The only people of relevance to Mu-Deok that he could conceivably try taking with him with her help is either Mu-Deok/Naksu herself or Uk. But none of them would go with him to some backwater fortress for any reason. And especially not separately, like he secretly wishes. They won't be parted from each other.

I think JSM has the most difficult role here. It's basically 3 in 1. Good thing they switched a noob actress (the one that dropped out while filming a pilot episode, don't recall her name) with a veteran JSM.

That Yul stole Naksu's body is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever read here, some fans are just grasping at straws trying to justify his actions 🤦‍♂️. And it completely contradicts what you write here about him being lawful stupid, black&white, etc. He won't disobey his superiors and steal a criminal's body, he has no means to procure a dupe body to give to the villain and he doesn't know tricks or illusion spells to make a fake pyre. The villain, on the other hand, could do all these things, if there's any reason for him to keep it, which there really is none.

Neither actress is officialy confirmed as FL in part 2. Just read the source article. Basically, confirming one or the other would spoil the ending of part 1 so showrunners and actresses' agencies won't confirm anything until part 1 ends.

Sounds very unplausible. Yul is too "by the book" and lawful, and it's too elaborate for him to pull off. If anyone has her body it's Jin Mu - he took her officially and he knows illusion spells, or he could have found some similar looking dead body. Not sure why would he keep her body though.
I think if Naksu somehow will get her og body back it will be some divine spell of resurrection that recreates her body from scratch.

Worst of the cast is Yul actor. His acting is wooden and he has perpetual poker face for every emotion.

Too many red flags from him that suggest he's simply jealous and wants to separate the leads on the pretense of "protecting" them. I can understand protecting Uk from her, but taking her to the other place won't help her with her problem in any way. If he really wanted to help her he should have started looking for the Ice Stone like Uk does.

Or she'll simply be exposed as Naksu so there will no longer be any need for fake Mu-Deok alias. Proves nothing. Also, anything on this site is speculative and subject to change.

Why would he take a dead body with no soul? He wants Naksu in alive form and she won't go with him only to leave Uk behind, he's delusional if he thinks she'd go with him. Probably that's why he squeezed a promise out of her without giving the details - he's a coward to ask directly, already knowning the answer, And also, he's too by the book to steal bodies.
If Naksu's body is indeed still somewhere on the ice, it'd be with the villains. And it is Jin Mu who knows illusion spells, he's the one who could have made a fake pyre funeral.

That would surprise no one here. That's why so many people are pissed off at him right now. He just doesn't know when to give up already.

Like all villains they think their plans are infallible and nobody'd investigate that some people disappear here and there and end up an energy snack.

Besides hopeless Yul that Heo girl hitting on Uk is also starting to get annoying. Maidservant Kim and grandpa Heo openly pimping her is not helping either. She already set up a date with Uk, time for some more unnecessary love triangle/jealousy scenes, I guess...

Not always, have you seen how he took his side last time at Cheonbugwan without reservations?
He doesn't trust Uk with his powers, but that's about it.
