Ugh, Goblin was one of most boring, draggiest kdramas I’ve ever watched. Barely managed to finish it just for second couple’s sake. In terms of drag AoS has nothing on it, it actually has a good pace compared, lol. But still, AoS is not without faults and people do leave some fine constructive criticism here, which is entirely their right. No need to label and hate on people who don’t like it.

It's draggy in the later half, not gonna disagree. Could have made it in 16 episodes easy.
But still very much worth the watch, the plot is just too interesting.

Yea, in today's episode she dropped her act and talked to both CP and Yul like she would normally do. It was a first for them, so they were taken aback.
Uk though gets treated by her barbed tongue every episode from the very beginning, he's already immune, lol.

I'm just saying this episode is not as draggy as some of the others and is important.

Or she simply was supposed to die in the womb and had no soul to begin with, hence unable to be born. I mean 13 months? This would have been a miscarriage if it weren't for crazy mama Jin, she probably used some kind of magic to keep her in the womb.

Uk and Mudeok had more scenes like that. Master Lee even questioned them at one point about it.

Actually today's episode was pretty big on major decision concerning Naksu. Naksu was put to a test by Bu-Yeon - will she turn to the dark side and have the ultimate powers of the ice stone and soul shift into anybody she wants at the cost of other people's lives? Hence all those scenes where she was preparing to say goodbye to them all, only to reconsider when she realized her love for Uk is greater than her thirst for power. Basically, we were shown that getting her the ice stone will not be the answer to her permanently returning her powers.

Well, it's the last week, gotta start it already, no? 😂

Yea, I'm not a fan of reincarnation either. But other theory is quite plausible.

Wow, is this a safe space for EAW fan gathering or something? If somebody raves about this drama - he's objective? If somebody goes against the grain and writes negative feedback or criticizing review - he's a hater and some other drama's delulu fan?
Get over yourself, people have the right to write whatever feedback they want to. And not wearing pink glasses, having certain standards and critical mind is not hating.

Ikr, right? But she sounded so eerily intimidating and authoritative in that scene, not what you'd expect from supposedly nice to a fault Bu-Yeon. There's a theory circulating now that maybe her soul is Jin ancestor's soul that was either reincarnated or sealed in the ice stone by Songrim leader that Jang Kang used later to help mama Jin give birth.

He's not, keep watching.

Those scenes where she imagined soul shifting into the king, Jin Mu and Park Jin were hilarious, indeed 🤣🤣🤣

I doubt Yul had anything to with it, he's too by the book - he doesn't know illusions and won't have anything to do with duping someone else's body. And the body on the pyre was shown up close - it was really her. However, if it was a dupe there is one guy who could have pulled it off - Jin Mu. He's unscrupulous, so getting a body is not a problem for him, and he knows illusion spells.
However, he has no reason to do it. On the contrary, he really wanted to get rid of Naksu once and for all, especially her body, so that she won't return if she managed to soul shift successfully.
And what Yul wanted from Naksu was most likely to convince Uk to come with him, she'll tag along automatically that way. He thought he'd protect them that way. Also, judging by part 2 leaked photos and videos Uk and Yul are back together. And if Seo uncle will be in part 2, they may indeed travel to Seo fortress.

So all in all, I think her body really is ash. So either they gonna pull it out of thin air with the help of the ice stone or whatever, or that rumor was bs to begin with.

I agree. I already said earlier that I believe this kind of twist works well only in the novels, not on screen where people get attached to actors faces, not just their characters. This is gonna be awkward af, if true. Even Uk now likes Mu-Deok as a whole, not just her eyes.

It was said that he did save one stone to supposedly save his love. Maybe it did somehow transmigrated from the ice stone to mama Jin's unborn baby.
Gotta wonder if that's how it will end for Naksu - she'll get ejected into the ice stone and part 2 will be about trying to bring her back to life?

Even though he told her he did prior to that 🤣 Somehow she gets dumber with each episode. What is it? Is it the Jin body? They are all dumbasses there. Or did she get so used to act as dumb but very loyal maid Mu-Deok she turned off her brain too to be more believable?

That would be a nice cop out if Naksu were to keep her body so that nobody'd feel bad. Otherwise this is still a big problem to resolve - if people will know Naksu's a soul shifter they will want her gone from that body, especially mama Jin. We'll see how it pans out.
