Holy hell !!! the cast was right when they said the show will have twists after twists........ Some twists were expected but the ending wasn't, Either she is acting or it is the effect of her disease.
I feel so bad for Soo Cheol, dude loves his kid and wife so much and is ready to face anything be it standing up for them or injuring himself just so he could teach his kid how to cycle. Out of all the antagonists Da Hye is the only one who is somewhat ashamed of what she is doing.
Both the leads really know how to nail emotional scenes. The show is really living upto its title.
Everyone feel like a red flag of some sort . Not even one person is green flag . It's a really messy season .
When it comes to guys..... there isn't one proper green flag.
Some are too stuck up on the past, one looks desperate, one is too controlling and condescending, one is dumb witted and only fcking things up for himself, one is confused whether to move on or not.
For girls I love Yu Jung's transparency and straightforwardness. Instead of dragging misunderstandings, she just talks it out and fixes things which is a great attitude. She also never leads other on and makes things clear whether she likes someone or not.
Rest of the girls too are the same like guys, confused, spineless, too stuck up on the past, one is just toxic, one is too mature for most of the guys. one is just childish.
YJ and JW would be the perfect fit for a ideal couple to leave the show if JW can grow a spine. Dude is so stuck up on his past and keeps getting hurt but still goes back to SK.
I love HW and JW's friendly relationship. Both help heal each other after getting screwed and confused by their exes time and again.
At this point of time I don't understand DJ at all. WTF was he thinking msging Jong Eun. If he was grateful, he can just talk to her but dumb witted idiot just screwed things up. Dude didn't even clarify or talk to her later on but went to sleep. Frankly it is better for Da Hye to move on as guys like DJ just make things overcomplicated for themselves.
Hye Won can openly deny she doesn't care much about what HW feels but she sure does a lot. She is easily swayed by HH and would probably go back to him had he said he wanted them to be together.
CJ's chances went from 50% by the start of ep to 0% by the end.
DH putting up a laughing face after talking to HW and then going up to cry alone was heartbreaking.
Sk.......... god knows what she is upto. I gave up on her way back. She is too complicated and somewhat toxic. JW deserves the misery he gets from her constant rejections.
Why always compare the two females characters, why? They are diferent
Where the fck did I compare the two characters or the actresses ? Where the fck am I saying who is better between them ?
All I have written is how one of the leads tried playing with the other but got screwed and how I think the drama might end for the three leads. That's It.
Yes.... I am not happy with how Hee Joo is not given much screentime for character or story progression. She could have been turned from a daddy's little princess to one strong woman capable to lead things or even take over things from her brother but that didn't happen.
So kindly read carefully before crying out ? No need to reply back.
So they turned Hee Joo into a 2 minute per episode character.
So basically all Hye Won did in past years was for nothing as at the end of the day, all she got for spreading her legs for Inha or marrying him was getting assaulted and later ending up tied to a bed in hospital. She tried playing with the devil but the devil played her.
I think I already know what is to come, In Ha will get arrested and presented in court with his dad gaining consciousness again and becoming the witness and alibi to all his crimes. Dude will be prisoned for life and as for Kang Oh empire is concerned, it is either Tae Oh or Hye Won. Would be quite cool if Hee Joo becomes the owner of the empire, and that way she could even get Tae Oh to marry her although chances of that happening are minimalistic.
I don't think the entire divorce thing will be dragged on much....hell way worse things are happening with their family and business.
The show is fast paced and not draggy also looking at the preview, the divorce stuff confrontation will happen and both will go in jealousy mode after returning, but it will be kept somewhat lighthearted and comedic. Hae In ain't letting anything happen to Hyun Woo in this legal trouble neither is he leaving her side. I would say things between them might cool down by E8.
I have this feeling that Eun Seong or his mom is somehow responsible for Hae In's brother death.
Soo Cheol is dumb and sometimes bratty but it does looks like underneath everything all he wanted was recognition from his grandpa and to show him he is more than just a dumbwitted spoilt brat. He keeps getting compared to and losing to Hae In and for sure wants to show he is good too.
After how he stood up for his snake of a wife and kid, If he finds out that the kid isn't his or to make things worse is of Eun Seong, poor bastard will be shattered.
Even though I feel they just picked the kid from some orphanage as he says he kid doesn't look like Da Hye at all. The family is dumb enough and can be fooled easily by faking pregnancy.
There are subtle traces showing Da Hye having a little bit of affection for him so maybe in future she might get a redemption arc.
Hae In's face when Hyun Woo's family came looking for her in the rain and packing her lunch making her realize there are people who love and care for her truly was subtle yet gold.
I mean this isn't some rom com so I knew it won't happen nor was it needed. Both the leads have a good relationship…
True...... These dramas show that you don't need overly cheesy moments or skinship to show off chemistry. Even subtle and comforting moments are enough, when both the story and characters are well written
HAE IN AND HYUN WOO NEED TO HAVE A LONG HEART TO HEART TALK
Both wouldn't have suffered for so long had Hae In been open about her real feelings from the start.
When she had a miscarriage, she was as devastated as Hyun Woo was but didn't show it and acted as is she wasn't that bothered. Looks like she blames herself for the miscarriage and also for her sibling's death ( even her own mom blames her). So she believes she has no right to cry for the loss and has been doing this ever since she was a kid. The entire cold and strong persona is to stop the world and her family from seeing the poor girl who has been suffering inside. Her mother is to blame for her nature and internal suffering.
E4 and E5 showed her slowly letting her real emotions out to Hyun woo and hope she does it more later on.
I waited and waited and waited for a kiss scene 😂
I mean this isn't some rom com so I knew it won't happen nor was it needed. Both the leads have a good relationship a little more than friends but not lovers.... most importantly a relation full of trust.
Damn the show really knows how to pull your heart strings. Kim Ji Won - Kim Soo Hyun are the perfect castings for this one and their chemistry just exploded in this episode. I am still worried for the divorce shit to pop up again later on in the show. Sung Hoon as always knows who to play psychotic assholes very well. He is going to be a pain in the ass for a while.
Ju Won and Hye Won talking with each other made me realize that both are exactly the same with same situations…
Seo Kyung is that toxic ex gf who won't get back together with ex bf but continue to meddle in his life to make sure he doesn't find someone else who is way better than her. Be it victimizing herself or gaslighting her ex bf or make things awkward for the new girl.
Ju Won was right when he said " I have no hope". Dude is a tool in her hands and is just ruining himself.
Yu Jung is someone I feel bad for a lot. An honest and straight forward girl who all she wants is a simple relationship with someoneshe likes but the guy she likes a lot has no spine. At this point CJ is way better choice for her atleast dude doesn't get wavered and goes for her only.
I would say Hong Suzu needs to work a lot on her emotional scenes. Be during her confrontation with Inha or after meet with Tae Oh , her eyes and facial expressions were stoned. You just can't feel anything from her be it feeling of fear, desperation , reunion, realizations....... I do get that it is her first big show but damn the only stuff where she is good at is when she goes for business talks and stuff as it doesn't need much to do but rest she needs to learn a lot.
Both Male leads are doing a really good job in portraying their characters and their emotions.
The show has underutilized Hee Joo's character a lot. Her scenes are a lot less and is only kept on sideways. She could have been given a lot of character progression but nothing much was done.
So Inha has gone full psycho and Hye Won has just realized the game she tired to play by using Inha just fired back at her.
HW's meeting with Tae Oh and her asking him to use his abilities for her really showed her shrewd nature. I am sure he has realized this now and won't be surprised if he betrays her later on too to get back at everyone who backstabbed him and even become the owner of Kang Oh himself. It's every man for himself now.
First he ended up dating a woman who was too objective and mature for him. Dude ended up getting hurt badly as he tired his best in the relationship to hear three words but that never happened.
Then he comes to a dating show and now likes a girl who doesn't give a slight shit about him. He likes Yu Jung who likes Ju Won and her bond with JW is going stable and strong . KT's date with her was full of awkwardness and she made it quite clear she wasn't into him at all but this idiot still kept going for her.
Then his ex gf comes to the show and to makes thing worse ended up setting his date with the girl who is not interested in him at all. His next date is gonna be another uncomfortable ride full of awkwardness and him getting turned down again.
Some twists were expected but the ending wasn't, Either she is acting or it is the effect of her disease.

Big bro being a total psycho was something I did expect to happen and both him and his mother deserve the suffering they are getting.
The show from start to end was bang on good and engaging. I hope they do make a sequel.
Kim Ji Won - Kim Soo Hyun are the perfect castings for this one and their chemistry just exploded in this episode.

1. Both have shitty and manipulative exes.
2. Both have gotten a chance to get with someone way better but keep getting ruining it cuz they just can't let go of their exes.
3. Both keep messaging the same person everyday but get wavered by their exes opinions.
4. Both of them need to get their shit straight and choose someone or they will just hurt themselves and others more.
I do get that it is her first big show but damn the only stuff where she is good at is when she goes for business talks and stuff as it doesn't need much to do but rest she needs to learn a lot.

IH gone full psycho to make sure TO dies and assaults HW.
HW is trying to gain power by herself and going against IH.
