You're wrong about wanting more romance for the leads. They've spent pleeenty of time on useless love triangles here, instead of the main couple. Could have cut that with nothing lost and make more scenes about the leads connecting, like they were in the early episodes. Later half of the show severly lacks this, makes their love declarations rather unbelievable.

I mean, we always assumed Naksu was the one who's controlling everything, but behind the scenes from the very beginning it looks like it was Bu-Yeon, starting from the ritual and blocking Naksu's powers.

No, Cho-Yeon's father is papa Jin, the traitor. Bu-Yeon's father, on the other hand, is not known. But it's definitely not papa Jang. Mama Jin was already pregnant when she came to him asking for help with her birth, they weren't that intimately close back then.

I hope Naksu won't do a 180 and give up Bu-Yeon's body to die because of it.

I fear they gonna rush the ending and dump everything on us in the last episode as it happens in kdramas now and then.

Especially jarring that other actors and actresses get cancelled permanently for far lesser offenses, like alleged bullying during school years or drunk driving. But this guy just keeps popping up in kdramas like nothing happened.
