Agree with you 100%. I wish people wouldn't hate on Seo Yul.
I think his main problems are the actor being wooden and having the same face all the time and his character being very indecisive and paling in comparison to ML. So not all of that critique is undeserved. Also, taking FL away is not protecting her. If he wanted to protect her he would have started running after that ice stone as well. Judging by the previews he wants to separate her from Uk, either to protect him or simply out of jealousy.

But what about that "Imma gonna take Mu-Deok with me when I leave" and fight over her like she's some object, never asking her opinion. That's why I don't like CP's obsession over her either. They don't really know her as a person, only Uk does and he talks with her about everything without hesitation or prejudice. OTP couple has a healthy relationship, while others are in it for all the wrong reasons.
I find it refreshing in AoS how smart the good guys are and quickly suspicious of villains' scheming. And nobody jumps to wrong conclusions, instead figuring out everything correctly. Especially Park Jin. He may be a fool with maidservant Kim, but he knows his business and investigates Jin Mu at every chance from almost the very beginning. The only thing they need more of is trust and cooperation.
Master Lee is Master Yoda level.Park Jin and Jin Mu seem to be around the same level.Shaman Choi is below, because…
Grandpa Heo is somewhere below Park Jin and Jin Mu. It was mentioned he ditched studying under Master Lee for married life. And he also is too jolly and slacking in his elderly years. And also likes to drink a lot. And also, he's a healer more than fighter, I doubt he knows many combat spells.
Just trying to figure out the hierarchy of power of the characters. Is Master Lee the strongest followed by the…
Master Lee is Master Yoda level. Park Jin and Jin Mu seem to be around the same level. Shaman Choi is below, because she needs Jin Mu as her enforcer. And she soul shifted into the queen's body who it seems wasn't a high energy mage. But somehow she's the only one who uses the Ice Stone, maybe because Jin Mu has no knowledge how to make new soul ejectors.
I think there are some mysteries about Jin Mu's life that we will discover soon. Who is his mother? Why he received…
Jin Mu is the illegitimate child of Jin clan mother's father. So Jin Mu is Jin clan mother's step-brother and step-uncle to Bu-Yeon and Cho-Yeon. Since Jin clan is matriarchal men don't hold much power there. That he was accepted at all as a Jin is something but Jin clan mother despises him, and it was mentioned he had a tough and hungry childhood. Probably that's where he started turning evil. Choi shaman probably enticed him with promises of power, but it's not known whether she has any blood relation to him.
She may never wanted her but going about it like a selfish bitch doesn't help her positive image. FL and her father…
She's an ambitious woman that puts career and social status above all else with aspirations of political career. That's about it. May not be a bad thing in itself, but not when she tries to trample other people's lives to get what she wants.
Dad and WYW did not try to infiltrate Mom's life. They did stay away. It was Mom's choice to quit being CEO of…
To be fair, that journalist was digging dirt on her with the rumor about illegitimate child already known to him, he just put 2 and 2 together after seeing her enter FL father's shop. And also, Hanbada CEO's knows 100% that FL is her daughter from the very beginning. So TSM will get exposed no matter what sooner or later, FL and her father are simply victims of circumstance that got used.
I think I'll get some hate but I understand Young Woo's mom, she didn't want to have her in the first place and…
She may never wanted her but going about it like a selfish bitch doesn't help her positive image. FL and her father didn't appear in her life again on purpose, it was Hanbada CEO's scheming. Barging in, throwing false accusasions and demanding they disappear for her convenience again doesn't make me want to sympathize with her either. Also, there are many stories about women regretting abandoning their children later, so understandably many people were thinking it's gonna be this sort of plot point. Guess they were wrong? And back then she could have married FL's father instead of ditching him, it wouldn't have ruined her career, like what will happen now. But judging from the episode 8 deleted scene she didn't love him and/or had a better/rich prospect in mind for a husband - Hanbada CEO's boyfriend. Anyway, just my opinion, no need to write lengthy replies about her being "forced" to give birth.
I think it will be a bad one ending on a cliffhanger. FL's body will perish and/or her soul ejected and we'll be waiting a whole year for part 2 where she maybe gets resurrected.
I think it's safe to assume JBY's father is a Choi, not a soul shifter. He knows JBY way too much to be an impostor.
Or maybe he is an impostor, he just gathered all the info about JBY. I think JBY's father got soul shifted while looking for her at some point and now there's shaman Choi's sibling inside of him.
Uk never had a teacher who actually taught him in his whole life before Naksu and Master Lee. Poor boy has been…
He suffered and he's a genius, but people mean the very convinient situations he gets himself in or Naksu pushes him into that elevate his magic to another level. He already knows the third level, Chisu, through these ordeals, which takes an ordinary mage decades to learn. But of course, writing a story about decades of study is not interesting.
Any theory who is Shaman Choi? Why Jinmu is following her? Does JBY’ dad related to the shaman? Too much intertwined…
Shaman Choi is of a disgraced Choi clan from the old times. Not much is known about her, but she has a sibling as well somewhere in Jinyowon, maybe it is soul shifted JBY's father. Jin Mu follows her for power and promise of immortality probably, because his own clan despises him for being a man born out of wedlock. Master Lee was away for a very long time, only his pupil, grandpa Heo, remembers him.
I'm enjoying EAW (though I think the rating and hype gave me unrealistic expectations, if I'm honest) but am I…
I think the main point of this drama is to raise awarness of people with autism. No matter what you think about how it was executed, it certainly captivated the audience en masse and maybe made people look around and sympathize with people with mental disabilities. Personally, after this show started airing I started reading a lot about it, it is interesting. And I just can't look at rotating doors the same anymore 😅
Looks like the plot is segregated into chunks, each resulting in some kind of battle for ML that elevates his magic level. Kinda repetetive, I'm guessing to obtain Hwansu he'll fight Jin Mu next 🙄 Also, Yul's gonna lose, Uk now is on his level.
