Yes, there are many muslims who smoke, drinking, partying, going to nightclub. But it still doesn't represent…
I'm not invalidating anything, I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy. Misbehavior incidents are there for all foreigners to see, but you're denying them the right to tell about it? They're not living by your laws though, so they've no obligation to sugar coat it.
Yes, there are many muslims who smoke, drinking, partying, going to nightclub. But it still doesn't represent…
But Arab people yesterday down below said even Arab princes are not infallible irl either, so what gives? Seems you just want other nations media to show Arab culture in best light, with unseemly things being quietly swept under the rug. But they've no obligation to do so. They saw what they saw irl and made preconseptions based on that, no amount of empty words will convince people to change their minds when actions do not match.
Yes, there are many muslims who smoke, drinking, partying, going to nightclub. But it still doesn't represent…
If some people don’t represent the whole community irl how one single fictional character can represent the whole comminity? You’re contradicting yourself.
You just said yourself that such people exist irl. Then how was it a mistake to show a fictional character such as this? Is it now allowed? Only law abiding characters are permitted to be shown? In a foreign media, to boot?
because they are spams and only based on some people's hatred?
Can't trust those either anymore. Nowadays ChatGPT writes better composed reviews than a human being. Wait until the drama is over then write a review.
If kdramas are offending your sensibilities don’t watch them. There’s a lot in them that is weird and off…
I finished adding my thoughts on it above, plz re-read it. You don’t have to agree to it, but that’s what I think. They owe me nothing and are free to express themselves. I’m not gonna scream from a tower to make them stop if I don’t like something, it’s not worth it and not gonna change anybody’s perceptions and stereotypes.
the way people are turning blind eye to that plot of prince. The fact is every country has problems. But that…
If kdramas are offending your sensibilities don’t watch them. There’s a lot in them that is weird and off putting for a foreign eye, even for Westerners. To enjoy them you must close your eyes to it. Whining about it here won’t change anything. It is how it is there, it’s their way of living and their opinions on the world. One thing I can say is yea, they are often showing characters from other countries in a corny, stereotypical and unflattering way. But it isn’t specific to SK media, it’s the same around the globe. I may have qualms about Hollywood misrepresenting my culture and many others in that way as well, but I gotta close my eyes to it as well to enjoy their media. And to be fair to SK media they are most brutal about themselves first, showing every single flaw and hot topics of the day to the whole world without reservations. And I’d rather see what other countries really think about each other than having media being strictly censored and doctored like in China. It distorts people’s perception of reality they are living in.
I think it's because of his personality. Despite his stubborness, he's the kind of person who can accept when…
I loved that ML wasn’t in denial stage for several episodes like it usually happens. He realized his feelings for FL in episode 3 already and immediately started working on winning her over. I mean, that’s new for a kdrama 😂 This drama is all about romance front, back and center. All the other things happening is just a backdrop.
I think the show is gradually transcending into the second phase of the story. In the preview in the end of ep…
Yea, I think as soon as his sister gets wind of them dating she’s gonna use it against ML. And FL will suffer at work even more. I’m just waiting to see that somebody witnessed or recorded them. FL staying for the night at the suite, for example, could be misinterpreted. Especially if that jealous colleague from downstairs witnesses it.
I’m thinking at the end ML will be in trouble but employees whom he will help will vouch for him or help him, or something like that.
I gotta say ML suddenly turned very mature and insightful lately, especially when it concerns FL. Kinda feels too quick considering his general childish behavior just recently. I thought love makes people dumber and more reckless, not the other way around 😂
Just of curiousity:Suppose JTBC apologizes to Arabians. Will they go back and rate the drama well on all the film…
Most of the spammer bot accounts haven't even watched the drama, I can guarantee you that. They're just here to troll and overreact over something they've read on twitter or instagram.
JTBC is not gonna apologize. They've already made an official statement:https://www.allkpop.com/article/2023/07/king-the-land-production-team-responds-to-controversy-regarding-arab-prince-character-in-recent-episodesRead…
You're trolling and spamming here because this is the wrong website, dude! How hard it is to grasp? This is not the official JTBC website to file your complaints. Nobody cares about them here and nobody here can do anything about what went on in the drama either. Anyway, enjoy being reported as well.
There're enough already on the imdb. Besides, this is a fan website, these comments are just annoying at this…
What staff? MDL's staff had nothing to do with the creation of this drama either. You're on the wrong part of the internet to file your complaints 🤣. This is a simple fan site for viewers to discuss Asian dramas. Your ranting is disrupting said discussions. Go search the official website, twitter, instagram, etc. of JTBC and stop trolling here.
Wait until the drama is over then write a review.
