Whose editing this because I have seen a lot of comments saying the same thing with the editing. It’s such an…
I assume the director is editing it, but I wonder if maybe an assistant director is in charge of every other episode? If that's the case, I really hope the production company keeps them far away from the editing room from now on!

I felt like episodes 1 and 3 were edited by a student, and only episodes 2 and 4 were edited by a professional. I shrugged off episode 1, b/c it's just an intro. I enjoyed episode 2. But I nearly quit the drama after episode 3. It was only the fact that I'm a big fan of LSG that kept me watching. And I'm glad, b/c episode 4 was great: it made me cry, it made me laugh, the pacing was just right and it was over far too soon. So... if you feel like me after episode 3, don't quit! It's worth staying with this drama. Though I really hope episode 5 doesn't follow the pattern of 1 and 3. Honestly, I never understood why they give Oscars for editing, but now I do. It's definitely an art!

Reading the professional reviews and the MDL comments for "TLC," I'm reminded of the reactions to "Jumanji": people either loved it, or loved to diss it. After I watched "Jumanji", I agreed with both sides. Yes, it was full of cliches and token character development. But boy, it was FUN! The movie didn't try to be better than it was. It owned up to its genre, and delivered lots of lol moments.

It's still early days for "TLC", but it feels exactly the same: an unapologetically trope-y romcom that is nevertheless funny and where the cast's enthusiasm pulls the viewer along. So I gave it a 10. I'd hate for people to miss it b/c of a low MDL score. :-)

Ugh, ML is such a dumbass 🤦‍♂️Another one suffering from noble stupidity. Because he's related to the…
ML is related to the scumbags who *killed* FL's father by criminal negligence, as well as those who covered it up. That makes it a great deal more difficult to 'talk out.' Also, guilt by association is very real in Korea. Until relatively recently, it was even enshrined into law (see the kdrama "25-21"). And it's still alive and well, culturally speaking. Just last year, the actor who plays the ML faced real life hassling b/c he is dating a woman whose stepfather committed financial crimes about a decade ago. Now that's guilt by association twice removed! So... I find this plot point entirely valid.

what is a 4D personality? man i'm hoping this won't be bland as many other kdrama lately especially if this is…
I don't think Lee SeungGi is capable of playing a "puppy ML". He can play a huge range of characters, but not that. Judging from the trailer and stills released so far, he's gonna be a grumpy pragmatist who's gonna pour cool logic over the FL's hotheadedness. Pretty similar to "Hwayugi" and "You're all surrounded." I love that kind of ML, but I'm really skeptical of how they wrote the FL. I'm hoping that Lee SeYoung will find a way to make her character more interesting than the "4d personality" trope. She's an actress capable of great subtlety.
