting back. This was the first time it was shown. But I agree, logically I assumed he no longer is. But with today's episode it also makes Naksu's fate uncertain if she were to return to her og body.
There was no mention that Jang Kang was a descendant of Songrim founder. Children being born under certain stars do so randomly, not in the same families through generations.
About Jin Mu - I think he got away. And he's not a Choi, it was never said he was. Or are you saying the shaman did soul shift - into Jin Mu? Didn't look like it when he was talking with CP. And what was shown in the preview with shaman using bells - I think it was a scene from the past. The shaman probably Jin Mu about the bells - and he's going to use them to hypnotize Mu-Deok. Not sure whom exactly though - Bu-Yeon or Naksu. He's has close ties to both.
Jin Mu's a snake who'd betray anyone to save his skin.
If we don't get a ChoDang proposal, I will drop one ⭐
Yea, too many overly draggy scenes in earlier episodes, but now they rush important things by the end. The bane of many kdramas - pacing! Why is it so damn hard to properly pace the plot? Ugh 😒
Ok, first things first, why do the showrunners have such a big desire to lie and mislead people in the previews…
1. Jang Kang's reveal and redemption were atrocious. Even though he shat everywhere and on everything he could 20 years ago, he cowardly ran away and turned his son's life miserable on the a very weak pretence. And he's still is a soul shifter somehow, though returned to his body - implications are unpleasant as to how his managed to stay alive. And only now that he's already so unwell he followed Master Lee's command and turned himself in, only to die immediately after. Yea, he interrupted the shaman's ritual maybe, I'm still sus about this. But no explanations from him, no goodbyes with Uk, maidservant Kim, or Park Jin were shown. So much buildup about his return, but it was just a fizzle in the end.🤦♂️At least I get it now where he got the information about the alchemy of souls to begin with - shaman's book. And after desperate mama Jin asked him to save her dead daughter he stole the ice stone from her later. What a fool. 2. What happened to So-i??? 3. I'm sus about the queen and the shaman, did Park Jin kill the queen's body by hurling a spell at her? Why the queen is still inside shaman's body? Surely there are still soul ejectors out there. Is it really the queen now in shaman's body? 4. Did papa Jin survive? They've said that the bride's father is in bad shape. 5. Why nobody arrested Jin Mu? 6. What will happen to Yul now that there's a Jin worm inside him? Also, why was it so easy to remove it? Didn't the villains say to So-i that it's in her head now and can kill her if she disobeys? Also, how the ef that small worm works as a blood transfustion, lol? 7. CP is very jelly, we'll see what they make of him now that he knows Uk was the real King's Star.
Ok, first things first, why do the showrunners have such a big desire to lie and mislead people in the previews and tease with false scenes? Those "wedding" scenes fooled no one since last week. We all know how it's gonna go already - bad guy's last attempt to pull a dirty trick on the good guys, no happy ending and a cliffhanger because part 2 is incoming. Second, I was extremely disappointed with handling of Jang Kang's character. The rest below in spoilers:
you have to separate the actors from their characters? like the whole thing about alchemy of souls is that Uk…
Lol, Dr. Who is a generational show with no end in sight. Every generation had their own Dr. Who, the actor was changed so often nobody cares who it is anymore - man, woman, old timer, youngster, who cares... But AoS has very specific and tight story to tell with a definitive ending. Can't really compare these two shows.
Otherwise I can't take you seriously.

I only wonder how she's still lucid after being drugged for 10 years.
