Yea, Bu-Yeon needs to get closure.

It has nothing to do with JSM's schedule. They planned this shit from the start. That's why she signed only for part 1 apparently.

Are they for real? Are they implying that it may not even be Naksu now? Is it gonna be Bu-Yeon? Or Naksu and Bu-Yeon are still stuck together but in Naksu's body? Or are they gonna get soul fused?
What the hell... 🤦‍♂️

Some dire questions arise from this:
1. Why is it going to be easier to create a new body from scratch with not seen before magical mumbo-jumbo than unpetrifying an existing one?
2. If it's gonna be just Naksu and Bu-Yeon dead, I'm gonna f**kig riot, I swear 🤬👿
3. If it's gonna be Bu-Yeon and Naksu dead - same as point 2. This one is less likely because the preview shows she's not blind.
4. If they're stuck together in a new body - what is even the point of swapping the bodies? Nothing is resolved!
5. Soul fusion...I dunno, maybe, I've seen other media attempting this, but still gonna be very weird.
6. Writers drunk too much Kool-Aid?

At this point anything goes, I guess 🤦‍♂️ It's just Naksu, Naksu and Bu-Yeon still stuck but in another body, Naksu is gone and it's Bu-Yeon only (that would be the weirdest one).

Yea, that "should" doesn't look good, tbh.
But I think they probably had the first draft for one season but decided early to extend it. That's why there's so much filler in part 1, especially in later half. I think if it was one season Naksu may have simply returned at the very end into her og body and that would have been the end. Still lame though, no matter how you put it.

Yea, whoever is responisble for keeping leaks in check needs to be fired and banned from the industry.

They just can't handle it I suppose. Is it greed? Lack of foresight?

How does moving from one body to the other solve any of their problems though? I'm not seeing it. But if it's gonna be just Naksu and Bu-Yeon gone for good I'm gonna be really pissed off.

Well, if they say so themselves is there a reason to doubt them? Leaks also proved true. Maybe it was they themselves who leaked it, lol, to prepare the audience for this shitstorm.
I dunno, I'm starting to lost confidence that part 2 will give any sort of satisfying reason for actress swap. It's probably gonna be something incredibly lame and unnecessary, made solely to prolong the series into 30 episodes.

There was an article saying JSM's agency confirmed her appearance in part 2 in minor role.

So, are the showrunners really going throw out Bu-Yeon character out of the plot just like that without giving her any sort of closure? I would be extremely disappointed if that's their "plan". Jeez 🤦‍♂️
Or are they gonna do another bs plot twist and her soul will go into Naksu's body to tangle everything up again? Will there be any point to it? Changing one body for the other not gonna solve their problem.

It's their show of course, but they can't force people to like it with this decision. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

The fact that they have to explain and reason with the audience about this choice says something about their lack of confidence in the plot. Are they really just gonna ditch Bu-Yeon/Mu-Deok character's plot out the window now after building it up for the bigger half of part 1? I have no words to express how lame it is 🤦‍♂️

And maybe there's a reason why such a plot twist is rarely seen in the media and even then it's mostly because the actor died or did something bad and had to be replaced for the show to continue. Audience's reaction usually is unfavorable, especially if the previous actor did a very fine job.

Those who plan to watch part 2 are already open minded enough. There are many people though who said their AoS ended half way through episode 20, which is valid as well. It is very hard to stay open minded though for those who were really invested in the established characters, and by that I mean Mu-Deok character specifically. Good for you if you weren't.

Yea, I think Uk is on the run and acting as a vigilante trying to uncover Jin Mu's plot.
I think current royal family needs to get dethroned for being Jin Mu's villainy enablers. Also, the king is a crazy evil bastard all on his own. Not only did they not punish him, they even promoted him. And that massacre at the end of part 1 is directly on CP's hands.

I think most people are pissed off most of all because they got attached to JSM's representation of Naksu. She defined Naksu character, not GYJ, who got barely a cameo. Yea, GYJ's face was og Naksu's face, but after 20 episodes nobody cared, many people even forgot how she looked like and were confused as to who was it in the preview.
So it's only natural to feel so hugely disappointed by the actress swap after 2/3 of the show. I've seen the same sentiment everywhere - on MDL, reddit, twitter, YouTube, tabloids etc. People wanted Uk and Mu-Deok to have a happy ending and they feel Mu-Deok character was done dirty. Nobody cares about og Naksu's body, many people don't even care about unresolved Bu-Yeon plot.
Personally, I said it from the start that the writers didn't seem to understand that this is not a novel where you imagine whatever, this is a TV show people watch on screen with their eyes and firmly attach actors faces to their respective characters. So sudden actor swap is a hard sell for the audience. Writers were too deep into their scripts to get it seems.

Dang Gu looks like a serious adult now, just like Uk 🤣
Not sure about Park Jin, but knowing how stupid and criminally forgiving everyone is around Jin Mu, I'm sure he turned everything upside down and made good guys look bad again.
