Damn the show really knows how to pull your heart strings. Kim Ji Won - Kim Soo Hyun are the perfect castings for this one and their chemistry just exploded in this episode. I am still worried for the divorce shit to pop up again later on in the show. Sung Hoon as always knows who to play psychotic assholes very well. He is going to be a pain in the ass for a while.
Ju Won and Hye Won talking with each other made me realize that both are exactly the same with same situations…
Seo Kyung is that toxic ex gf who won't get back together with ex bf but continue to meddle in his life to make sure he doesn't find someone else who is way better than her. Be it victimizing herself or gaslighting her ex bf or make things awkward for the new girl.
Ju Won was right when he said " I have no hope". Dude is a tool in her hands and is just ruining himself.
Yu Jung is someone I feel bad for a lot. An honest and straight forward girl who all she wants is a simple relationship with someoneshe likes but the guy she likes a lot has no spine. At this point CJ is way better choice for her atleast dude doesn't get wavered and goes for her only.
I would say Hong Suzu needs to work a lot on her emotional scenes. Be during her confrontation with Inha or after meet with Tae Oh , her eyes and facial expressions were stoned. You just can't feel anything from her be it feeling of fear, desperation , reunion, realizations....... I do get that it is her first big show but damn the only stuff where she is good at is when she goes for business talks and stuff as it doesn't need much to do but rest she needs to learn a lot.
Both Male leads are doing a really good job in portraying their characters and their emotions.
The show has underutilized Hee Joo's character a lot. Her scenes are a lot less and is only kept on sideways. She could have been given a lot of character progression but nothing much was done.
So Inha has gone full psycho and Hye Won has just realized the game she tired to play by using Inha just fired back at her.
HW's meeting with Tae Oh and her asking him to use his abilities for her really showed her shrewd nature. I am sure he has realized this now and won't be surprised if he betrays her later on too to get back at everyone who backstabbed him and even become the owner of Kang Oh himself. It's every man for himself now.
First he ended up dating a woman who was too objective and mature for him. Dude ended up getting hurt badly as he tired his best in the relationship to hear three words but that never happened.
Then he comes to a dating show and now likes a girl who doesn't give a slight shit about him. He likes Yu Jung who likes Ju Won and her bond with JW is going stable and strong . KT's date with her was full of awkwardness and she made it quite clear she wasn't into him at all but this idiot still kept going for her.
Then his ex gf comes to the show and to makes thing worse ended up setting his date with the girl who is not interested in him at all. His next date is gonna be another uncomfortable ride full of awkwardness and him getting turned down again.
Things are gonna escalate a lot next week as only 4eps are left, some emotional confrontations, some blackmailing, past revelations....... The show have kept a good pace and stayed quite true to webtoon so that is good.
Something really bad had gone down in the past that they both ended up this way, probably something related to their child's death.
Park Sung Hoon being one psychotic sumbitch with his creepy smile is terrifying to look at. Honestly his character is unnecessary as there is already too much in the show that addition of another evil moron wasn't needed.
God knows what's the deal with Hae In's mom to treat her own daughter like that. I get it she blames Hae In for her sibling's death but damn she is one horrible mother and worse mother in law.
KT: I already feel bad for poor bastard Kwang Tae and his date in next ep. A total awkward date where he will try giving his best only to receive nothing again. Jong Eun screwed him up without realizing it
KM/KSJ: Kyung Min wants a girlfriend who does and acts like what he wants. Dude doesn't realize but he is somewhat of a control freak who wants everything to be organized while Sang Jeong is one cheerful and lively girl who goes with the flow. He wanted to change her and in a way is still trying to do it even on the show. Of course he is killing her self esteem, saying he is disappointed in her and she acts childish over clothes..... Even after break up he is like that then god knows the shit he must have said when they were together. He may like her a lot but is toxic for her too and will only make her suffer if he himself doesn't change.
DH/DJ/HW: As much as I enjoy watching Dong Jin and Hye Won, my heart breaks for the angel Da Hye. The entire realization that her ex bf whom she had loved dearly for 13 years and still does is really interested in the one girl who was with her since the start of the show with both supporting each other through tough times. May god give DaHye a lot of happiness as she deserves the world.
CJ/YJ: Chang Jin is a total idiot of a dude who keeps on humiliating himself in front of Yu Jung. It is clear she is not interested in getting back together and likes Ju Won but keeps messaging her only to get nothing. First says that she shouldn't compare him to JW but then asks questions like these only to become more angry. Dude move on ......he could get himself an angel of a girl like DaHye but is too stuck up on his ex.
JW/SK: Seo Kyung at this point of time is annoying. Girl is like that toxic ex gf who will keep hurting her ex bf about some fight they had ages ago but won't let him move on too. She keeps playing push and pull with JW and he is emotional fool enough to fall for it every single time. It is clear she does shit intentionally in front of Yu Jung.
That is what you call an engaging show. Shit just went dark and thrilling and now you have to wait fir a week to see the final showdown.
I am sure stepmom had a hand in killing of Yisoo's mom and so the bearded guy too who is all guardian angel to him. Everyone has a dark side they are hiding.
I wouldn't be surprised if Seung Ju 's mom was the one behind Yisoo's mom death. She along with the guy she was cheating with orchestrated the entire thing to make it look like suicide. This was to make sure Seung Ju becomes the head of empire later on. That woman needs to go down.
It is a good thing that the ending was them separating and stop hurting each other. FL in a way had already moved on but it was ML who kept clinging on to her the entire show. Both should move on and find their own happiness instead of just gaslighting and hurting each other.
Kang In ha is one venomous snake who is pretty much using everyone to get what he wants. Using Tae Oh to gain power while keeping HyeWon even though he knows she is lying about her feelings for him. He wants to keep her as a trophy to boost his ego. Even when Hee Joo talked to him about HW, he clearly showed he ain't fool to fall for some lies.
Han Tae Oh is one calculative guy but a huge emotional fool when it comes to Hye Won. Dude just can't move on from a girl who is clearly his friend's wife. He thought he was going to use others but got chewed and thrown out by them after they used him.
Hye Won is as HeeJoo says a shrewd girl. She is only loyal to herself and her goals. I wouldn't be surprised if she betrays Tae Oh too in future to save her own skin. Girl wants to climb ladders using Inha but has no idea she is messing with the devil.
