Both couples are cute, but I hope there's also more funny corporate stuff like in the first two episodes.
ML pining for that conniving woman who just uses him for her convenience was sad to watch, hopefully FL will kick his butt so hard he finally snaps out of it 🤣

Or you end up in bed with an unbelievably handsome guy who turns out to be rich and powerful and needs you to…
SK has a bit safer environment in public places and both drug dealers and users are severly punished by the law, but still it's just wrong to show female characters getting sloshed senseless for cheap giggles. There's rarely a kdrama without this sort of scene, it's practially a staple trope by now. And it sends the wrong message that excessive drinking is good and fun, alcoholism is nothing to be afraid of and there's no danger of being taken advantage of.
Also, why male characters are very rarely shown in these embarassing situations?

Expecting realism from a drama, cĀ“mon...Alcoholism in general is highly glamorized in dramas. Maybe there are…
Agreed, these drunk females scenes show all the wrong messages. Irl that’s a sure way to get taken advantage of or worse. But in kdramas they very rarely show the horrible outcomes of getting wasted in public places, mostly in criminal dramas, and even then often try victim blaming.

I think it's too early to comment whether the 'friends-to-lovers' depicted here is wayy too convenient for the…
Well, as you point out, it indeed looks like siblings relationship at this point. 20 years gap is just way too long not to realize whether they have romantic feelings for each other or not. I'd totally be fine with a 5+ something years of friendship/secret pining kinda plot, but not frikking 20! This is just ridiculously long time span, for more than half their life they've been living like this. And from what we've seen they basically live in the same house like an old tired couple or close siblings, not bothered with appearances, and suddenly - a supposedly "unique" situation - and bam! it hits them. Yea, right šŸ™„
And although nothing was stopping ML from confessing years ago, or after FL moved on last time from breakup with her ex, I still smell the classic unrequited love trope here somewhere, but 20 years is still too long.

Blind date girl is very cunning by playing innocence. And looks like it’s gonna be love square with FL’s ex back into the picture. I’m not a fan of third wheeling in dramas, but let’s see how annoying it will get.

What’s your take, guys, on this ā€œfriends to lovers with giant 20 years gapā€ type of plot? Realistic or fantasy? Personally, I think there’s no way in all these 20 years they didn’t have any sort of situations like the one at end of ep2 and neither felt any romantic feelings towards another at some point. It’s either your classical ML with unrequited love again (possible because FL was in love with another man and maybe didn’t notice ML’s feelings). Or it’s a fantasy slice of life about midlife crisis, regrets and realizations about what and who’s really important in life. Or at least most suitable.

Without knowing the leads better it’s as unrealistic to me so far as the premise in ongoing Law Cafe, but there at least it’s all clear with ML being in love with FL all those years, but due to dumb circumstances he avoided her most of the time.

P.S. No hate for the drama, I actually like that it’s more mature audience oriented. Just this premise is kind of a niggle.

Is it only me who likes siwon’s blind date girl? She is quite growing on me
I'm more curious how this whole plot gonna end. In the beginning of episode 1, wasn't it the blind date girl with ML in that dating variety show? They're not gonna get married for real, are they? I hate this certain type of drama where the leads go separate ways in the end, it's a waste of time for me. Now that I think about it, maybe I should put it on hold...😬

Title One Dollar Lawyer Spoiler
There was romance build up in Vincenzo, you weren't paying close enough attention. Also, ost lyrics say it all:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fTIhjBSVjOA
You should have paid more attention, especially to FL, it didn't start in the last few episodes. Maybe it was too subtle for you, I don't know.

I tried it once, put it on hold, tried again after more episodes aired and then dropped it today. ML is cute, but the rest is a messy waste of time. I'm also not a fan on PMY and her typecast roles, so maybe that played a part.

Title Little Women
Wonder if Vietnam's viewers feel the same way?Little Women has been the #1 top Netflix TV show in Vietnam for…
It's pure fiction, but clearly some people take it too seriously and blow it out of proportion. Yea, it was mentioned that Koreans were few in Vietnam war and they were super elite trained soldiers in that ficitional version of history, so of course their KD ratio was skewed heavily in their favor compared to average conscripts. It was deliberate writing though, to show how elite those soldiers were and judging by ML's commando dad I could believe it.
But if every historical fiction were to be banned there'd be none to watch, because of course writers very often glorify one side and disparage the other. But whatever, nowadays just give people any reason and they'll scream bloody murder...

Yea, it's not a kdrama if there's no wasted FL scene in it. Piggyback followup is also classic. šŸ™„šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø

I swear the suspect list of who is the killer is getting larger by the episode.
Is it though? I can still consistently think of only two suspects.

As a pure rom-com I think it’s the best this year as well. But year is not over yet, maybe there will be more surprises.
