I agree. The only disappointing thing here is the apology.

JTBC just made an enormous mistake. They have "apologized" for the scenes featuring Samir. The result? Already…
Most of those crazies probably didn't even watch the drama. They just flocked to the next thing to cancel. That's how it usually is for something in the West. It's a favorite past time for some people on the internet. I mean, if it was so offensive it should have been banned in their countries to begin with, or they've sinned by watching it illegally. If it wasn't, then their government deems it ok and they're just trolling hypocrties.

They never got their reality check and keep living in a bubble.

I’ve been telling this. Next they will demand to stop the broadcadt altogether. There’s no satisfying these people. Apogizing to them is like a red cloth for a bull, a mistake.

I ran here after finishing ep 8, to rant about the incredibly hot kiss and instead i find a hot pile of garbage...…
Because we live in an age where people have this notion that everyone around them owes them something.

Ikr they are getting spammed with racist comments and even death threats now. I can’t imagine how much a toll…
Do you think it will end there? Next they'll ask to stop broadcasting it. Which they won't do in a million years. Viewership is in double digits and they don't care about anything else.
If anything, the controversy only raised viewership count.

They'll laugh at him just as they laugh at them in their numerous historical dramas. Also, SK doesn't have royalty…
The question is, if the things Arab posters are complaining about here are forbidden how is this drama legal in their country? Did they watch it illegally and why were they doing illegal things? And if you're not an Arab yourself, why are you defending people who did illegal things?

Newsflash for you, they still do make them mostly for domestic viewers. That's why domestic broadcasting companies, JTBC, spend money on them, to show them on their domestic TV channels. That some of them are also sold for streaming services is a bonus. But they still mostly care about domestic viewership.
And you still haven't answered my question as to why are you watching prohibited things. Is this drama even available legally in your country?

1. To all of you spammers - we get it already, you didn't like the representation of a fictional Arab prince character (drinking, whoring, clubbing, etc.) in a kdrama with a fictional story. If you don't have anything more to contribute to the discussion about this kdrama, stop spamming same thing over and over like a broken record already. You're only making it worse.
2. Nobody here really cares, nor can anybody do anything to alleviate your complaints. This is not an official website of the broadcasting company, it's not affiliated with kdrama creators in general in any way. It's just a fan site about Asian dramas.
3. The broadcasting company has already made an official statement about the complaints, if you don't like it, read point #1. Then go to the official broadcasting company's channels and voice your complaints there. Max what you can get out of going to the official channels is getting this drama banned in your country, but it already should be by default since it shows all the prohibited things you keep complaining about in point #1. Continuing spamming here is a waste of time because - re-read point #2.
4. Insulting people for not caring about your complaints will just lead to getting you reported by other people for being offensive yourself.

Sure, you don't dictate it, but you can't police it either if it's made in a foreign country. Watch it, or don't. Max what you can do is vote for it to be cancelled in your country. Speaking of which, since kdramas are so full of sin and unlawful behavior (promotion of drinking, dating unmarried women and sleeping with them, going to the bars, etc.), what are you even doing watching them? People down below said it's haram for Muslims. So?

In the drama there is nothing to show he is arab and a muslim. You are inventing it. And you know what? Around…
Just like any foreigner in another country. Tales I can tell you about some of the stuff they do in my country. It's as if people think they can do whatever the hell they want when they leave home, starting from taking a seat at the airplane. I bet those Arab princes are just the same, but with even more money to splash and then to cover their misdemeanors.

Is there a comedy anywhere in its genre? I thinking more of those historical dramas like Mr. Queen, where they made the king look like an idiot for posterity.
And also, in most of them king is made weak and politically impotent, fighting with their cabinet. Some are even made looking ill in the head, believing in ghosts and the like.

Aside from thinking them being ChatGPT bots, I'm starting to think people (or bots?) spamming here about the saintly Arab prince are either brainwashed (cuz reasoning with them to leave an unaffiliated website is fruitless), or are just being paid by the royal family of one of the Arab countries. Gotta improve that image, since other people below write they're into even worse things irl 😂

They'll laugh at him just as they laugh at them in their numerous historical dramas. Also, SK doesn't have royalty and most of them don't care about any religion.
They also laugh, expose and comment on their corrupt politicians all the time in their dramas, so any foreign attempts won't be anything new they haven't already seen.

Exactly. I wonder where are all those insulted Arabs when Hollywood churns up yet another movie where all Arab characters are terrorists 🤔.
No wait, that's not in vogue nowaydays, nowadays it's Russian/Vague Eastern European characters who are all terrorists. Gotta stay in modern trend.

Are you happy now that you've insulted people here? Over a fictional show. Enjoy being reported.
